Went to Bar Louie for a late lunch and was very disappointed in not only the service but also our food. When we arrived it took forever for a server to come. They were too busy talking at the hostess table to come to our table. Once somebody finally came she was very uninterested and standoff (waitress with red hair). After waiting 20 mins for our water we never saw her again. So long so that another waitress came over and asked if we ve been helped. We told her our server disappeared and we ve been waiting, so she said she d help us instead. She thankfully was very nice! As far as food, everything was either way too salty or just bland. So overall we left pretty disappointed in our entire experience.

I LOVE Frank, he is absolutely amazing ! Theresa on the other hand can do better. Every time I come it s always something with her. Tonight it was an eye roll cause I asked for a side a ranch. Body language screams she hates me. If she is the only bartender next time I come in I promise I m not gonna stay. Horrible customer service!

We came in for a pre-concert drink and appetizers. The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and the food as always was excellent. Good drink specials at Happy Hour and reasonably priced even at regular times. A really nice bonus was an impromptu visit from the General Manager, Lance, just dropping by tables asking about our experience and giving us some helpful hints and suggestions for our future visits. I already liked the restaurant before, but this was a nice touch. We are definitely going to make this our go to meeting place whenever we are in Irving and/or seeing shows at the Toyota Music Pavilion.

This is a great place!! Awesome atmosphere and vibes as soon as you walk in. I sat at the bar with a coworker after a long day on the job and I asked about their philly steak. It was highly recommend by the bartender and he said it was his favorite. It was absolutely bonkers good! I saved half and my wife ate the rest when I got back home and she couldnt shut up about it. You made a new patron!! I wish I got pictures. Very good portions and presentations. Parking: Parking is different here. Some spots you have to scan a qr code and register your spot for a duration. Parking garage is paid only. Sometimes you get away with free parking. Sometimes not.

I was having a great night until I was refused alcohol even after explaining I have a neurological condition called ataxia that makes my voice deep. Maybe talk to the customer before you assume they are intoxicated. If you talked to me I would have told you about my brain injury and the effects of it but instead you assumed I was drunk and humiliated me and ruined my night. Now you have made me scared to go to a bar again, after I have worked up so much courage to even go out in public. Thanks Bar Louie, I will never return to any of your locations.

Went on Independence Day so was expecting service food to be average at best but quite the opposite. Easy going atmosphere, friendly and relaxed service Food was excellent and surprisingly good. The sliders were really good and hit the spot. Really like our server and.his chill and friendly way. All.in all a good and enjoyable experience. Parking: Parking lot sometimes free in the evening.

Came to this bar a few weeks ago, our attendant was a young boy who was very very rude, never took the order right so we had food missing, we talked to the manager who was pleasant, he gave us a different server and gave us vouchers but it was already late in the game and our moods were down so we left. Last night we decided to go back and give the place another chance, had to wait over 30 and still no server came, we politely walked out never to come back. Never again am I going back here. This place probably needs to hire more mature servers or have them do a class in customer service. And thank you to the manager I believe Travis if I am not wrong. You were very kind. 6 stars to you .

Called ahead to see what time kitchen closed, I was informed it closed at 1:30. We arrived at 12:55, I approached bar to see how to order, she informed us she would send a server to get us. After 25 minutes of no service and sitting there awkwardly while server socialized with a nearby table, I decided to go back to bar where I was told eventually that the kitchen had closed. Had been wanting to try this establishment since moving here 2 years ago, this has ruined any chance of return.

I will change this rating if I have a better experience, for now this stands and I think is generous. My daughter, her boyfriend, and I went to grab some late lunch. I hadn t eaten since the day before so I was hoping to find something good. My daughter and I had quesadillas and her boyfriend had chicken tenders and fries. I ordered a honey bourbon sour, never got it. There were no napkins on the table and it was hard to get the server long enough to ask for anything as he was training someone. My cloth napkin was filthy. The server would ask my daughter s boyfriend (man at the table) if we needed anything but didn t wait for me and my daughter to respond. I was the eldest at the table. Now, the manager, I assume because she had on regular clothes, had a whole staff meeting on the floor and this kept us from getting service further. We couldn t ask for napkins, my missing drink, or the check. Another server literally walked over to point out that there were other patrons that needed to be waited on. The food I didn t try them but my daughter s boyfriend liked the tenders. No complaints there. The chicken quesadillas were greasy. Lots of cheese, not melted or hot including the chicken and sauce. I would not recommend them. When I mentioned my drink when the server finally came over, I was asked if they could bring one. I said yes. Several minutes and passes later, nothing. The server plops down in a booth next to another server so we left. I did tip but it definitely wasn t deserved. I will go again since this place is very near my home and sit in a different section or at the bar, order something different and see what happens

First of all Travis is awesome. He s the night manager at bar Louie. Food was good. Drinks were nice and strong. Pamela G was our server and she was so polite and attentive. Weve been going to BL for a number of years. In the beginning it was great with lots of people inside & out, families, great service & food . Last night not so much. Friday night and hardly anyone there. The music (rap) was extremely loud, service was slow, drinks were weak and food was no better than a hotel bar. The entire area seems to have gone down as most restaurants were empty on a Friday night. So aside from the $60 for two drinks & appetizers, the atmosphere wasnt the best at all.

Beware of high drink prices. No way should anyone pay $31 for a double titos vodka redbull. Food was decent but was delivered to the wrong table where it sat for 5 minutes before coming directly to our table afterwards. We had a mixed experience at this restaurant. When we arrived, we seated ourselves and noticed that the previous guests leftovers were still on the table (same with other tables). Despite a staff member seeing us, no one came to clean up, so I had to go inside and request assistance. Once we got past that, the food and drinks were excellent, making up for the initial inconvenience. If they could improve their service and attentiveness, it would be a fantastic place to dine.

This is the 2nd Bar Louie Ive been to (1st one closed down) and both times food was decent but service was lacking. Was on the area for a convention, went to eat around 1:30 or so on a Saturday and other than bar patrons, we were thr only table seated. Even with that, service was slow. I was brought the wrong drink, no biggie, it happens but it was quite a bit until I could ask for the correct drink as the server spent most of her time talking at the hostess desk with the hostess and whom I assuming was the manager. She was cordial and polite but for being the only table sat, the length of time between being sat, ordering, getting food and being able to ask for the check was a bit disappointing.

Went to this restaurant bar just after midnight to get some dinner and maybe a drink. We arrived and were not greeted, so we sat ourselves outside by the door so the wait staff could see us. After sitting there and getting passed up by 2 different waitresses over 10 minutes, we got up and went inside to hopefully get seen. We did, and were told by one of the two waitresses that they would come take our order shortly. After they left, we didn t see them again. Another 10 minutes go by and after the bar staff acknowledging us and said they would get someone over, the another 2 waitresses going passed us not stopping to greet us, take our drink orders, or pass menus. Finally a completely different waitress comes out of the kitchen and asks if we had been helped. We said no and that it had been a minute and that we were about to leave unfortunately. The waitress then condescendingly asks Then do you want to be helped or no? . I get that it s a long day, and she was probably tired, but to give such a rude tone of voice was not called for. It was just as long and rough for us as it was for her, and to give such an attitude to a couple of people looking to just end their night on a high note is not only unprofessional but also incredibly insulting. With that, we got up and said no thank you. After walking out, we see that waitress go to the unoccupied side of the restaurant facing the windows to the road sit down and start laughing with another waitress just sitting at a table folding napkins. The lack of professionalism from her and the poor attentiveness of the staff really ruined any want to return to this place or suggest it to others. You never know what someone may have gone through, and to be treated so insultingly can really make a day worse. Hopefully this place will either get their staff better training or put more staff in place to avoid this from happening to someone else that may have a worse day than us.

Come here from time to time to have a drink after a show but never eat. Weve eaten at the Highlands location in Arlington so figured it would equal in taste. Surprised it did not. They have a smaller selection after 9 which was still ok. I ordered chicken nachos. Ton of stale chips in picked thru, the cheese was cold, but the avocado & sour cream was fresh. I asked the waiter for warm nachos cheese he brought some out. Hubby ordered wings, req flats. They said they couldnt do, which is ok, but they brought him chicken tenders. So being it was busy we waited to find waiter when he came he noticed it was tenders. Kindly took back and brought out the lemon pepper wings . A bit overcooked, I got a long island cocktail and hub got a simple grey goose and cranberry. My drink arrived but looked different, I take a drink and its definitely different. Then the waiter said the bartender replaced the lemon sour with cranberry..I was shocked that was her/his odd replacement choice, but I accepted the drink. Drank half and ordered another with pineapple to replace the lemonsour, not cranberry. Its busy on fri n sat but wish it would have been a better experience. Waiter was nice did his best.

Terrible. Went for concert, saved most of my calories for the day because I wanted to eat here. I was hungry to say the least. We ordered drinks and food at the bar and received the drinks fairly quickly. We waited and waited for our food, which was on our receipt in front of us so I know it was put in. 40 minutes of waiting for bar food we finally asked where it us. The bartender told us the kitchen staff took a break as we put our order in. At the busiest time of the day We obviously didn t believe that and 10 more minutes passed. We decided to cancel and just paid for drinks and left. The bartender as we were leaving. , also said she TRIED LIGHTING A FIRE UNDER THEM TO GET THEN TO WORK. We went across the street and ate The Budlong and it was amazing. And we got our food in under 5 minutes. Final thought: we spent $78 on 4, very subpar drinks at the Bar Louie.

came here to celebrate my birthday with my boyfriend and friends and it took so long for a server to come greet us. Then when we finally got greeted i didn t even get a happy birthday from the server and they seemed hesitant to serve us drinks even when we showed our IDs. The server rarely came around to ask if i wanted another drink or refills. This is a great place to hang out at. We came here on a friday around 2pm for drinks and food. The atmosphere is great, as is the location. The food was good, I had the fried fish burger. It was a little too oily for my liking. The drinks are awesome but the service overall was very very slow. Waited for a draft beer for about 15 minutes and there were only a few people at the bar. Otherwise it was empty. The server didnt really come to check in with us a lot. We were sitting there with empty glasses for a while. Overall a good place, but maybe hire some more staff so customers wont have to wait that long.

This is my favorite location but they tend to have issues with not having their full menu available online, the new Bar Louie app or Doordash etc. It happens a lot, a bit annoying. I wanted to share my horrible experience with the food, staff and manager. My wife and I waited for about 10 minutes to be approached for drinks at a table. We had to flag the wait staff down and it wasnt busy at all. We placed an order and received our order 25 minutes later. The Gastroburger is not what the menu says. Our side order was supposed to be tots but came as fries. When they brought the tots out, they were cold. We asked for the manager and he was very sarcastic. He basically said, it is what it is! We paid for our order and left. Worst experience we have had in a long time. We will never go back and let everyone know it was horrible.

Having been a previous employee of this establishment under different management I expected a little more from Bar louie. We arrived at approximately 5:30 pm for friends birthday celebration and sat for 20 minutes patiently waiting for service. We had to flag down a server to even acknowledge us. Throughout our entire time here our food was delayed and was clearly sitting under the heating lamp for a lengthy amount of time. It was cold and shriveled up. Numerous times we had to ask for another round of drinks and for the food that was delayed. When it came to our checks, our server kept walking away and couldn t figure out what we had on our checks. He lacked the communication and personality to provide decent service. Everyone in our party works in the service industry and were very understanding except when it comes to a clear disregard of the bare minimum it requires to serve tables.

We sat in the front outdoor patio and, while they typically don t serve food out on that patio, they graciously offered to. All of our food was great and the old fashioned was well made! The tomato basil soup and Cali chicken sandwich was 10/10!!

I admittedly love this bar. I think its the atmosphere I love the most, always clean and cool and just a good vibe. I dont remember having the staff go above and beyond or anything, but they are polite and get their job done - which is all I need. Food and drinks have been good as well. Would suggest trying to go a little early as, if the place if full or if it is booked out, they will turn you away. Parking: Usually the parking in the lot around the restaurant is full. I go straight to the garage behind it and, even now needing to put in a credit card, Ive never needed to pay. I cant remember if it is a 2/3 hour free or if you get it vouched - but would recommend going straight to the garage for parking Kid-friendliness: Im sure kids could be safe here, but its definitely not the type of place to bring kids... They will probably be bored quickly in the type of atmosphere this place invokes. Would recommend coming with adults only.

Came in for an early dinner place not busy at all. Service was ok, but nothing remarkable. Food itself ..would not order again. Club sandwich made my spouse sick later on that evening and tater tot s in each person s dish were so over cooked. For how slow they were you would think the food would have come out better.

This is the second time Ive done take-out here, and both times Ive been disappointed with the service. This time around, it took over 30 minutes to get my order, and this was after the lunch rush. My co-worker ordered the same time I did, and when she received her meal, the bag was covered in ketchup because a packet exploded and ended up in the bag with her lunch. She also requested mayo, which they didnt have even though its offered online. The server handed her garlic aioli instead with the comment its not that bad? Not sure its comparable to mayo. When we finally got back to our desk, she found out no lettuce or pickle was on her burger, and I didnt have any onion on mine. After this, I will not be going back, and I recommend going to Thirsty Lion instead.

I ve been here several times before and this time I brought my coworkers and it went so bad. We went Saturday night 12/5/2023 around 10pm. My friend attempted to order a drink from the bar and has an out of state license. Apparently this location does not have a a scanner to verify the authenticity of an ID. They went back to him and told him they couldn t accept it, he then provided his military ID which is a FEDERAL ID and he was told they would accept that neither. He then got upset as he is a veteran, currently being denied service. The crazy thing is he has been there several times before and never had an issue with his ID. The bartender then refused to serve any of us after he got upset. When I asked her the issue with his ID, she first said it didn t feel right, I asked her what didn t feel right about it, she mentioned the star on it is thin when there is no star on this state s ID. She continued to make excuses and did not provide a valid answer. She refused to serve a veteran, when he asked to speak with a manager she said she was the manager and the whole staff did not feel comfortable serving him. This was pure discrimination. Especially considering we have been here several times with the same IDs and never had an issue.

I recently had an unfortunate experience at Bar Louie. After receiving a burger with incorrect ingredients, I spoke to the manager, Marissa, who seemed indifferent to the fact that the requested sauce was still present, indicating an attempt to remove it. I expressed concern about cross-contamination, but it appeared they werent attentive to such requests. To make matters worse, the second burger for my girlfriend was raw and bloody, and the staffs response conveyed a lack of concern for the quality of their food. While they readily refunded our money, the overall experience left much to be desired in terms of food quality and customer care.

We had a meeting here with drinks and food buffet that consisted of burger, Buffalo bites,spinach quest and pizza all of which was cold, there was nothing that was warm or hot thats a problem for me, didnt want to get sick, so the $20 I paid for the meeting covered the drinks of Jack n Coke that was great. Parking: This is confusing, you have to insert a card, no receipt is given, but remember to get validated parking before you leave your establishment which is a bar code for this purpose, dont forget or youll be charged....

I just want to say thank you to Pam for being the best waitress! We came out to celebrate my son s bday and she handled our crazy orders like a champ!
