We stopped by during happy hour ahead of a concert in town. Our bartender, Mitch, was attentive and detail oriented. We didnt eat food, so I cant speak to that, but the menu sounded great. This is a fun little spot that is hidden away and the passcode can be found by following The Plaid Rabbit on Instagram.

Mitch is a serious mixologist and this place is the vibe. Cozy but demure, warm but bright. Not sure my photo did it justice.

My boyfriend and I went out to this place yesterday evening for my 21st. It was so wonderful! From the moment we stepped in, the customer service was excellent. I would like to thank Rex for her outstanding intro and guide into the bar. It truly made the experience more exciting. The drinks were so amazing. I ordered cocktail and a margarita. Loved the fruity taste of them. The food was amazing! We ordered the duck flatbread and the burger. Great job to the chef that evening for making both of those wonderful entrees. Kudos to the excellent bar tenders:) They brought a cake out for me and sang happy birthday which was wonderful. This was one of the best birthdays I ever had. We will definitely be coming back

Worst experience Ive had at a bar ever. This past weekend, my girlfriend and I went out with her sister and boyfriend to celebrate the sisters birthday. We didnt complain when we entered the bar, and literally most of the empty tables there had dirty drinks all over them, we found the best semi clean table we could find then when we got our menus the girl that attended us gave us 3 menus when clearly she could see we were 4 guests. Ok, no big deal, my girlfriend spotted a menu at one of the dirty tables for me to grab. We ask if we can order some food cause we saw a guy in the kitchen area, we were told it wasnt available anymore which is understandable, if you want food you have to go early. When we got our drinks, the girls drinks were not mixed properly and when they took their first sip they said it was hella strong, then as they kept drinking it got better, again didnt complain cause this night was about having fun. My drink, the presidente, tasted bad. Again, no complaints because this is about giving the sister an experience (she had never been to a speakeasy). But because I didnt like the drinks I simply asked for our tab, came out to be $30+ for my girlfriends and I, which I was happy to pay, heck I even got charged extra for paying with a credit card. But the straw that broke the camels back; the girl that made our drinks had the audacity to come over to our table. The sister was tasting my drink cause I was struggling to finish it and she made a face when taking a sip, cause it was bad, but when the girl asked how our drinks were we didnt complain cause we are above disrespecting someoneswork. My girlfriend simply said itll get us drunk so its ok. Then this girl said well we work hard to make these drinks, we do not deserve to be only tipped 26 cents.... like seriously? If you want to demand money get a better job, ask for a raise (the owner sure is getting paid well for these $15 drinks), heck maybe start by doing your job properly. This is gratuity, you dont deserve a darn thing especially after everything we went through. This was highly embarrassing, but guess what, we didnt complain cause we were not about to get into an altercation on this special occasion. We simply didnt answer her request and walked out. However, I had to write this review to warn people of this bar!!!!!!!!! P.S. we went to Ricks afterwards which is literally down the street. It is very roomy (thats one thing i didnt like about the speakeasy, good decorations but too cramped for my liking), clean place cause their waiters constantly walk around to get the dirty cups much better drinks and at a better price, then they have live music to top it off. Go there, thank me later Yes, they got a nice tip there for doing a good job, which they earned but didnt demand.

Pretty neat little speakeasy. Be sure to follow them on Facebook to find out the passphrase to get in. The drink I had was good, the service was ok, and the atmosphere was interesting. I have to say the bathroom was wild, as weird as that may sound to talk about when describing a bar. Its definitely worth checking out!

LOVE this hidden gem. Stopped by for cocktails and a light dinner. The atmosphere here is fantastic - great vibe, good music, and excellent service and attention by Micha and KJ. The craft cocktails are truly that and were all spot on. We all had the gatsby burger which I would recommend 100%!!! Also did a flatbread as a started and it was solid as well. Highly recommend a stop here when in downtown Tyler.

Not recommended if you re looking for a place to enjoy good cocktails AND a conversation. We were seated by a particularly loud and obnoxious group. When I asked the bartender if this was typical, his reply was not always, but these folks were regulars . Great drinks, but sadly we couldn t enjoy due to the literal screaming two feet away. Disappointing for a so-called speakeasy.

Place was all right. Entrance was interesting. For a speakeasy bar, the only thing separating this from a regular bar was the secrecy. Knew what I was getting In to, so 5 starts, but personally a 3 star. Music is low, service is great, just the fact that its pretty basic for a speakeasy.
