Ordered wings and tenders for delivery. Outside seasoning / flavor is decent, but chicken texture is pretty unappetizing. Very rubbery, honestly McDonalds nuggets are more satisfying to chew. Also got cheese fries which were decent but it s hard to screw those up. Won t order again tho.

I went here for the first time tonight, and Im not sure Ill be back. Our order-taker seemed annoyed that we didnt know what we wanted right away. My husband asked a question about a sauce and she didnt know what went into it. She also paced around while we were eating staring at us and the other table that was dining in as if she couldnt wait for us to leave. The bone-in wings tasted like they had been cooked in old oil and were slightly overcooked. The oil taste overtook any sauce or seasonings. The boneless wings were inconsistent meaning some parts were okay, but others were nearly inedible. The high point was the crinkle fries. They were crispy and delectable and didnt have a trace of the burnt flavor of the wings. I might have said something about the food, however I didnt feel like the staff would have done anything about it. I dont normally leave reviews, but I have seen this establishment respond to others which means they read reviews. Honestly, Ive heard good things about this place, but tonight was definitely a low point.

Food was GREAT!!! Weve been looking for that secret wing spot here in the city for the past few years. And I bet you wouldnt be surprised to find out that finding this stash house has not been, in the slightest bit, at the top of our priority list. But me-oh-my ladies & gentlemen all hope is not yet abandoned. The secret artisan skill of simplicity seems to be taught, and practiced with only the highest regard and strictest of disciplines as in accordance with the old ways not yet forgotten. To start the onion rings are off the chart delicious! They come with an in house sauce that is perfect. The wings are huge and very flavorful. Owner was very nice and even let me try flavors. If you like Fireball you ll have to try the Fireball wings. Flavors are unique not the same old ones everyone has. Overall, best wings I ve had in Lubbock! Kid-friendliness: Plenty of non spicy flavors for kids.

The biggest crispiest most flavorful wings in Lubbock Texas. Don t miss 80 cent boneless Mondays and 80 cent bone in Wednesday. The chicken sandwich is to die for with the buffalo sauce and desserts are amazing the mangers are so cool and helpful. I have the top 1% of spice tolerance in the world and when I say the hotter than hell sauce is not to be touched I mean it. Bring aloe Vera juice if you dare try a wing to get rid of the stomach burn that left me unable to drive my car

I came here for the first time today and got a 10-piece wing, fry and drink I got five buffalo and five lemon pepper Let me start off by saying that the fries were absolutely delicious. I love the salty seasoning that they had. I only wish the portion was a little larger. Now when it comes to the wings I do want to say that they were very large, cooked well, fresh and crispy My only complaints were the sauces and seasonings themselves. The buffalo wings were very dry, not saucy at all. It was almost as if the sauce was dried on. The lemon pepper wings unfortunately had no lemon pepper on them however, they did faintly taste the lemon pepper. In my opinion, this place has the potential to be the best wing place in the city! The wings are very large and crispy but for me personally until they can get the sauce and seasonings right? Its a three star for me

Let me tell you, the staff at Wing Shack brought it on Memorial Day! I had a last minute family gathering at lunch. They pulled off my last minute large order even though they were struggling with staff shortages. The food was delicious, as always! They were so appreciative and didnt miss a beat. Just another reason why Wing Shack and Tap House is our favorite spot for wings in Lubbock. Shout out to Jenne and the chef for hot, fresh food and cookies! Check them out!

I ve had multiple bad experiences with other wing restaurants where the wait time is too long and the service is horrible. But this place changed my perspective and gave me a new place to take my family to eat good wings! What s amazing is there was multiple families who ordered and there is one chef, one server, and one in charge of the register and the service was quite efficient! Yes, there were times I had to request some missing items, but considering that it s a team of three handling this establishment is quite impressive! Definitely recommend you come and most importantly be patient and kind with the crew, just how they are with you!

Highly recommend this place for wings. We got boneless & bone in to try and both were great (especially the truffle please keep it forever)! The lady at the front was as sweet as can be taking our order (blonde slick back bun). Onion rings and fries were amazing. The pita bread appetizer was a unique and different app but super good! Only thing I d say is lacking is the atmosphere, it isn t bad but it s not great. Nothing that would stop me from going back. 10/10

First time ordering from here, and was very disappointed. While their wings arent as cremated as other places, they did not taste fully cooked, and there was barely any flavor to them. Lemon pepper was much too salty and garlic parm might as well have been plain wings. Fries were fine but I paid $4 for a large cheese sauce which was just three small cups that didnt have much flavor either.

Tried this place out because my wife saw a post on Facebook saying how good the wings are better than Wingstop. Well, I was not impressed our first order came out cold. They did not have a hot or original like the way I enjoy my wings so I got Buffalo lemon pepper. The flavor was ok... The staff brought out the 2nd order because the 1st was cold. So for all of you who knows me you know I give a honest review. My wife and stop by WingShack & Taphouse in Lubbock Tx today. First impression of the restaurant for the most part, the restaurant is very clean a couple tables are dirty but after bringing it to the general managers attention, it was immediately taken care of walked into the restrooms and they unbelievably clean. Now to the food, the french fries were cooked to perfection season just right thoroughly enjoyed them the wings for the most part they were pretty good. I only had one chip for the GM and that would be to add about a minute on the cook time to give them more crispy fill and taste. And for that reason, I gave them a four on the total overall score of the restaurant but let s not be mistaken. The wings were flavored very well and I would definitely eat here again, so if you re in Lovick, and you re tired of dealing with Wingstop or Buffalo wild wings stop by the wing shack on Slide Road Across from Fuddruckers and enjoy some good southern Texas wings. 1.) They got rid of those Monday and Tuesday half price boneless wings. 2.) We had to wait 37 minutes for our food when the store was basically empty, and the food came out burnt, yet room temperature. All three flavors and the fries were all room temperature. 3.) Each boneless wing is 80 cents, and then a small ranch, the size of canes sauce, costs 99 cents, so it s very pricey. 4.) 2 stars because past experiences were great (when it was half price) but probably won t be going back.

Ive eaten here a few times and I absolutely love it every time! I come on Mondays and Tuesdays for their boneless special and Wednesdays for their bone-in special. The wings are always pretty big and yes, they do take a while to reach the table but its only because they dont start preparing them until you order. Also, you can sample the sauces to see what flavors you like. My absolute favorite is the Fireball sauce.

I must be honest and say these were the best wings I have ever had. The Garlic Parmesan is the best Garlic Parmesan flavor that is in Lubbock, Texas. I also had the Mango Habanero flavor, which was delicious. I will say it takes a bit for the wings to come out because they cook the orders fresh. I didn t mind that aspect because it is bring your own beer right now. I didn t mind drinking four beers and having a quality conversation with my girlfriend while we waited. My favorite wing place in Lubbock had always been Wing Daddy s, but Wing Shack took that number one spot. The building was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. I would recommend anyone this place. I am excited to see in the future what type of beer they will have on tap. Parking: Easy to park. Plenty of parking available. Kid-friendliness: Its a respectful environment where families can enjoy a meal together.

Im not sure if i got the wrong sauce on my wings, but they were not hot, i got the mango habanero their second hottest wings besid ghost pepper, and they were not even hot. I felt like i could have eaten ghost pepper just fine. The dry rub wings had little to no seasoning. i understand its a dry rub, but there should be a good amount of it on there. We didn t have the best customer service. When we arrived there was only one other couple already eating and another behind us. We waited 30 minutes for our food to come out. My husband went to the counter to ask about it and we think the waitress forgot to give it to us because it was sitting there already ready for us. That was frustrating. VERY good! My only issue was how little fries we got. I think they were $3.99 for a small thing of them. On Wednesdays the bone in wings are $0.75. We got 15 wings, a regular fry, and two regular drinks for $28 so not bad! The service was great, we expected to wait way longer but they were out in a very timely manner. Its a clean place and I cannot wait for their bar to open! The ranch was $0.99 each but they gave us an extra and we really appreciated it.

Before opening the doors, the air from my lungs spoke the words Ive waited a long time for this. What felt like years since seeing the sign pop up, plenty of are they open? slight pull on the handle, and nothing. After long last, Wing Shack is now open Lubbock is in a dire need for more wing establishments, only managing to contain few truly good wings eateries, with far too many of them lacking in service or quality, leading me and my companions to hunt for the ultimate wing experience. Which brings me to this new location, Wing Shack. Fresh from the ribbon cutting, the place is still BYOB until further notice, but its the wings that we were on the hunt for. The marvelous host, cashier, sometimes waitress greeted us warmly and asked for a Good Name? Clark sounded like a good name at the name, so I told her that, I like the anonymity you are allowed. We were simple customers, but she went above and beyond, making sure we were taking care. The wings: Solid. The size was plentiful, good mix of drums and flats without an irregular sized one in the bunch. Sauce was just right. Buffalo sauce had a good kick, but I may have had a dry mouth that day, but it was good flavor, regardless. Fries as the side: Crinkle style, fried to almost perfection, maybe a second or two longer, but not a second or two less as I fear that may have been a game changer. I got ranch, but the brother got Blu Cheese and was very disappointed in it, thinking it didnt taste right. All in all, for the price you spend at Bwws, you get a much more favorable flavor, size, service than almost every wing place in Lubbock. Hopefully, this is just the beginning and we can expect more and more hurdles Wing Shack can jump through to add to such a pleasant Wing dining experience.

Wings were really good, granted sauce seemed to leave something to be desired. buffalo sauce is very watery / not much flavor. Will have to try the dry rub next visit.
