Great service and even better food. I was pleasantly surprised because when we got there, it was almost completely empty, but dont let that fool you. It got busy right after we arrived. The menu has almost anything you could want, from smaller plates to parilladas and soups at reasonable prices. Happy hour (until 7pm) and lunch specials. They even make their own tortillas de maiz from scratch which are so good. I really really recommend the potrillo plate!

Tried this place out after reading the reviews. The food was excellent I ordered the #21. My only complaint is that the tortillas were soft when I took them out of the foil. But, as soon as they hit the air they turned rock hard. The guy working the drive thru was super nice.

My family and I were surprised at how clean and good this place is. Since you first come in they greet you with great customer service and make you feel welcomed. Everything was very clean including the tables and even the salt and pepper shakers. The waitress was lovely and happy to answer questions. Quickly brought us delicious chips and salsa. She told us the tortillas were homemade and colorful. Authentic delicious Mexican food and the prices are good. Will definitely be back. Love it!

My wife and I had lunch here. Everything was great! Chips and salsa were great. The rice and tortillas were homemade and soooo good. I had tripas and they were flavorful and crispy like I like them. Definitely will come back when Im back in Corpus! Our server was nice and very attentive. They definitely take pride,in their food and business.

Awful. This place would never survive in any other city. Im amazed by the good reviews. Corpus Christi has the lowest standards for restaurants in Texas, and this is the worst weve had yet. Starting with the greasy, burnt, saltiness chips, then tried the horrible salsa and bad queso. It had to come from a can, and probably the cheapest can of nacho cheese they could find. Gross. Based on the queso, I ordered breakfast to avoid the horrible tastes so far. The eggs might have spoiled. The pancakes were awful and syrup was the cheapest possible. My hashbrowns were not cooked and more of a paste. My wife loves Mexican food but did not even eat her tough skirt steak that she was given instead of the meal she ordered. There were 3 tables being served, yet there was a bad mariachi who came to each table and begged for money. Worst yet in Corpus. Dont do it. We just paid and left without eating. First time I left without tipping in my entire life.

My Dad and I went to eat there. i had an afternoon breakfast. The potato and egg ala mexicana plate with refried beans and two slices of bacon. the coffee was very good. Tortillas are well made. the waitress was very attentive and nice. i really enjoy eating there and will return. the prices are affordable. keep in mind if you order breakfast after lunch you are charged an extra dollar but its well worth it.

I ordered the Milanesa plate & it had too much breading. The beans tasted like if they were from a can instead of freshly cooked. The rice was the only good thing on my plate. My husband wanted to order a large Beef soup & before he ordered, he asked if the soup was made with cabbage. He was told yes, so he ordered it. When he got his soup, there was no cabbage, it only had a couple of small potatoes & two slices if carrots. He asked for the cabbage for thevsoup
