This is a Pickleball Review: Review: Mansfield Activities Center Rating: 72 Review: 25 of 310 DPA REVIEW DATE/TIME: 08/24/2024 1:30 pm no players had arrived. RATINGS: OVERALL 7.2/10 COURT SURFACE- 9.8/10 LIGHTING Good; SPACE between courts 59.6 COURTS: (4) Indoor Poured Urethane and Rubber Sports Flooring Surface. This is one of the best materials used for pickleball. Easy on the joints; consisted bounce and a lot safer if you fall. Ceilings: Excellent on 1 court; Good: 2 courts had basketball goals; Good: 1 court had volleyball net. These courts had many 4.0+ players 2 years ago and one of the best places to play. Gradually they dropped off due to less Open Play time and more places to play. Toddler Time replaced Pickleball Open Play hours. LOCATION: 106 S Wisteria St, Mansfield, TX 76063 phone: 817-728-3680 COST: Yearly membership required: Open Play Free: 8Hr week: M: Beg &Int:12:45 2:45p Adv: 3p-5p; & Fr Beg-Intm 10:30a-12:30p Adv 12:45- 2:45pm. Open play with a fee and reservations required: Wed 6p-9p $5R/$10NR; Sun: N-3pm $5R/$10NR; Tue/Thur 1:30-4:30 $3R/$5NR. PROS: Best indoor floors in town. Nets some are okay some have issues. CONS: OP Free with membership only 8 hours week. No one wanting to pay extra for OP on Tues and Thurs. NOTES ABOUT THIS VISIT: Initially visited in July 2021. The competition skill not available no one there. *The DPA review was my own view, this was based on my visit at that particular time and day. The review might have been different on another day and/or time. Everyone has their own opinion.

The only complain I have is that two young girls (1 Hispanic and 1 white) I dont recall their names on Saturday 9-14-2024 about 2:00 2:30 pm, they both were rude when being asked a question, I almost said something to the Hispanic girl cause she was in the restroom when I was I there, but I held back, their attitudes were horrible. My niece too had to tell her at one point shes not talking to you shes talking to me, because the girl said something to my sister and my sister repeated it to my niece in which the girl butted in and said shes basically telling you what I just said .Do better ladies costumer service isnt your thing!

I rented a park pavilion and had a really great experience! Booking was super easy. I had to extend my booking, and it was taken care of quickly and easily. Eric, from the parks dept was there when we got there. He went above and beyond to provide very helpful pavilion rental details to me, and ensure the area was clean and ready to go, since this was my first time renting anything. It was a great experience and I highly recommend renting facilities with Mansfield Activities Center!

First time kayaker and the Kayak 101 class they offered was awesome. Great pace for newbies and the leaders were patient and really enjoyed what they were doing. Looking forward to doing more with the MAC.

Our VBS group of 4th and 5th graders visited Oliver Nature Park for a naturalist led expedition. Tara was very knowledgeable and great with the kids! Tiffany answered many questions about setting up the activity and was exceptionally helpful and prompt in her replies to my questions. Many thanks for helping the kids have a great experience!

Mansfield activities centre is a fine place to visit as well participate in various activities organised by the centre.Activities include dance class for children, yoga classes, various exercise for adults and many others. All facilities are good.Staff members are helpful.

We came to get a family membership to put my toddler in ballet and possibly other activities but the lady at the front desk was acting like she didn t understand why we wanted a family membership. I was saying I may as well pay $50 vs $39 now and more later in case my other 2 kids wanted to do something later down the road but in the end just left due to her vibes and attitude. I just don t understand why she was against us getting a membership and why she was acting the way she was. Our family will just drive the few extra minutes to Arlington to not be treated that way.

i am a former kids zone kid. i am 15 now, so i ve graduated from it, but i d still like to share my story of it. i went for 3 years or so. i was constantly teased for my interests, overall personality, and my tourette s by kids younger, older, and the same age as me. one including a counselor in training. it happened multiple times in front of counselors, i believe, who did nothing to help me. i was told how i was weird for liking a certain thing or how a tic is just a bug, not something you can do. definitely not a fun experience for me. otherwise the MAC is a decent place to exercise or take classes, just watch out for kids zone.

My family likes the kayaking trips both in Britton Park and Lake Arlington. Chad Etheridge, the instructor, showed us how to handle the paddle and move through the water. All three of the naturalists were very informative pointing out the various birds and animals. We look forward to the next trip.

This is a well maintained facility with a cordial staff. Unfortunately, Mansfield has built a facility insufficient for the community. There is only one basketball court that is required to host basketball, volleyball and all other activities throughout the week. There are too few meeting/exercise rooms to accommodate all of the potential functions and no exercise equipment. In short, the building is underutilized due to lack of space.

The manager was rude and instead of her conversing with us about the gym not being available she was talking to her employee in a disturbing manner. Their whole establishment and employees has changed over the last year. I will not be renting from them ever, again! They do not make it a warm and welcoming environment. You can even get a smile. The employee walked straight up with a stiff face, asked for my membership card, and what day I wanted to reserve. A simple smile or greeting would be nice! Fire the whole crew.

I attended church on Sunday morning in one of the rooms that was provided for a good pastor friend of mine. Its wonderful that theyre allowed to use this facility on Sunday mornings to have service and worship according to their faith. Thank you Mansfield, youre a great City!
