When I compare the food to other Mexican restaurants, it just didnt quite add up. I am not saying it was bad, but didnt wow me. Service was also lacking a bit. Everyone was working but did not seem happy to be there. Very few smiles. Might be a place I try again if someone else wanted to go but not somewhere I would go out of my way to frequent.

Our favorite place for Mexican food in the Mansfield area. We usually split an (order for one) of chicken fajitas, and often take meat home. Very generous serving for the fajitas. Love the red sauce for dipping their fresh, warm, crisp chips -- just enough kick to make it interesting, but not so hot that I cant eat it. Friendly, competent servers.

Upon arrival hostess and manager did not honor our reservation for 10 at 6pm. Was told they don t take reservations, just call ahead. Then why did they accept my reservation to begin with! Then attempted to seat us at a corner booth for 6 and reluctantly said they would add a table. Then refused to seat us because we were missing 1 from our group. . We politely asked that said table that was added to be wiped down due to being very sticky , they declined and manager came to debate that it was the finish of the table, I did say, good grief enough you win! Her reply is . We don t allow that kind of behavior! Luckily our Server Patricia was great. 10 of us will not be going back.

We love this place! Great options even if youre on the Keto diet. Vegetarian options: You can get lots of meatless things here... definitely not vegan though. Dietary restrictions: They are great about accommodating for allergies or dietary preferences. Parking: Some limited parking in the front, but more in the back. Excellent tequila. Fun waitress. Good delicious, albeit smaller servings than other places, but still totally ample enough for take home box. I highly recommend the beef fajitas for two. My second time to dine here. Both times we great! Best Mexican food I have had in a long time. The chips and salsa are great. We had chicken enchiladas and chicken grande burrito. Highly recommend the Guerrero sauce on everything! This is our new go to Mexican food place. We live 30 minutes away and will gladly make the drive everytime.

Great service. Awesome happy hour if you like margaritas. No Taco Tuesday special unfortunately. My wife got the Street tacos and the steak inside was super soft. I got the lunch fajitas(chicken). They rejected my service dog, we went in to eat and a server said that the dog was not allowed. We said that it s a task trained service dog as per the sign at the door which states that service are allowed. Then, the manager said no that service dogs were also not allowed which is ridiculous as that is illegal. My mom was there with me and said that service dogs are not pets and are allowed by federal Law which overrides a restaurant rule. And if they don t allow service dogs then why is the sign at the door? The manager said that they will change it and refused to let us in. What the restaurant did is illegal and discrimination to the disabled community which NEEDS service dogs.

Food and service were great. We really enjoyed it. - it was 53 degrees outside on the day we went. They had the AC blowing and ceiling fans going. It was brutally cold and this caused us to speed up our meal - we went into survival mode. Most customers had coats on. Personally I don t prefer fans overhead when I m eating - I want my food hot. Restroom was clean, 100% with purse hooks in stalls and all supplies.

I want there for lunch. I liked the menu that I read before I arrived. I wanted some good tacos, like the ones from California, where I used to live. I also make good homemade tacos. The description of the tortillas waslightly fried. I thought they were homemade. I ordered the taco dinner that includes 3 beef tacos, rice and beans. Red salsa was delicious. I was disappointed that the tortillas appeared to be the store bought, pre made ones, like Ortega. Other tan that, it was tasty. Could have used more cheese. Ill keep looking for the perfect tacos.

So tried this place had only been open about a month. Love Mexican food looked the food up and saw nothing but good things so we went. Customer service was great when we walked in but same thing our server didnt seem to be to thrilled we were there and wasnt much help woth questions about the menu. Come with free chips and salsa one salsa roja one salsa verde then one with serranos but they all just tasted very sweer and blah. We both tried the sopes and they had a choice of fajita(F) and or ground beef(GB) and you could mix and match 3. I got 2 F one GB and my bf got all 3 F. They looked amazing and the ground beef one turned out to be amazing but the sopes shells were just so big compared to the amount of meat and for 17 dollars I think you should at least get your moneys worth. The rice and beans didnt have much flavor and came out cold. We ordered drinks a large beer was 11 dollars and a peach margarita was 10 with a dollar off for HH. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL

I love this restaurant maybe more than I should. I have never gone to a restaurant multiple times a week. I have never ordered take out from a restaurant. But I will do both from here. The food never disappoints, the salsa is amazing and their mixed drinks are always great as well. Their salsa is actually spicy.. most places we go to don t have spicy salsa served with chips. Their green salsa is also very tasty. Adding a couple drops of the red salsa in the rice is to die for. The waitress even recognized me the last time I went in, thinking we went to school together. Love that, but no we didn t go to school together; I m just always here! Haha This place is so worth your time. Vegetarian options: Almost every time I go to this restaurant, I go with two people who do not like meat but that isn t too much of a problem for them. There are a handful of dishes they can get or alter by one ingredient to be perfect. Parking: Plenty of parking, restaurant located on a shopping strip. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids with families here all the time.

The first time, the chips were mostly small pieces. The food was delicious!!! We had such large plates that we took some home, our friends with us took home some of their food as well. We havent been to Mama Cucas in a while. We used to come all the time when they first opened, our son loves their tortilla soup, but hes grown and lives in another part of the state. But we decided to try it again, for a Friday night, we didnt wait long for a table. We had chips and salsa and were greeted by our server within the first few minutes of getting seated. If they ask you if you want the green salsa, its good, but it is spice-eeee. We ordered Tacos de Mexico, Chicken enchiladas, a flauta, Fajita nachos, and the tortilla soup, and the food was out in record timing, less than 10 minutes, and it was all fresh and delicious. We saved room for dessert, my husband had sopapillas, and I had the pecan pie. I know what youre thinking pecan pie at a Mexican restaurant? YES and it was delicious, they bring it out and prepared it at our table on a hot skillet plate with ice cream, caramel drizzle and something else that is super yummy, it was probably milk but who cares it was delicious!!! Its one of those dishes that everyone orders after they see the first person get it. One lady was staring my pie down, and I thought I was going to have to fight her over it. Since we had sopapillas, we dipped those in the sauce made by caramel drizzle. Thank you, Mama Cucas, for the great ending to my work/school week.

It was simply smashed Avocado w a few pieces of tomato on top. No onions, no lime juice, no peppers, no salt. I cant understand why they failed so miserably on something so simple. Today we stopped by Mama Cuca s for lunch and margaritas with friends. Located in a small strip mall off Cooper Street. Inside was super clean, but really dark. Larger inside than I thought from the street. Immediately greeted by the hostess stand, sat promptly. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly. Attentive, but not overbearing. I ordered the street tacos and the hubby ordered chicken poblano. Both excellent. Seasoned and cooked well. The corn tortillas are homemade and delicious. We also ordered the stuffed jalapeños for the table, chicken and cheese. These were fine. Excellent salsa and chips. Even the mild had some kick. We will definitely eat here again!

We are regulars here. I love the family environment. This is our top place to go because of the employees. You walk in they know you. You feel like family. Ive had a baby shower, hosted a graduation party and many family birthdays. Great food, drinks. Vibe. The kids enjoy the kids menu! We love the tacos de mexico with fresh cilantro and onions! On weekdays they have $2 off margaritas until 7pm! Thursday they have $3 margarita!

I was expecting better. The food was okay, about average for a Mexican restaurant. The dining room was wide open and between other diners and music playing was very loud. It didnt help that the AC was out, but this was my second time being at the restaurant (months apart) and they had a similar issue that time too.

Great Service...even better food. Only thing that needs improvement is the salsa (not great) and the pecan pie was overpriced at $11.50 for a small piece. The place is pricey, but definitely the best Mexican food in Mansfield. Sorry ChaChas
