Yall please please be careful with this location. They re-fry old chicken. They have been doing this a lot. I worked in the food industry and can tell when chicken has been dropped twice. Right below the skin it is very chewy and it is very very greasy. I have given this location too many chances. THEY ARE DISGUSTING for doing this. As much as you guys charge everyone deserves for the chicken not to be dropped in the grease twice!

They have forgotten The fact that it is the customer that keeps them in business. Im seeing a very consistent theme here, and that is their drive-thru to follow through is horrible. And the funny thing is its a franchise location so you would think the owner would be concerned about how the customers are treated seeing as though he or she invested in this franchise. This is the third day in a row Ive gotten bad fish from them but Ive given them more than one chance to correct it the first day I asked for fresh fish they said it would be when I received it you could tell it was old fish that was just dropped again and Grease. When I called the manager on duty out on it he said you got me we did drop it to try to make it hot for you but that is not the best way to do it. He did offer me a drink while I wait another 15 minutes in total I ended up being there for 30 minutes when it was supposed to be a fast encounter because it is fast food. Received The replacement it was good but not as good as normal. I left came back the next day tried it again as for fresh fish they gave me this fish that was so hard you could barely break it in half. It was really hard. After waiting 10 minutes in drive-thru. Got the fish drove back around told them the fish was hard she apologized asked me if I would pull up while they remake it told me it would take 7 minutes well it took 13 minutes when the gentleman came out he didnt even offer any apology or a drink or anything for the inconvenience. I got home the fish looked fine but then I tasted the fish it had no flavor it tasted like cardboard so I called. The young lady was so kind she was the manager on duty and she said dont worry about bringing the fish with you this time because youve already been extremely inconvenience if you want to try to season it and make it better since were about to close. Just bring your receipt tomorrow and will remake it fresh and even throw some extras in there for the inconvenience. On my way home from the airport I called I got the district manager I didnt believe it was him because prior to him telling me his position he was basically telling me that I was just trying to get over on them and they cant just give away the house no matter what the previous manager had told me he was not going to honor that I told him he didnt have to worry about honoring it because if he is a representation of what that franchise owner wants I dont want any parts of Chicken Express and I will tell several thousand members in my business to not go to that location. What a horrible horrible addition to the Mansfield community.

I sat in drive-through for 10 minutes. Got to the window paid for my order waited an additional 10 minutes. Finally someone came to the window and charged me for my order and I just sat there. Then another person walked up to the window and said what do you want? I said I m waiting on my order. They ran around looking and blaming each other and finally a female comes back and tells me, sir we gave your order to the car behind you, if you want it still you ll have to wait fifteen minutes and l can give you a free tea for waiting . I told her no problem. Can you pull forward she ask. I sat there patiently for nineteen minutes watching other customers (8 cars pull up and leave) and no one acknowledged me. Finally, after waiting for twenty five minutes total l had had enough. I knocked on the door and a young man came to the door and again for the second time l was ask what do you want? What happened to how can I help you? He went inside and another employee came out. We talked about what happened and all was going well until she said to me it is not my fault the employee gave your food away . And l said like wise. I asked who are you. She said l am the manager. Two thumbs up to her for recognizing and trying to make it right. She apologized.

So I placed an order in the drive thru . An order that I had to pull up and wait 8 minutes for. I had no problem doing that because they ensured me that the livers that I waited on and the rest of the food would be fresh. I drive all the way home and there s no corn on the cob in my bag. I call back to speak with Jasmine (manager??). She says, You can come back to pick up the corn . Nothing offered for my inconvenience of them getting the order incorrect . Wasting my time and my gas! Mind you it s 9:30 at night! What happened to customer service?

Was at this location about a week ago and the tenders were like refrigerated cracklings. The prices are too expensive for nugget sized tenders that resemble cracklings. Don t go to this location. Save time, money and just go to raising canes. I called the store to complain and was told I could get 25 percent off next order. There will definitely not be a next time.

Tenders very very small almost the size of nuggets. Went right after they opened and okra was fresh but gravy and (very small) tenders were dry and cold. How is that possible 15 minutes after you open? To top it off, trying to charge $.50 per dipping sauce is outrageous when you can go to Chick-fil-a and they give you 3-4 dipping sauces without even asking for extra. Save yourself some time and just go to Canes across the street or Chick-fil-a where the food is fresh and the dipping sauces are FREE.

I am disappointed every time I came to the location. I keep giving them chances after chances. I went through drive thur and a young lady took my order was friendly but my order was old dry tenders a #1 but I had to wait 10-15 minutes for them to make me some fresh tenders. So what I m getting that if you a person who works at this location and you go to a restaurant to order some food, would you like it if your food was cold old or dry? So the next time you pay over $10 for one meal think about it. Money is hard to come by, and we would like to enjoy our food. For how much we spend for it.

Chicken Express is located in Mansfield off of E Broad, serving up the community hot and crispy fried chicken, strips, and plenty of sides to choose from! I came here on a weekday and placed an order to go and was in and out in seconds. I was properly greeted by the staff with a smile, and he let me know to order when ready. I told him I had a pick up, and within 5 seconds, a beautiful sack that was packaged well laid beneath my eyes. I have never eaten at this place before, but I sure am glad I did. Not only do they have fried chicken, tenders, and fried fish, but they also provide some of the best choices of sides as well. They have fried gizzard, liver, hushpuppies, fried pickles, fried okra, and plenty more!! As for the chicken, it was fried golden brown to perfection, and it was definitely crispy! The batter was a little different and unique from the typical fried chicken spots, but I wasnt complaining about it because it sure was tasty, and the fried chicken skin was the star of the show! The fried pickles were delightfully tangy, and the biscuit was fresh and flakey! Ill definitely be back in the future for more fried chicken and branch out to try the fried fish and hush puppies with maybe some corn nuggets and Mac n cheese!

Employees were too busy playing around to take our order. Once they finally came to the counter, he was extremely rude and would not listen. Ordered the 25 tender family meal which took almost 30 minutes. Got home, 20 minutes away, only had 15 tenders. Mashed potatoes but no gravy at all and fry box was less than half full. For $60 bucks I expect better! Next time we will do Olive Garden or TX Roadhouse to go. It would be cheaper and faster.

Ok. Heres the low down on this place. The food is fresh. The staff are young and just do not listen. They left off part of our order. I had to get out of my car without shoes on to go back to the drive thru door to get seasoning packets that I asked her to please make sure to give us. We had to wait(pull forward) for five minutes just to get the food that we didnt even get our order on. Best advice: check your order before because thats not these kids job! Their job is to text on their phones and chat it up with other employees.

The WORST establishment I had ever experienced. Gave it two tries and both failed terribly. Gravy was runny as milk, Gizzards and livers are always overcooked. And don t bother coming 15 before closing, they ll refuse service and tell you their kitchen has closed. Staffs are run by high school kids, or act like so. After the decent interaction while ordering my food, the service went downhill. The drive-thru team member was room temperature at best, and the manager may need some soft skill training because it appears that me having to wait on my food bothered her. When we got home we did not have the mashed potatoes and gravy so we called and spoke to the manager I believe the name was Keith he asked if we were coming back to get it and we said no so he said multiple times as though we were not being truthful that we must have the receipt in order to come and get the mashed potatoes and gravy then said he would only honor it for 5 days! So the staff screwed up our order and now we only have 5 days to swing by and pick up what we have already paid for! This was horrible customer service and this manager needs some serious training with how to handle customer complaints not even once did he apologize for their error and really did not offer anything in return!

Ordered 2 4pc Chicken tender combos, a cherry pie and reg order of okra. $26. xx. Are you serious???? $26 for single combo meals? The chicken was dry, the okra was cooked in old grease, the coke was handed to me in my car dripping coke from side of cup (rude) and coke was flat. I took one meal to a patient in the hospital right down the street...she ate the hospital food. Told me to take her tender meal home to the dogs....dogs wouldnt even eat it.

Drive-thru order placed to deliver 20 minutes away to someone who was ill. After delivering the food, was advised It was not what was ordered and paid for, it was an incorrect order. Had to drive to another location and re-purchase food. When I Returned the incorrect food to the Mansfield No offer was made to Correct the order. When I then requested a refund-I was advised they do not give receipts showing the purchase was refunded. Total inconvenience when it could have been avoided. At least apologize to the customer for your error. Very poor customer service-at the very least, you could have apologized and offered to make the order right.

I watched and waited for the clerk to give me my food at the drive thru . She was not in any hurry . I had a line behind me and I waited awhile . Couldnt get her attention because their window isnt patron friendly . It is covered by a poster ....

It was the worst. My husband and I went there last night and it took us forever to get our food. We sit there 5 minutes and the boy came to the window and asked what was our order???? Really, then we thinking maybe they were cooking more tenders are chicken is why it was taken so long, but nope we got home and the chicken tasted old and the gravy was lumpy and disgusting. We will never ever go back there again. Lisa chicken is the best. My husband did spoke with the manager this morning and she was very nice. Her name was Gabby and she was not the manager working last night. The food was just awful, what a waste of 24 dollars.

My family and I usually go to the Chicken Express down on Cooper, but today we went to the one on Broad Street for the sole reason that it was closer. What a shame that it was a fatal mistake. The moment we open our 40-piece meal (which costed about $54 with tax), the boxes fell apart. The coleslaw was expired and we got a bag filled with a bunch of crushed rolls (which I still do not understand the purpose of). The chicken was dry, and it didnt taste fresh compared to the chicken I ate at the Chicken Express on Cooper. The only positives were that they gave us more than 40 chicken tenders and the sweet ice tea was fine. However, they forgot to give us extra gravy (because we got two mashed potatoes for our side dishes). We usually get two small gravy cases and two big ones, but here, we only got two small ones. I cannot speak for the other meals at the place, but the 40-piece family meal was terrible. Im already boiling water to make my ramen because the chicken is too dry to even stomach. Hopefully, this reaches someone before they too waste $54 on this.

Tonight I waited in the drive thru line for 15 min only for a Gallon of Sweet Tea. Fifteen minutes is too long to wait for a meal - and nevertheless I waited that long for something that didnt have to be cooked only taken from the fridge. This is ridiculous because the lines are horribly long and the inside is Closed. The Broad location used to be my favorite until the change in Management. This new manager is rude and unprofessional and the quality of the food and customer service is ridiculous. Please bring back the old manager she was professional and had great customer service and she kept employees.

I typically dont like these fast food joints because of service, but I was in a pinch on 10/13. I expected to hear a rude/ dry reception at the drive thru speaker but the young lady was VERY polite and helpful, and then the young man at the pickup window was equally polite and even playful (respectfully). And my order was correct... Wow!

Really REALLY bad experiences. Consistently over multiple visits. Sucks because it was one of our favorite places, but the service is horrendous, the food is disgusting, and you spend at least 20 minutes sitting in line waiting. I know there are staffing shortages everywhere, but they ve still got enough time to dance around and take videos of each other, meanwhile they re serving really gross food at a snails pace. Will not be back, probably ever. Avoid this place at all costs yall!

I have been coming to this restaurant for a few years now and not sure if I will be back. Please be aware that you are not the only place in Mansfield that sells Tenders. I sat in the drive thru for 25 minutes to even get to the window. I once again had to give my order. At that time they realize that the car in front of me got my order. Really really disappointed. Went through drive through and the person taking our order was rude and impatient. Once we got to the window the man taking payment didn t say a word he just took our card and slammed the window. Afterwords he gave us our food and didn t say a word, no thank you, no have a good day. Just a slamming of a window to our face. Once we got home we found out they forgot half our order. Just a negative environment and rude workers. The owner needs to get his workers figured out or fire them. Just go to Sonic next door! Their service is great!

Ok...I tried to be patient, but its gotten progressively worse. Todays order was really bad; tiny, over-fried chicken strips (which were mostly crust), the okra was also over-fried and not seasoned well, the fish wasnt great either and they completely forgot an order of fried chicken, which I had to return to get after they wouldnt answer the phone... and of course, that wasnt great either. Im done with them. At least the Grand Prairie location still does a well enough job to keep faith in this franchise.
