My husband and I are traveling on a road trip from Philadelphia to California. We stopped at the BurgerBarn for lunch. I had a fiesta burger which was delicious! My husband had the original BurgerBarn burger he said was very good and we shared onion rings that were made with real onions and were hot and delicious! 9-22-24 Not sure what they have going on but we made an online order left to go pick it up after they said it was ready, arrived and was told it was not ready, ice machine didnt work 3/4 of the fountain drinks did not work, the staff seemed to not have a clue what they were doing, waited almost 30 mins just to be told our food had been sitting in the hot box they just forgot about. All of that just for them to get everything wrong, overcooked meat, no cheese or condiments on the burgers, no cheese fries, Im not sure who is training the teenagers on the cooking side of things but it needs to be addressed.

It s the little things!! I had to write a review because I truly appreciate when service is taken above and beyond without an issue occurring first!! Burger Barn in Manvel was top tier for me last night! I am currently in the middle of moving and I wanted a burger so bad and I don t eat beef burgers I only eat turkey or plant based, and time was getting away from me, so we got dinner late to begin with, everyone else wanted McDonald s and I called in an order at Burger Barn because of my dietary restrictions, because I was in a U-Haul truck I chose to do curbside, omg why did I do that ? It took them so long and they brought my food out 8min to 9pm the time that BB closes, so I called them to let them know that I was sorry and that I would not make it in time before they close and they assured me that they would wait for me I was so happy so I hurried down Hwy 6 and when I got there not only did they wait for me but they also remade my order without me asking so I wouldn t have cold food ! They are the best and I couldn t thank them more! I know that this is why mom and pop chains like this matter so much to the community because that is a touch of love that you only see from business that care about their customers in the community! I wish I could give 10 stars Dietary restrictions: Personally I don t eat much beef at all and I am always ordering vegan or turkey burger if I can t find vegan! Love the teriyaki burger. An extra pineapple ring would go a long way. Burger is good price, however a la cart is crap. I dont want to pay for drinks. Just a burger and fries option, please. A few less obstructions on the walls to run into would be cool too. Ive run into the antelope four times.

If I could give a ZERO, I would. We arrived with another couple and placed our orders. No one else was in the restaurant. After about 10 minutes, the other couple got their food. At this point 8 other couples, not with us had entered the restaurant and placed their orders. I waited about 9 minutes and went and asked about our food. The lady said let me check. By this time all the other couples were starting to get their food. She never came back. 10 minutes later I went back up to ask about our order. They told me the kitchen was backed up. So 10 minutes later they brought me my burger, but still didn t bring my husband s. I ate my burger and then we went and asked for a refund on his burger. They issued the refund. Very unprofessional and could care less. We will not be going back.

This was my first time coming here. My husband grew up in the area and decided we go back to his hometown for lunch. As soon as I walked in, I love the atmosphere. Tons of fun decor to look at, they even have a monster burger challenge that looked fun to try. The food is really well priced for the portions you re getting. I tried the cha-cha burger and it was delicious. My husband had gotten the chicken fried chicken and he loved it. We also shared a basked of fried mushroom as an appetizer and they were fried to perfection. If you wanna add a little more seasoning, they have their own blend of spices you can pick up from the counter. Even as I was sitting down and eating my meal, I was texting my whole family to come and try the Burger Barn. Overall, my experience was amazing.

I havent eaten here in years. Their food was delicious but not so much any more. The food was cold, no seasoning. The buns are too big. They asked if I wanted ice in my drink... Really?! I only got 2 pieces of ice. I asked for well done and my meat was medium well. Too expensive for mediocre food.

Unfortunately a first bad experience. Ordered the nacho cheese barn burger. Got a burger loaded with mustard but no nacho cheese. Brought this to the attention to a service associate who apologized but brought me a bowl of nacho cheese. What am I supposed to do with that? It was supposed to be inside the burger. The associate said I can do what ever I want with it. Not the response I was looking for. Leaves me at a place where I have to think twice if I want to come back.

One of my favorite places to stop and visit. Burgers are always on point and the customer service is Fantastic! Youre able to grab you a seat in a clean indoor area that is comfortably air conditioned or grab you a seat outdoors and enjoy your surroundings. Tvs, music and video games for the kiddos. Theres also plenty of parking!

I was craving a burger barn burger today.My husband and I drove all the way from sugar land. WE waited 30 minutes to get our food ,other people that ordered after us got theirs first. Then when we got our food it was cold,and got the wrong fries and did not get the extra sauce that we paid for.Normally this place is great,never had a complaint. But tonight was horrible!!I am very disappointed and it ruined our dinner,and was not able to enjoy..

We have been coming to this place for years. Its been a while since we have been, so figured we would make a return trip since we have always enjoyed it so much before. What a huge let down! The burgers were much smaller and lacked any seasoning or flavor. In fact, none whatsoever. They literally put a smear of guacamole and pico on my wifes burger and both of ours were over cooked and dry. The fried jalapeños were good but that was about it. If you are a burger place, you best be able to at least do that well. Such a shame because this place was always so good in the past

Was there two weeks ago to pick up Oder. I had one person in front of me of me but I moved to the side to get my order I called in. 4 others came in to order and later a lady came out the back to help, and I said I was picking up. Ordered burgers & fried green beans. Mayo and mustard were really light but might not have noticed, except the meat was too done and dry, and the bun was almost burnt. First time here. I m pretty sure I was given a chicken fried burger I came through the drive thru. Mind you I didn t order ahead, they accommodated me, we re slow.. . Staff wasn t super cheerful but weren t rude. Took my order food came out in about 10 mins. We got an original burger, chili cheese fries, the chicken fried steak. Got home my plate was stacked fries, steak, heap ton of gravy, and a slice of lettuce and tomato in the corner. :/ started slicing into the steak and kept pulling up nothing but batter. When I finally got to the steak , it was just a burger. Fries tasted good but were soggy, I attribute it to travel time. Disappointed to say the least.

The Uber eats meal I ordered was good and very tasteful. For burger and fries I am pleased. Just for future reference when food is being picked up by Uber or any other service. Tape the top of the drink and seal the bag with some sort of seal or tape.

Dont bother with the hotdogs. No better than a gas station dog. Burgers are the main attraction here. They dont try to hide an inferior burger in some fancy, uppity bun. Just tasty patties in a regular bun, as it should be. The only downsides of the place, and they are big ones to me. 1. The bathrooms are one-holers. So, potty before you get there or you will be in line to do so here. 2. They do not filter their water so the tea and sodas taste terrible.

so I really dont like giving three stars. the atmosphere was great the staff is friendly. my baked potato was cooked great not overcooked or burn, the toppings were okay except the brisket was super tough and chewy and it needed twice as much barbecue sauce to taste like anything. my husband got a hamburger which was perfectly fine his fries on the other hand were cold and chewy. its not that hard to put fresh freeze down when somebody orders instead they tasted like they made a big batch and hes had been sitting there for who knows how long.

Stopped here when driving back home from Angleton. We only had the Original burgers, the Flamin Hot Cheetos burger, fries, and onion rings, but we enjoyed every bite. The burgers were excellent - generous meat nicely grilled and fresh veggies on the Originals. The fries were crisp and hot and real onions in nice batter for the onion rings. So glad we skipped the major chains for this place. Decent prices too!

Food was great like always! We ordered the cha-cha burger, blue cheese burger, fried green beans, chili cheese fries, and onion rings. We ordered online and went inside for pickup. There was one associate taking the order for a family when I arrived and the other 3 server/employees standing behind him never acknowledged me. The associate at the register finally asked what he could help me with when he was almost done helping the family. When he finished assisting the family, he put my pickup order together and I was on my way. We will be back.

Ordered nachos and the just looked awful. They pulled sliced sandwich cheese on them and it wasnt even melted. The server told us they did not look appetizing at all and was going to bring a new order. Instead she brought the same plate back, put it on the table and said, I hope this is better for you. When I tried to talk to her she walked away. I ate here often and will never come back.

I used to really like getting lunch here since they have a decent black bean burger. Unfortunately today, I was very hungry and ordered over the phone. I repeated my order multiple times and felt that I clarified that I wanted the veggie burger/black bean burger. When I got back to work, I was disappointed to find a beef patty with bacon on it. I called the restaurant, and the same person who took my order answered and was surprised that I got the wrong burger. I was transferred to another individual, who stated I had to bring the wrong burger back to swap it out. I had to drive back there, off the clock info and wait another 10-15 minutes to get my burger plus the time it took to drive back there. I felt like the customer service was horrible considering I had to prove to them that a mistake had been made and I got nothing out of my time being wasted being off the clock. Unfortunately its an honest mistake and I dont blame the employees at all for this. I usually just get compensated for my time being wasted but I got nothing. I still had to pay for it and I lost 20 minutes of paid time. Im sorry guys but I wont be back. It will be burger king from now on. I loved you guys but now its time to move on I guess.

My overall experience for a first time was not great. Now my only bad experiences was the mannerisms of the employee he really gave me mixed vibes on ordering my food for one. I stood there feeling not welcomed , the employees stood there first then decided to take my order which I didn t like. Then I proceeded to order my food I ordered the 10 lemon pepper wings. They were HORRIBLE they were literally disgusting for as presentation not seasoned at all they put yellow coloring and black pepper. No lemon taste no taste at all. For $18 you would think something comes with like fries celery or even a drink. I believe it s some training needs to be re taught someone didn t get the memo on seasoning foods. Don t recommend those at all.

Waited 47 minutes for food when quoted 25-30 mins, I let the waiter know I was missing the bacon wrapped jalapeños that I ordered and she said she was going to go get them waited another 16 min and she still hadn t brought them. I went to counter to let her know and she then proceeded to tell me that they were all sold out and refunded me so I asked for receipt showing refund and she said system doesn t allow her to print one. I first came here years ago and hadn t been back till today because I live about an hour away. The wings are STILL absolutely delicious! I got the hot lemon pepper wings and asked if they could do a hot garlic parmesan and they were able to! I got the sweet potato fries and they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. My partner got the #1 original burger and he said it was really good. I d totally make the drive out here again. The service was great and kind and friendly. We sat outside and it was so nice. 10000% recommend eating here.

Have driven past this place so many times we finally decided to stop in and check it out. New parking lot too. Saturday afternoon was steady but not crowded. The menu is somewhat overwhelming, in that it is lengthy. The food was good, the service was good and overall it was fine. Wheelchair accessibility: yes accessible.

We had an event to go to at the high school and stopped in for dinner. The restaurant wasnt empty but it wasnt full. There is plenty of food to choose from. My wife said the chicken sandwich had a little too much pepper. My kids and I enjoyed our food, though.

In short its a pricey, just a okay burger joint. Its a really big turn off for me when a burger place doesnt freely give basic accouterments such as lettuce, tomato, pickles. I mean how much does a slice of tomato cost that I cant add it to my kids burger even when I offer to pay a bit more? My children love fruits & vegetables and want a dressed burger but if I want to get them a burger with some lettuce, tomato, & pickle I have to get them an adult combo which is $4 more. Thats too much for basic toppings. Bad move Burger Barn. I also ordered cheddar cheese tots but was given tots flooded in nacho cheese. Thats alright, mistakes happen; but when I told the guy that brought our food he went and read the ticket and fought me on it. I paid for the nacho cheese fries. I ordered cheddar not nacho though. Why would I order something the way that I dont want it? Just apologize for your mistake and get a new order made right. They didnt. Thats bad customer service Burger Barn. Well be driving past this parsimonious place from now on. On a positive, the chili cheese fries that my son ordered were really good with nacho cheese. My wife just didnt want her tots drowned in it.

The young man taking our order rolled his eyes because our kids couldn t make up their mind on what to order.. our oldest ordered nachos and could not eat them. They were literally disgusting. I ordered a baked potato and it was not great at either. I will never come back to this place and I hope for the people that do come that you have better luck than I.

Food was great but it s overpriced, in my opinion. For what I paid, I should have gotten more than a handful of French fries. Bacon cheeseburger was delicious and so were the fries, what few there were. Also, I was overcharged for the grilled mushrooms. Menu on wall indicated .99 per add on but I was charged $1.49. Again, no complaints on the food. It was really good but $14.50 for one bacon cheeseburger combo is ridiculous.

Took 30 minutes for food to arrive at table. Ordered Chicago dog and broccoli cheese baked potato. Dog had sparse toppings and was room temperature. Baked potato was also room temperature to cold in spots and cheese was not melted. We ate the food because hadnt eaten all day. Called over manager to let him know and he was unresponsive, literally stood there. Then said, Well my problem is, yall started eating it, if yall had a problem yall could have brought it back. Never was an apology given and I will never be back here. Try at your own risk!

My husband and I decided to give this place a try on our way back to Houston. I am sooooo glad we did! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted by a young man, Raheim. His big smile and wonderful most genuine sincere and happy attitude instantly made us love this place!!! We loved the hamburgers, fries, and onion rings as well. I was surprised on how big the burgers were :) We re not from Texas but when we come back for my treatments at MD Anderson, we will definitely take the extra 30 minutes to drive here to enjoy another great meal and hopefully Raheim will be working that day :) I hope the owners and manager see what a great employee Raheim is. Even though we are from Oregon and just met Raheim for the first time, we feel like life long friends now. I do want to also add that my father owns 4 different types of restaurants and I know first hand (since I use to run some of them) how hard it is to get such amazing employees. Raheim really stood out and my husband & I feel positive feedback is rarely given but much needed! Great employee & great food!
