Came back for more. We were seated right away and the service was quick. This time I tried the grilled chicken vermicelli instead of the pork, while my boyfriend got the chicken pho. The flavor was really good and the veggies tasted fresh. He enjoyed his dish too. Definitely a place to try if you re in the area and want something yummy.

We were exploring the neighborhood and wanted to find a good viet food go-to place, but this is definitely not the one. Menu is full of non viet style food, like seafood baskets and poo boy sandwichs that you will find at a Cajun food place. That is okay if you are not looking for traditional Vietnamese food. We ordered their number one pho dish on the menu and a rice dish. I must say they are quite pricy and tasted mediocre. Not very satisfying. There are 3 tvs but none of them is turned on. Service was pleasant. But dont think this place made it to our list. Adiós.

My first taste of Vietnamese coffee! WOW! Thatll stay with me for a while! It was my 60th birthday and I had only tried regular coffee for the first time, last year(and not a drop, since)! So, my daughter wanted me to try something different...and it was...very much so! Dont get me wrong; it was very good! Im just not used to it, but if your into that type of thing, please try out this place! The people are wonderful. I was there before lunch and only for coffee (I had a sip, then got tea), but the people around me had food. Large portions and they seemed to really enjoy it! Ill be back to try the food, too. It smelled delicious! Ill probably order tea, again, but ya know what...I kinda want to try the coffee, again, too!

This is my 4th time here and second time I tried something other than pho. I got the catfish plate with added shrimp and calamari, but I didn t really like it all that much. I specifically didn t like the catfish since I didn t finish it and didn t plan on taking it with me either. My wife s steak and meatball pho were amazing though and regret not getting something like it. Honestly, I would recommend getting what they re known for and that pho because it never disappoints. This is the third time trying pho and its the first time I actually loved it. I got the beef and meatball pho with some egg rolls for appetizer. The egg rolls were good and freshly made hot. The pho was honestly super good and healthy with its bean sprouts. I did add some sriracha to the soup to spice it up but its good without it too. The bowl alone fills you up, so much that my wife had to take it to go. The place was super clean and the food was out fast. This probably didnt look right but I honestly was slurping this big bowl just because it was so delicious. Ill come back after its nice and cool outside.

Nice little place not far from Mansfield square . Used to be Uncle Bos for anyone familiar with the area. Good food. I paid $16 for beef Pho with extra noodles and its over 2 servings for me. The only reason my initial review wasnt 5 stars is they gave me all the pho ingredients separately and no way to put it together. Luckily I had a bowl stashed at the office for when I bring soup. I would recommend they add an option for extra bowl or something. Also , i didnt get any peanut sauce for my spring rolls, and honestly I use them as a peanut sauce delivery system. So that was disappointing. Edit: Updated review , been back more than a few times now and I have to say the owners/staff are always super friendly and accommodating, the food is always great.

I tried to give this place a chance, but the best thing I can say is that the decor is ok and it was fast - which gave us enough time to go somewhere else and get a decent meal. The place wasnt very clean, the drinks tasted like dishwater, the pho was bland at best and some of the meal looked so unappetizing that our friend commented it looked like it had already been chewed! I cannot in good conscience recommend this place. Horrible on every level. Youd be better off going to somewhere like Pho Palace in Arlington or just nawwing on cardboard.

recently had the misfortune of visiting Pho Em, and I must say it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant, but I wanted to give it a fair chance. Unfortunately, it failed to meet even the lowest of expectations. To begin with, the ambiance was incredibly lackluster. The interior decor was outdated and shabby, giving off a rather unappetizing vibe. The tables were sticky and the chairs seemed like they hadnt been cleaned in ages. It was not the kind of environment that makes you want to stay and enjoy a meal. Moving on to the service, it was nothing short of abysmal. The staff seemed completely disinterested in their customers. They were slow, inattentive, and downright rude. It took forever for someone to take our order, and when they finally did, they got it wrong. The wait time for our food was ridiculously long, and when it arrived, it was cold and unappetizing. Now, lets talk about the food itself. Pho Em claims to specialize in Vietnamese cuisine, but the dishes we ordered were far from authentic. The pho broth lacked flavor and depth, tasting like a cheap instant soup mix rather than a well-crafted broth. The noodles were overcooked and mushy, and the meat was tough and chewy. It was a far cry from the flavorful, aromatic pho I have had elsewhere. To add insult to injury, the portion sizes were incredibly small for the prices they charged. It felt like they were trying to cut corners by skimping on ingredients. The lack of value for money was apparent, and it left a bitter taste in my mouth. Overall, my experience at Pho Em was a complete disaster. The lackluster ambiance, terrible service, and subpar food all combined to create an unpleasant dining experience. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this restaurant to anyone. There are far better Vietnamese restaurants in town that offer authentic flavors and attentive service. Save your time and money, and steer clear of Pho Em. I honestly felt so bad after that I should have called an ambulance.

If you found this place because you google Vegetable PHO in Mansfield, Run!! Thiss NOT your place! I requested a vegetable pho without noodles and the outcome was very bad!!! Two pieces of frozen broccoli swimming in the veg broth next to a few frozen yellow, orange carrots, 3 pieces of cauliflower and onion. The bean sprouts was the vegetable that make my bowl seems full. Limes clearly were spoiled, anyone with a sense of cuisine knows this kind of limes will make your food taste horrible. Clearly this place dont care about quality food, just sell whatever they have left in the back kitchen and get your money. The basket of shrimps and fish was horrible as well, very dry and old taste. There is no love in the food in this restaurant. What can I say about services? Of course, no better than the food.

The place is very clean , especially the restroom which is important to me. The food has amazing taste however they did not put much noodles / meat in my Pho. It was mostly broth. I would recommend to raise the price to be able to add more noodles/meat. Overall the flavors were perfect and strongly recommend this place l.

However there was not a lot of noodles, and no vegetables. They did bring out the bean sprouts, basil, jalapeños and lemon. Overall underwhelming, it was on my route and thought I d try it since on Sunday I had a great seafood pho in hopes I d gained some experience I guess.

Given how insanely expensive this place is, for WHAT they are serving, this place is probably not worth your time or money, unless you just LOVE flavorless, and seasoning lacking food. The establishment gets TWO STARS from me: One star as required, and an additional star for excellent service. To be clear, the review ONLY loses three stars from the overall food quality, in my opinion, and nothing else. They were very nice, super professional, super fast (obviously bc everything seems bought in and reheated), very respectfully explained why they had such high prices (in comparison to what the menu shows) and thanked us for our order and invited us back. Our order consisted of shrimp pho ($21) tofu noodle plate ($16) and one order, each, of the tofu and the shrimp spring rolls ($12 for both). That s ALL, no drinks, just two mains and two small sides. The total cost, after taxes and a 10% tip (and I usually don t tip on togo orders but the guy was very nice and respectful) was $58.35. That comes to almost $30 per person, which seemed EXTREMELY high, but he explained to me that they had to raise their prices recently, because their supplier raised the prices on all of their fresh ingredients, and hadn t been able to update their menus with the updated pricing, so I paid anyways, expecting amazing tasting fresh food. What we actually got was quite the opposite, unfortunately The pho that my daughter ordered tasted of simply canned broth, how do we know this? Because after we tasted it, upon getting home, and noticing it was VERY bland, we opened a can of broth, warmed it up and tasted them side by side. Identical. My daughter agreed. The tofu we got looked, smelled and tasted of the same stuff that Ton s Mongolian Grill, just one block up Debbie, used to offer for their buffet, before they shut down, which was bought in by an Asian food supplier. The shrimp was frozen, seemed bought in also, as it was rubber and with NO flavor, at all. This only occurs after steaming the shrimp, freezing it after it s been cooked and then reheating it, you can ask any professional seafood chef. There was NO sauce of any kind on the tofu noodle dish that I ordered. Just dry vermicelli noodles, dry tofu and some lettuce, and a few bean sprouts and sliced cucumber. The ONLY difference between my dish and my daughter s, who ordered pho, was she got the flavorless rubber shrimp. Aside from that, there was a bowl of broth, a little bitty cup of hoisin sauce, two small sprigs of basil (instead of the lettuce) and two slices of raw jalapeño for almost $7 more! The spring rolls that we ordered came out as an -identical rehash- of the dishes we ordered, but wrapped in moist rice paper, that s all. Now forgive me for being naive, but I have always known spring rolls to be fried and SUMMER rolls to be raw, but apparently not in Vietnamese dishes, so that s my fault, but if I had known it to be that way, we would have opted for the egg rolls instead, but I like the delicate fried rice paper in everyone else s spring rolls, so we went for those. They were just lettuce, a few bean sprouts and either the bland rubber shrimp or dry flavorless tofu. No spices at all, no flavor, just a small cup of peanut sauce with it. A simple picture or description of fresh , in front of spring, would have tipped me off to the difference. So, needless to say We are NOT fans of Pho Em, but maybe you will be. We prefer Eastern Cuisine that has seasoning and flavor, versus just dry and plain ingredients. And MAYBE the in restaurant dining experience makes the world of difference, but I have tried pho from a place just up north on 157/Cooper St. and it was AMAZING, which is WHY we chose to stop in here on our way to the house, just two short minutes away but this was NOTHING like what we had from their competitor up the way. I wish it was, as I REALLY wanted it to be, but sadly, for me, they fell WAY TOO SHORT to get me back in the doors, ESPECIALLY with the prices being as high as they were.

Wasn t too pleased with our visit today. Egg rolls were way too greasy and tasted like they were made with old fry oil. Son had the grilled fish, was the thinnest slice of fish I d ever seen. Looked more like half a portion than a full one. My wife had the Pho and liked it. I had the grilled pork fried rice and it was not good at all. Way too greasy, had hard pieces of rice in it too, didnt even eat half of it. Service was very poor, only had one other table in the restaurant besides us and nobody came to check on us after we got our food, so it wasn t like they were super busy. Nobody bothered to come by, not ONE time to see how everything was or if we needed anything else. No excuse for such poor service. I had to go get my check, was never asked how everything was or anything. Definitely not worth the money we spent there. Would have been better off going somewhere else. Wont go there again.

This place is NOT kosher. The other commenter isnt Jewish and shouldnt have said that. If you are passing through the area, the far north Dallas area is where youll find kosher restaurants. For the rest of the Metroplex, if you want to eat out and are willing to settle for almost-but-not-quite kosher, you can to go to a vegan restaurant or contact a local synagogue to see if they can make something for you. Chabad is good about that. I think Ahavat Sholom in Fort Worth may do it too. The restaurant in this ad looks really great. I have nothing bad to say about it. But for those who keep kashrut it isnt on the list.

Walked into the empty restaurant to pick up an online order... the Asian guy ( who usually runs the place along with his wife) was on the phone and Never greeted me ONCE! He handed me my order without saying a single word besides reading the name on the order...veryyyyyyyy rude...reevaluate the simple common courtesy of greeting your frequent and PAYING customers Pho em!

Followed them from their Green Oaks location, when they were Pho and PoBoy. Miss some things, this the 4 instead of 5 stars, from over there, but you cant go wrong with any of their dishes. They are all delicious.

This is out ABSOLUTE favorite Pho Spot and we appreciate them soo much for having a DELICIOUS vegetarian option for pho with Vegetable broth for those looking for Halal, Kosher, Vegetarian, or vegan options without skimping on flavor! They always give an abundant amount of veggies, toppings, sauce, broth, and noodles, enough to 2 meals sometimes! They also pack the food extremely well and secured that not a single thing ever spills into the bag when we pick up the order to take home.

DELICIOUS! SOME OF THE BEST PHO I ve had in a very long time. The bone broth was dark and rich in flavor! The meat was great quality and meatballs nice and flavorful. I m so glad Mansfield has this place now. I ve been so disappointed with the pho options in Mansfield. It seems most places around here don t cook their broth long enough to fully get the distinctive pho flavor we all love. That s NOT the case with this place. I WILL be returning here . A lot!

This is my favorite pho place in Grand Prairie. The herbs and ingredients are always fresh and wonderfully prepared. Every time I need a warm, refreshing bowl of pho, I order from Pho Em. Tonight, I apologize, but I ordered 20 minutes before they closed, and the food was as delicious and well-prepared as ever. They always do an amazing job. The broth is always great. Fresh noodles and meat. Egg rolls are crispy and warm. The prices are also very good.

I had the Pork and Shrimp Vermicelli and it was AWFUL. The pork tasted very burnt and the shrimp tasted like chlorine. They do not give you any fish sauce for your vermicelli. This was probably one of the worst places I ve ever ate. My food was so terrible this place doesn t even deserve one star.

I don t rarely leave bad reviews but I have to. I ordered the Shrimp and sausage boil yesterday from here and I was very disappointed especially coming from South Florida. First the food was undercooked. Terrible choice in sausage. The shrimp texture was chalky...which means that the shrimp was not fresh. I m highly disappointed especially that a restaurant would serve this to its clients: I won t be returning. I don t recommend it.

There is nothing not to like about Pho, and Pho Em did a great job for us. Food selection is interesting. Not just Vietnamese dishes (which were fantastic), but also Cajun (which I havent tried yet). Service is friendly. The dining area is quiet, like a lot of places are, but with everybody getting more comfortable going outside again, I hope they stay busy. Id like to go back!

WOW! This place was AMAZING. We ordered through DoorDash and decided to give this place a try for the first time. We ordered their egg rolls, pork spring rolls, chicken fried rice, chicken and sausage gumbo, chicken pho and fried fish and shrimp combo. Literally everything was delicious. Everything was phenomenal but my favorite thing was the fried rice. This place is a 10/10 and we definitely be ordering again!!!

The food is amazing ! However why are the charging 39.99 for a point of snow crab when everyone else is 25-26 dollars a pound . Absolutely ridiculous . I literally called back other places I ve been to to check pricing to see if they all went up and no ... there is no reason for snow crab to be 12 dollars more than everyone . Not cool .

Pho is pretty good. Terrible crawfish. I came on a weekday and the crawfish wasn t fresh. I could tell they microwaved previously cooked crawfish and tossed them in the sauce because some of the crawfish were still cold. Seasoning didn t soak through. Nice owner, but I probably won t be frequenting this place.

I read the reviews and people said how good everything was and they re not lying! Neither am I! My lemon pepper wings were so fresh and tasteful. My boyfriend got the seafood gumbo (I don t like seafood but WOW, that was packed with flavor). Egg rolls were really good too! Can t wait to come back!

I ordered twice from here (thru DoorDash) and none of them got my orders correct. The first time, I ordered veggie spring roll and they served me a whole veggie pho. I was like, ok fine, a pho is not so bad. This time, I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and they served me grilled shrimp. Unfortunately, Me personally do not eat any SHRIMP. I feel humiliated and this is not the first time. I really don t know what s wrong with their serving, either their monitors are too bad or they are just not paying attention to what they are doing at all. I am tired of calling them and tell them what happened and as Asian, me personally do not want to make this sound weird but dear Owner please care for all human especially your Asian friends!! Thanks!!!
