Unless you re a bird, I do not recommend this place. They fill the bowl with lettuce, but then give you the smallest teaspoon of toppings. If it werent for the lettuce, you could fill up a mini bowl of toppings. And don t get me started on the $4 chicken Never again!

Walked in and it was hot and humid like the AC wasn t working. Everything was empty and the lady that replaced the lettuce put the lid of the container that the lettuce came in on the floor. Found a large piece of plastic in my food. Won t be going back

I would like to personally recognize a phenomenal, superstar employee named Genesis at the Mansfield location on Broad Street. Genesis is not just the manager a manager who leads by example; she should be the face and personality of all Salata locations. She has a very warm, inviting and infectious personality which is evident as she greets every single person that walks through the door by welcoming them in. As she rings customers up, she never fails to ask if they would like to add a cookie or drink & tell everyone to have a nice day. It was a such a pleasure to hear her interact with customers. Genesis is a genuine people person & an absolute jewel at this location!

A colleague of mine is a vegetarian and wanted to dine here. I am not a vegetarian and was hesitant but he insisted I go with him. I was pretty skeptical but agreed. The menu choices were more than I expected and it was very good. The portion was large even though I ordered a small (maybe a lunch size, not sure). I had Romaine Heart, tomatoes, cucumber slices, shredded cheese, chicken and crab although the choices were much higher. The service was very friendly and wait time less than five minutes from ordering to dining. I didnt pay so Im not sure how much it was but I would recommend Salata for lunch.

I understand the concept of this place, however, I dont understand the execution. Salads made fresh to order (your choice) and salads made their way. I got three salads that were their recipe. The first two were no issue, mine caused a stir that ended up having 3 workers trying to figure out how to make it. I picked it off of their menu that was posted right in front of me. I actually had to read off the ingredients to the young man who ended up making it. But that was fine, theyre new, no big deal. What was the big deal was the cost. Almost $60 for three salads! What?! I know prices are up right now, but thats ridiculous. The salads were not anything special either. We had to hunt for the meat pieces, dressing was basic (store bought flavor), stingy on toppings. Ive had better and definitely cheaper. This was my first and last time at Salata.

I ve been coming to this locations for some time now and I m always met with the best service. No complaints! The ingredients are always fresh. The restaurant is always clean and welcoming. I am always greeting upon entry, which I love. Genesis always makes sure to greet you with a smile, even if she s assisting someone else. I visited the store for the 1st time a couple of days ago in search for a gift card. Little did I know that they didn t open until 11:00 am. It was 9:20 am. I noticed workers inside through the window so I knocked on the door to get their attention. Despite not being open, they came to the door with smiles and a welcoming demeanor and allowed me to purchase the gift card! Wow - ultimate customer service! I did an online order to save time and I wish I hadn t. I guess they were out of some of my ingredients and no one said anything. I added cabbage, watermelon, avocado, cucumber, broccoli beets, blueberries, jicama, strawberries and apples. My salad had romaine, cabbage, avocado, cucumber and broccoli. Drove all the way back to cedar hill to be disappointed. This was after turning around the first time because they didn t give us the drink for the kids meal. And the kids meal had strawberries and jicama so I m not sure if they used the last on the kids meal or what. Not my first time at a salata but it is my first time at this one so very disappointed I didn t get the normal experience. I recommend going inside and standing in line to monitor them so you can ensure you get what you order.

Me and my wife use to love coming here. When I say this place has went down. It truly has went down. They are running out of items. Cross contamination is crazy. We dont eat dairy and cheese would be mixed in the fruit. I watch them as they prepare the salad and its like they have no care in the world. They be slinging food everywhere. Dressings be sometimes mixed with other Dressings. They truly dont take there time. Not realizing that people can have allergies or diet preferences. Some of the attitudes of those teenagers. The customer service is bad. The old crew there was nice and friendly and took their time preparing your salad and not slinging food over the place. The old crew was also more personal. They recognized the frequent customers. Most of the time knew exactly what you like.

Decent salad for sure. Clean place. But it costed me $42 for 2 small salads. I won t be back.

First time. Clean inside, friendly greeting. You build it the way you want it. Went with the regular and more toppings than you imagine. Very fresh and walked out very happy with our decision to stop in. Will be back.

Updt August 4, 2022 Decided to try again... Ordered a small salad with crab meat, received seafood mix.. and it wasnt even a full scoop of protein (might I add the product has increased in price). In addition I requested the young man not forget my bread of choice twice... I have the wrong protein and no bread.. Im not sure about returning to this store. I wanted to trest myself, but Ive been greatly disappointed. Still waiting to be properly contacted by the company Protein (scoop of meat) over priced.. five chunks of chicken should not be four bucks.

I wish I could say I had a great experience but I cant. I do frequent reviews on every establishment I visit. Im left stunned and disgusted from this visit at the Mansfield location. The 2 stars are for the ingredients and the ONE individual who was attentive and personable. It was my daughters first time here and talk about it being ruined. We were rushed through the line, the bento boxes werent bento boxes, but the small dressing cups with a teaspoon of ingredients in it. I dont believe it would be filling to a 3 year old. We waited patiently in line behind several patrons and thought wed have the same amount of time they had to choose our ingredients, we werent so lucky. Theres definitely not just a shortage of some ingredients but a shortage of personality and customer service. Do better! I do not recommend this location. $30 bucks later and Im left disappointed and disgusted.
