Our experience was frustrating, especially with the aggressive enforcement from the rangers and the overwhelming presence of ATVs. If you re looking for a more enjoyable outing, K2 and Wolf Caves seem like better alternatives that might provide a more enjoyable adventure.

Im not gonna lie, but Ive never been to this park. But I was considering until I looked up the prices. Oh my God. These people are insane. It would cost my family of four 100 dollars for go out here for one day. Then look at the reviews the last year or so. Its crazy. I will stick to barnwell and the couple places we have here around Houston. This location should be embarrassed of themselves. This is not the way to conduct a business

Took the mini bikes out there. Was a blast! If you have a upgraded razor, or Coleman mini bike with TC you could cruise on Park Roads and have a blast. Couple good beginner trails and then of course they have a ton of harder trails for the real bikes and 4x4s. Overall great place! General store in case you forgot a helmet, goggles, or gloves. I ll be back for sure!

The park was fantastic. There are a wide variety of trails from roads that a stock 4x4 can handle to boulders that will give the most insane jeeps a run for their money. This was my first time here, the rangers Denny and Shirley took me on a tour of some of sites to see in the park and spotted me through things I never thought my truck would have been able to make it over. Cant wait to get back here with some of my more well equipped trucks and really explore

I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome this place was. Ive offroaded in my old JK 2 door X on 31s in Cali at places like Pismo Beach Dunes, Rowher Flats, and Cleghorn Ridge. Now that I live in Texas I didnt think I would find a place as difficult as those trails, but this place didnt disappoint! I now have a JL 2 door Rubicon on the stock KO2 33s and questioned if it could handle the 5 diamond trails, ultimately staying on the 4 diamond ones. Especially given I had my dog in the back. I also really appreciate the gentleman that waved me in noticing my DV plate and letting the office know I get a military discount. I really hate to ask, so not having to really made my day. Thank you guys! Ill be back soon!

My wife and I shared our 20th anniversary at this park. Rented Zips Cabin for two nights and explored the park. The people we met were courteous and friendly. The rules are pretty much common sense, or should I say rare sense these days, and easy to follow. Some of the trails are tough and some are easy enough for my utv. We downloaded the virtual map and I highly recommend it. Our cabin was stocked with towels, pillows, bed sheets, blankets, and fans. The ac unit worked great. The kitchen had silver ware, dishes, microwave, hot plate and kuereg with McCafe. I recommend this place, it is way more than my wife and I expected and the scenery is beautiful. Thanks for putting up with us on our anniversary

My daughter and I tent camped in area A, and rode dirt bikes. It had everything we needed, and more! Bathrooms, showers. We found every type of trail we wanted, including the epic hidden falls. great for the family! For anyone that wants to rip on your dirt bike, run a bib mousse. We ran tubes, had fun, but we were an 11 year old and a dad , that isnt uber fast. There are tons of sharp rocks that almost guarantee a puncture if you are getting after it. They sell replacement tubes at the general store, so not to worry too much. Tons of amenities, showers, bathrooms that are very clean/dont smell, and the avenza map feature is great. Would love to see all the trails combined onto one map, with star rating next to the trail so its easier to pick.

This is a great place to bring your UTV s, dirt bikes, rock crawlers and most things off road. A great place for beginners and limited upgrades needed for your vehicle. There are the harder obstacles but most can be bypassed. Maps are handed out in the front office. There s an amazing shooting range and plenty of Rv spaces and parking with cabins available as well. Limited pro shop equipment but to be expected. This is a place you definitely don t want to miss even if you are the hard core off road enthusiast. Some helpful tips. During the dry times bring wipes for your face. It can really get dusty and pile up on your skin. Stock vehicles can easily get around just be mindful and look at your map so you don t get into some bigger trails. Get to the top of the mountain and take some good photos. Worth the view. Again, great place for utv s and dirt bikes as well. Lots of trails. Explore, explore, explore!! Toilets: Large restrooms to accommodate large groups. Picnic area: There is a central covered location with a good truck.

Hidden Falls Adventure Park is an absolute gem for off-road enthusiasts! From the moment you arrive, youre greeted with exceptional organization and efficiency at check-in, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure. The variety of terrain offered for ATVs, motorcycles, side-by-sides, and full-size vehicles is truly impressive, with runs labeled like ski resorts to help you navigate based on your skill level. What sets Hidden Falls apart is its accessibility. You dont need a four-wheel-drive vehicle to access the park, and all camping facilities and housing accommodations are easily reached by 2WD vehicles, although be prepared for some dust - but hey, thats part of the adventure, right? The staff at Hidden Falls is top-notch - professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. Id rate the fun factor here a solid 10 out of 10! Whether youre a seasoned off-roader or a novice looking for an exhilarating experience, Hidden Falls Adventure Park delivers excitement, thrills, and memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommended!

Very organized as far as getting to the park, but either the maps arent up to par or they are just not signage anywhere. Lots of our group and others found themselves turning onto level 5 courses and not even knowing due to the maps not being the same as the course. That could get someone in a bad situation very easily. Staff was nice, park was oretty, only downfall was the map, amd there not being much direction other than your own eyes going down a road. Will def return next weekend. If you want to be on safe side just stay on the park roads 4&1 and dint trust the map to go onto trails.

Read the other reviews and don t waste your time/money here- they seem to be very exclusive about who they allow to have fun and who they bully into leaving. We love the wheeling at this park and have for a long time. The past few trips have been less than stellar due to the staff. We have a fairly large group that travels around hitting parks. Pricing was different for people in our group. Staff was rude from the time we pulled up to the check-in location. Seemed like pricing was based off what window you walked up to. This was the closest park to us with wheeling similar to hot springs but our entire group has written this place off. We will convoy to hot springs before we make the 3 hour drive to Hidden Falls to be greater with sour attitudes. I give it 3 stars because the trails are nice but the staff is going to run all of the visitors away.

Without a doubt, one of the best parks in the area is the only problem is the people who ride around in jeeps taking care of the park. They are very arrogant with a high degree of fatigue. They are always smoking, and it even seems like they are drunk. Many times, I have seen them threatening or expelling people. From the park, sometimes for no reason, people who just want to enjoy the park and have a good time they arrive very angry with the clients.

5 stars: Experience 3 stars: Prices 1 stars: Inconsiderate camp neighbors Averages to 3 stars The good: Spent the weekend at HF; our first time there. The park itself was nice! Loved the rugged nature and getting to test our Cruiser on the trails. I do wish the trails were labeled a bit better. As I said, it was our first time there and we didnt know the place well enough to feel okay about getting lost since we also werent sure yet of what our Cruiser could handle off-road. So we didnt venture out as far as I would have liked. The actual plumbing in the campgroud restrooms was appreciated, being used to the pit toilets and shoddy plumbing at most state parks. Hot water from the sink was also very nice! The not-good: Cost; super expensive just to drive into the park. Also, we were hoping for more of a kid-friendly atmosphere. We did note several other families camping in the same area, but we apparently drew the short straw on campsite neighbors. Saturday night, they were blasting their music, which was just mildly annoying at first, since we were trying to get the kids to sleep, then it turned a corner when the music became obscene. And its not like they didnt know there were kids in a tent 10 yards away from them. Add on the fact that Sunday morning, they left their campfire burning (like, visible flames; not just smoldering ashes). So I took the time to thoroughly put the fire out before we left. Would hate for the beauty around HF to be destroyed in a fire. Not related to the camp neighbors, the picnic table at our site was very much broken and looked like it had been for a while. It was disappointing to not have the full use of the picnic table for meals. We might be back to test the Crusier again on the trails, but probably wont camp there again.

We are relatively new to offroading and was a little nervous about going to an OHV Park. Most of our experience is in the Ouachita National Forest and a couple of trips to Barnwell and Crossbar on the easy trails. When we arrived, we felt a sense of ease secondary to how we were greeted and then treated. First the guy at the gate was very polite and funny, he pulled us in like we were pilots of an airplane. We had a short but nice chat with him and he even saw us leaving and came over to see how we liked it. Second, the staff behind the desk, at the general store asked us if we needed any help . We told them we are newish to Wheeling and he took out a map and showed us what he would consider a perfect route for less experienced people. He laid it out in great detail and marked on the map the exact route we would take and he marked any spots that may be an issue. We eased our way down Park Road 1 and it was nice, when we hit park road 2, I would say that some of it was as difficult as most of the trails we have actually done. We the went from park road 2 to Hog Alley back to Park road 2, up North Pole to North Spur, back to park road 2, up to park road 1, to park road 3 up to Wildcat Mountain. We spent some time enjoying the view and realizing that out new Jeep Rubicon X on 35s just didnt have any issues with obstacles that looked difficult to us. We meet a couple of young ladies later in the day and rode several trails with them including the last leg of our route down Valley Road. We also road up to North Peak and after pulling onto the trail, we decided it was a little over our head. It was a great first day and we learned a lot. On day 2 we met up with 3 experienced young men and they showed us the ropes and we were able to complete North Pole and do a section of Baby Back and several other sections that we would not have attempted on our own. What a learning experience. All in all it was my favorite trail to date and I cant wait to go back. Aftermarket skids and rock rails are on the way so we will be prepared for more.

We had a great weekend at the park with our local Jeep group. Lots of fun challenging trails and lots of options on bypasses if they were needed. Park rangers were all nice and welcoming answering all the questions some of us first timers had. They also have a kid section for our youngest two to go ride atvs. This is a great place for a family weekend of fun.

A spectacular place to go offroading or simply to walk and spend the day with the family... the attention is wonderful, You have 5 levels of routes, all well marked for beginners to experts... And if you dont have all-terrain vehicles you can rent one. There are also places where you can shoot or stay camping... I recommend it 100%

Cant get a refund if you need to cancel reservations its just a park credit so you cant get your money back at all. Cancellations also need 48 hours advance notice but they are not open until Thursday, so if you figure out that week you cant make it for the weekend you cant cancel in time because they arent open. Also getting in after park hours is a nightmare for those arriving late or close to closing time.

Havent been here in few years and trails are significantly rougher. Current difficulty levels are not indicated correctly on trail map. Trail markers are not great in some areas, which makes it difficult to make sure you are not going down a trail that is beyond capability of vehicle.

Definitely have trails for any capabilities, didn t think I was going to be able to do much , but I was extremely wrong and surprised, we ll worth the visit

Worst park I ve been to, management has a old man who think he can harass you for any reason and threatens to bend you out of the park if he doesn t like what you re doing, we are always out with a big group and where s always going to be someone that might do something wrong like come out of a turn to fast, normally in any other park they will ring it to your attention with respect and courtesy, but there s a old man that came up to us saying that he going to ban us from the park, last 3 times I ve been to this park the old man has followed us around looking for a reason to harasses us to the point where he has the sheriffs, waiting for us at camp to intimidate us, never going back.

Not many off road parks in Texas. This is a must try if you haven t explored the Texas hill country. Try to go in the cooler months though, the summer heat can be brutal. And drink lots of fluids to stay hydrated. If you forget to bring a air compressor, it s okay because they have an air station at the pavilion that is pretty quick.

The park is great for riding. The HF office is a bunch of crooks who over charge so beware. We rented a UTV down the road and were charged $120+ bucks for a party of four in a Polaris and I was the only adult driver. Update your website, false advertising/pricing!

Absolutely love going here, tons of trails, more then you could do in one day. Onsite showers and cabins, and primative camping. The staff is always friendly and helpful, just follow the rules. The park rangers are always there to help with their own vehicles, but it would be nice if they had a recovery vehicle stocked with medical supplies, tools, and recovery gear. Things happen and people get stuck, parts break, and people get injured. It should would make me and my family feel better knowing if something happens theres a dedicated response vehicle to help pull us out, help with small injuries, or run us back to camp for parts and tools. Aside from that, this place is awesome and I highly recommend it to anyone who has a atv, utv, or dirt bike and looking for that trail experience which is hard to find in texas.

I haven t found a better spot.. great trails, decent signs (part of the adventure!), helpful rangers, well-stocked general store.
