The venue was beautiful, inside. Simple clean look. I felt the staff weren t the best. The doors were open from the rooms in the kitchen area and staff was just sitting there. That didn t look very proper. The food was ok. 4 out 10. There s room for improvement. It wasn t my wedding just a wedding I attended too.

me and my husband had our wedding here in April of this year and it was nothing shy of perfect! the owners are so kind and easy to work with, and the venue itself is stunning! if you are considering the Macalester house for any of your events, i recommend it 110%!!!

A very pretty venue. Lovely setup for an outdoor wedding. The tree in the back is so picturesque. Air-conditioning worked great inside on this hot afternoon. Venue accommodated all the guests easily (though I dont know how many were present). Only downfall was no guest WiFi. Cellular service is a bust out here so some way to post things would have been nice.

The facility is beautiful, however my party noticed the lack of inclusion the owners failed to share publicly. They are a little hostile and very defensive so expressing these concerns will not get you very far. I d definitely recommend another option if you re from a minority group. Especially a facility that takes pride in showcasing their customers.

If I could give more stars I would! This venue was beyond perfect for my wedding. The layout is amazing and very thought through, and the bridal suite and grooms room are both very spacious. The owners are the sweetest and quick to answer questions.

I got married here in January 2021 and the experience was amazing. The owners are communicative and extremely helpful. The bridal suite is AMAZING!!!! So big and spacious. The grooms suite is outstanding as well. The owners who built this venue really thought of everything when building!!! The bar area is handy, there is a kitchen and separate room for serving food. Not to mention the venue itself is BEAUTIFUL!!! If I had to do it over again, I would still choose Macalester House!!!!
