They expedited electronic lists of locations and properties that appealed to my needs and desires. This information was updated daily and often at the moment any new listing landed that matched our search. I will have to admit I was very difficult to please due to my ever-changing thought process on the ideal property for my family, but that came as no challenge for Brooks and team. He is very knowledgeable about the Dallas area, about different types of homes/townhomes and about what to watch out for as a first-time buyer. I think it s very unique and efficient for Chad Smith having two realtors working together as a team with buyers. Ron and Brooks work as a good team, very responsive and knowledgeable. Both guys are very professional with good personality. I found it impressive and super helpful when Brooks gave a presentation with big data, showing the market and how to make decisions of buying a house in a very unbiased way. Over the purchasing process, they also provided valuable information on home inspections, mortgage suggestions now and for the future, and investment advice with great vision. Brooks Sommer is by far the best realtor I have ever worked with. He went above and beyond for my husband and me. We had been working with a realtor for 8 months and had zero luck after submitting over 10 offers. This market was beating us down. I decided to google and came across Chad Smith and Brooks. He met with us the next day and got right to work. We ended up purchasing a home off market. He helped us contact the current owner and come up with an offer that would convince them to move. Brooks helped us negotiate the deal and get the home of our dreams. After that when the deal was done, Brooks stayed on to help us as the old owners had a 60 day lease back. Brooks took time out of his busy schedule to be the middle man and handle all communications. I was so nervous about a lease back and Brooks eased those worries and helped us every step of the way. Jeanna and the rest of the Chad Smith team are absolutely amazing! My husband and I just closed on our first home this morning and we are kind of in shock. We are both Veterans and we have been looking at buying a home since moving back to the DFW area in 2020. We had several realtors contact us but never once did any of them put in any effort to walk us through any of the crazy process of buying or to even show us a home until we met Jeanna. The second that zillow connected me to Jeanna she was calling me, asking what we needed, what were our questions and what she could do to help. She is the only realtor we came across that made it a clear goal to get us into a house. Where do I begin? Cody started off being a great realtor but I felt that I had to do most of the house searching. Cody lied to me and did everything he could to just make a sale and not lookout for the best interest of his client. We found out that some major things were not put on the sellers disclosure and we asked him for his advice and he stated that there was a good chance of loosing my earnest money, which was not true after speaking with an attorney. We were asked to lease back the property to the seller for 7 days and make them pay a $1.00 deposit. We expressed our concerns with Cody and he stated that, that was the norm and that there is no need to worry and that he has never seen an issue arise with a lease back and that if anything is damaged during this time he and his team chad smith team will take care of it. 7 days later we do the final walk-through and find that there was BB s shot in a wall, someone urinated all down a bathroom wall, trash scattered throughout the property. We confronted Cody with the issues during the walkthrough and all he could say was he would not let his kids get away with that if they did that. Nothing about helping to fix this issue. Since that day we have yet to hear from him. He got his money and we were left to pick up the pieces. Is this what you would expect from a $400,000 home? This was not in the condition when we first saw it. Thanks for the dollar deposit. UPDATE** this was not a foreclosure.

Our realtor was Brooks Sommer. He made our whole process of our first time looking for a house so wonderful that we weren t intimidated or confused. He was extremely helpful as were his associates. He would answer all of our questions even if they were weird or extremely specific. He didn t just want to sell a house, he wanted us to find the right house and a house that would suit us. If he thought one wasn t right or something was wrong, he would let us know. He wanted us to be happy with our choices and we definitely are.
