Food tasted good - shockingly theres really not enough lettuce in the salad. I nearly asked for more. But everything was great from the onion rings to my partners meal. Waiter was very nice and attentive! Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible but narrowly in the dining area. They really need a secondary mat in the second set of doors to deal with rainy days, it was slippy.

We have a favorite server here. That said, we have never been disappointed with the food flavor or serving portions. Clean and comfortable. We once brought some of our kids and grandkids with us - about 16. Same prompt, friendly service and great comfort food.

So my daughter took me to eat dinner for my birthday this evening and when her main entree was brought to her a hair was like wrapped around her chicken fried chicken and in the gravy. We simply asked our server to have it remade and she did. It was not her fault that happened in the kitchen and she wasn t even the person who brought our food to the table. I did ask for a manager at first but that was because I couldn t find our waitress, our server. She then told me she had to use the bathroom. I told her about the food, and we walked back to our table to ask my daughter what she wanted to do as far as her meal. She (our server) did ask me if I wanted to speak to a manager but we didn t want to make a big deal about it. Needless to say it was remade, and yes we paid for it but we will not be going back to eat there again

The only reason I am rating this particular Cheddars with 3 stars is because they did not have the T-bone steak they were advertising, they did not have any ribs, and their fully loaded bake potatoes only came with cheese and butter(according to the server) and they would have to charge me extra to add bacon bits(no sour cream and no chives). No thanks Lubbock Ill stick to the Cheddars in the San Antonio area. The service was great , Ill give them that.

We had a late lunch here recently. The host was prompt and friendly, he seated us quickly assuring us we wouldnt be seated near a girls softball team. We just laughed and told him we had coached before, no worries. Sadly, this team WAS a worry. The staff continued to provide great service, the food was delicious. This team exhibited extremely out of control behavior and yet, the entire staff was amazing. Kudos to you, Cheddars for keeping it together. FYI, if this had been one of our teams, there would have been serious base running!

While the food is good and the service was good, Cheddars is filthy. The booth we were seated in had dried food all over the paneling, the table was sticky, as were all the menus. If the dining area, that we CAN see is so dirty, what does the kitchen, that we CANT see, look like? We wont eat there again.

Great food, awesome waitress. The air vent was pointed right at our table, so we had a direct flow of strong cold air hitting us. We took off our coats and put them back on. The only thing I would change is adjusting the vent. And the big spinning fans need dusting. You could see clumps of dust hanging in them flopping back and forth while they spin. Do that, and youve got a 5 star eatery.

Terrible service!! Waitress wanted to chat with a couple at another table instead of waiting on us on Valentines day at 1pm. After a 7 minute wait for her to come to our table, she took our order and went BACK to the other table and after 25 minutes, a different server brought us our meal! The fries were tepid and the fish was warm. Never came to our table to find out if we were needing anything. Normally, everything is great...except today. Food was excellent!! Service, not so much. I find it aggravating when my server can come by and pick up empty dishes but never return with a drink refill. My glass stayed empty nearly the entire meal! Never even asked. Then, after all dishes were removed, it took forever to get my ticket. We sat there for nearly 30 minutes waiting to pay out to leave! Only to have to self check out??!!!! Then, as i am leaving a survey of my experience, my server is standing behind me reading over my shoulder! I hope this is not the new norm!! Cheddars, today you have shaken my confidence. By the way, get rid of the table top credit card machines!! If i am self checking out, why am i tipping a server!!!???? We were sat in the booth next to the dish pit, so sadly thats all I could smell (nauseating) The chicken fried steak & mashed potatoes tasted so strongly of black pepper, I couldnt eat either one. The back of my seat kept vibrating due to the people behind me with restless leg syndrome, which caused me to have to lean forward the hour+/- that we were there I understand some things are out of peoples control but this booth should no longer be an option. Maybe Im just scarred from 15yrs in food service but the smell of the dish pit is one of the most disgusting smells on the planet & probably ruins more appetites than just mine Parking: Senior patrons like to take up multiple spaces

Updated 1.3.24- been 5 years since we have visited this restaurant. Much better visit this time. We were seated in the bar area with an awesome server who took great care of us. Gave us plenty of time to eat without being pushy and was knowledgeable about the menu, which was a plus. Food was wonderful, generous portions. Will probably be returning in the future. We visited on a friday night- first mistake- about 6 pm. We waited approx 5 min to be seated. Eythan - was our waiter. Took 10 minutes to come to the table for both drink/food orders. Drinks and salads were delivered promptly. Another waiter delivered the food, i asked then about the cole slaw and got a blank look as they repeated cole slaw?. Eyrhan came by about 10 min later to ask if everything was OK. Not enthusiastic, I had to ask 3 times to get the coleslaw. My dad also had to ask him 3 times to give him the check...again with a blank stare and he just walked off. Food was good, restaurant was very noisy with lots of kids crying/screaming. Not a restaurant we go to frequently

Talk to a manager about it and he told me the shrimp could be up to 2 weeks old by time they get it ! It was rubber and not deep fried enough! Dont get the shrimp!! The only reason Im going to give 1 star is for the server, she was amazing. It was our 7 year anniversary and I always loved their grilled salmon and potatoe soup!!! Until today everything was great....Potatoe soup, the potatoes were so very raw and undercooked they were crunchy. Salmon the first time was hard and crispy like an 8oz chip so I sent it back..... Next time it was completely raw!!! We got the salmon taken off the ticket but still was charged for my sides when they went back with the meal!!! Even the chef came out and admitted they cook it ONLY on the flat top grill now, instead of searing on the flat top and finishing cooking in oven. Needless to say I went to the store bought some some fish and made it at home way better!!!!! Salmon and potatoe soup sucks!!!!

Have been here in a while, but the wife was craving their crassants. Got seated fast place was clean. Waitress started off awsome but then went downhill. We had ordered another round of crassants, but she forgot it, we asked for numerous items but she ether forgot or just took along time half the items when she remembered to bring us it was too late didnt want or need it. I know she got more tables while we were there, but it felt like after she got our food to us, she forgot us the was has been better in the past definitely could tell most of it was just prepared earlier and then just warmed up . I will give them props on the meatloaf very good and of course the crassants always always a winner. It will be awhile before we go back unless we get a craving for crassants. Was disappointed this time I was hoping for a good meal and experience.

Best bartender Ive ever met, so nice, so friendly, made the best John Daily Ive ever had even though he didnt know what it was. The bourbon glaze is good enough to drink by itself. Salmon cooked perfectly, super fresh salad greens, and the carrots are so good Im trying to figure out how to make them at home.... They pale in comparison to what I got at Cheddars.... Want to try the chicken pot pie someday but there were no more the day I went.... I guess they must be good!
