Love, Love, Love this super awesome place! Weve been eating here since I was 7 and their food is just as great now as it was then. There is always someone greeting us at the door, chips on the table within minutes and a friendly server that knows what they are doing! My mom and I split the Mexican pizza and it is so so so good and the chips and salsa are the best! Can I give it 10 stars*****! I will always recommend Cha Chas to anyone who asks where they should eat, and the hostesses are amazing!

Update 8/27/2024 The menu prices have exceeded my Tex-mex budget. I m tapping out. Food is still great, service and everything else is good too. $6 for 1 sopapilla. SMH. Update: 10/2020 we have returned and it s better. The meat is real meat! Everything s back to normal. Good Tex Mex food. Somethings happening... I have eaten at Cha Chas many times over the years. Most of the time its great, however tonight I noticed a change in the food. Particularly the meat and avocados. The meat was reddish pink. Not raw red, but reddish like it came out of a can. It tasted and smelled like it came out of a can also. Very.... essence a la ALPO . The avocados did not taste fresh either. They tasted oit of a bag preserved with fruit fresh or whatever it is they use to keep avocados from turning dark. Advice to Cha Chas: Dont go down the cheap route. Charge a little more, we will pay it. We get it, costs are high. I think most people would pay up a little for good quality beef instead of going the canned pre-cooked SYSCO truck route. Theres already a ton of places we dont go to because they taste like the SYSCO Truck. I hope yall dont end up on our No Go list.

Food: 5 stars. 3 leches: 0. Excelent service by bartender. Soup and appetizer were great, but no the Tres leches cake. It is the worst cake I have ever had. Dry with burned edges, & very expensive. Very disappointed with dessert. Do not waste your money ordering Tres leches at Chachas. Everything else good.

The food was horrible the drink menu is horrible the service was horrible (not because of the waiter but because she had the whole bar area including the bar)! Whenever we are in the mood for a good empanada we know that we can count on Cha Chas. My go-to empanada, is the the ground beef with cheese the, puff pastry is absolutely delicious. As an appetizer, we generally start with the nachos which are yummy if I may say so. Unfortunately, I cannot provide a rating on the beans and rice because the empanadas are so filling, and there really isnt much room remaining for those items. This restaurant is very affordable and worth a try plus you get a lot of food for your money.

First time Ive tried this place and quite frankly i was not a fan what so ever . Wanted to try it because my partner had recently came here for her first time with a friend. She had the empanadas which was filled with meat smh is why I even wanted to come today . Had the empanadas a spit of meat, wished I would have took a picture but unfortunately did not . I was pissed havent had no food all day,why just why put a pinch of meat. Sorry not sorry but, I left an went to abuelos in Arlington the best food ever hands down. I have never been to a restaurant where the service, the food, and the wait where all on point. But Cha Chas hit the mark, our server was outstanding, brought us condiments and refills of drink and chips with out needing to be prompted. The food was infant of us in no time at all and it was delicious! I am definitely going to be making this one our regular stop for Mexican food!!

First time customer, first impression good nice atmosphere. I noticed the next table got tortillas and we did not, turns out by reading other reviews we are to ask for them. We had the sour cream chicken enchiladas and that was ok. The fajitas enchiladas were not what I expected, barely any fajita and the cheese was like government cheese brand not good at all. The fajita was cut into little bits and I could literally counts the pieces not much. The beans and rice salsa and chops were ok . The waitress didnt check on us and seemed like she had an attitude no smile. Very disappointed too many other mexican restaurants to go to waste my money there.

Cha Chas is our weekly go to for Mexican food. Their newest new dish is Bierra tacos. Delicious slow simmered beef in a beautiful spicy brother made into gorgeous tacos with corn tortillas with cilantro and onions. Charro beans and rice and of course delicious broth served for dipping the tacos in. YUM

Wasn t the greatest Tex mex. My top shelf margarita tasted solely like margarita mix. Shrimp had a boiled vibe vs sautéed. My steak was two 1/4 thick steak tips. The food was barely seasoned. The queso tasted like melted velveeta. Our waitress checked on us once didn t ask if we wanted any dessert or anything just brought our bill. Overall not a fan.

Food was GREAT...try the fajita enchiladas. Service was quick and attentive which is always a good thing. This place use to be so good but it s definitely gone down sadly. The waiter was over worked and didn t really attend to us, was all over the place with the receipts to pay at the end. Over charging and then changing it I usually go for the sour cream chicken enchiladas but they don t taste the same at all. Now one good thing still is the homemade tortillas, they are still delicious. But it was worth giving it one last try. Will not be back unless I get the flour tortillas to go.

Every time we are in the Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington area, we hit Cha Chas. Great food, great service. And the food comes out quick, before you can finish your chips and salsa. Honestly, there were no complaints about the restaurant, I gave this rate because Ive been to better. The shrimp here is great! The enchilads and chips and hot sauce are not. All this is, in my opinion. I have been here over a handful of times bc my friend who loves it offers to pay, lol. The server each time has not ever been real talkative. They stick straight to the script and keep it just about serving us. The music is not too loud and the bar is totally separate from the restaurant seating, which I love!

An alright, pretty okay spot. Im not the biggest fan of Tex-Mex and prefer authentic Mexican so Im a bit biased but Ill give credit where its due. Portions are smaller nowadays and fajitas dont come out as hot as theyre supposed to anymore. Food in general, while tasty enough, is lacking a bit of the sparkle it used to. The in-house fresh tortillas however are absolutely the star of the show. So good! I typically prefer corn tortillas and dont like flour all that much, but Cha Chas flour tortillas are an exception. Cocktails taste watered down though. Ive had Margaritas & other bar cocktails (last time was a Sex on the Beach) and they arent really the best cocktails in the world, but not the worst either. Service was nice, attentive waiters and they never let us run out of chips and salsa (which are also quite delicious in their own right). Regardless, Id still say the tortillas & chips and salsa are really the only standouts. Everything else is mostly a B for quality. Its a Mansfield area landmark though and its been around here for ages, so might be worth checking out just for that or if you like Tex-Mex.

This place has great food. Their salsa is amazing. You can ask for Green Sauce. (Salsa with a kick.) Most employees have worked here for a really long time. Only reason I give it a 4 is because there is one employee who is newer and she is pretty rude. She is very short with you like you are not important and on her time. Very disappointed. Came here after not having been for a few years and was surprised at how bad it still is. We ordered fish tacos, taco salad, and fajitas. The only good thing was the rice and beans. The chips tasted like cheap packaged chips, the taco salad only had bits of lettuce, and the fish tacos were so unflavored and dry, there was no sauce that even came on them... The toppings were excessive and contributed to the dryness and lack of flavor in the taco so im not sure why they were even on there. I asked for a sauce and was given a chipotle mayo that also had almost no flavor. I have never had a dry fish taco that didnt have some sauce or pickled vegetables or flavored slaw. This place was extremely disappointing!

Our daughter brought us here about 2 years ago and we love it! The queso with meat is outstanding! Good food and wonderful staff. Definitely our go to place for Mexican food

Did not Appreciate the chuck roast fajitas, and dont use canned tomatoes for salsa... And the ice yall use for margaritas is freezer burnt.. on a goodnote the flour tortillas are always on point and the banana bread is good to go

WOW, I always wondered if this place was good- It is! Rare occurrence these days; they also have great customer service. The most tender fajita meat youll ever eat- can cut it with a spoon. Fair prices as well.

We didnt have a long wait for two. The place was busy as usual. Our waitress was friendly, funny and on point. Parking: Alternative parking in the area when the lot is full Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of space for a wheelchair

The food here is really good. Had their 3 enchilada plate and it was one of the best tasting enchiladas I have had in a very long time. The salsa isnt the best, but the rest is worth going for again. Our server took amazing care of us. They have at least 2 new customers that will keep coming!

Food and service were wonderful, we had the flaunts, empanadas(these are huge), and chimichanga. The chips and salsa were very good, and I even bought some to take home.
