Came in for Sunday brunch with a party of 7 and we had a reservation. We were seated quickly. Alvin was our server and he was incredible! He has such a great personality and he was very attentive. Definitely took great care of us. He also let us know the kitchen was running behind so he kept us in the loop for why we were waiting. Our drinks and food were great! Definitely recommend the Reserve and ask for Alvin to take care of you!

My husband and I went in celebrating our anniversary and made a reservation ahead of time. Our server was amazing and was very attentive, friendly and helpful. However I couldn t help but notice how the kitchen manager visited every table except ours. We were the only Hispanic couple on the side of the restaurant we were on and we were obviously dressed up for our special date. Our entrees were cold when it came to our table and over priced for the portions. We both have worked in the service industry and expected better. My husband is an experienced chef and was disappointed with how our experience was excluding our wonderful waitress.

The waitress was amazingly professional the atmosphere was great the food was a similar to a chain restaurant we noticed that the kitchen manager came to check every table and acknowledged them expect us not at all were we checked on and we made eye contact several times I ve been a chef for years and that was not Broccolini it was regular broccoli and both our plates were stone cold and mash potatoes were made at noon we went to celebrate a Anniversary and was unfortunately let down for dinner but hay don t let my post stop you for trying it yourself

The service was excellent! The queso was wonderful, but some of the chips were rancid. The Tavern burger was very dry (both patty and buns), but the sweet potato tots were good. The pulled pork tacos were very smoky with good spice from the jalapenos and fresh salsa.

Menu has lots of different options. I got the 14oz ribeye. It was delicious. Service was great. I called ahead to ask for hours of operation. The call was quickly answered and I was kindly greeted. When we arrived- the hostess greeted us at the door and was very polite and easy to talk to. Connie was our waitress. Definitely one of the best waitress I ve had. She answered all of our questions (we had A LOT) gave us plenty of recommendations. She also kept our drinks full. She came to check on us just the right amount. I didn t feel rushed to finish and I didn t feel neglected by her. Perfect balance. I m very happy with the food and service. My only recommendation/request would be better steak knives.

Really enjoyed dinner here. Food was very filling and service was fast and complete. One side note though, the booths we were sat in arent for the older and/or disabled crowd. The main section around them was also all high tops. Again, not great for everyone. Well ask to sit at the low tops the next time were in, and that will be very soon!

This place is always crowded so I thought it would be a good place to celebrate brunch after college graduation. The server admitted it was her first time handling a table on her own. Ok, fine, Ill cut her some slack, but train your staff better. She has a lot to learn. The food tasted good, but my glazed nashville hot chicken sandwich was barely warm. The chicken fried benedict was also not very hot. We did not complain because we will not be back there. If I lived nearby, I would have complained because the food was good. The menu was small. We were there right before dinner menu began so we only had brunch/lunch menu. I expected more. Finally, the menu lists prices that you only get if you pay cash. If you pay with credit card, there is a 3% convenience fee. Those prices should be the other way. List the higher price and offer the discount for cash.

Visited a little while back, and since I was new to this place I waited to write this one till I formed an idea of the food places in Lubbock. It has a lot of great and good options and this unfortunately isnt one. 1. Took a lot of time to place an order in medium filled settings. 2. I ordered their Chicken with a signature white sauce which was too salty. They apparently replaced it with a fresh one and same thing 2nd time. Upon asking found out they batch made sauces and evidently that days were made super salty. So the sauce wasnt fresh and most importantly the chef doesnt taste their food. 3. The server dropped by to ask this particular question - Is it good enough salt for you? Had they tasted it, theyd have known not for me but it was salty for anybody, my companion corroborated.

This is typically our go to place on the weekends. Today they had a special Valentine s menu and it did not meet expectations. The server was not aware of the items on the special menu, as when we asked questions, he was unsure. For our appetizer, we ordered the coconut shrimp and it came out completely raw. Overall, entrees (filet and stuffed chicken), desserts (cheesecake and red velvet pie) and drinks were good. I think they really messed up offering a special menu that the employees did not get to try first when they could have just slimed down the menu that they already have and is always good.

We got the waffle batter bacon as an appetizer, the chicken fried beni, and the glazed donut nashville hot. I actually ordered the donut smash burger but the waitress misheard me and I got the glazed donut Nashville hot and it was a happy accident. The fried bacon appetizer seemed a little overcooked and probably would have been great if it wasn t. The glazed donut Nashville hot was awesome except for the subpar tater tots. Definitely a memorable dish though! The chicken fried Beni was good overall but the eggs were cold and unseasoned. The biscuit was the stand out and the chicken was tasty! So many other interesting things on the menu that we d like to try, for sure! We sat on the patio and the atmosphere was great! We wish the waitress would have checked on us a bit more but service was good. Would go back!

I gave 3 stars because I won t take family there anytime soon. I think the food was great. The bartender was good .. my only complaint was the atmosphere. When you allow people to yell profanities in the restaurant and that person is still served alcohol it make the evening at a restaurant not great. I think this place has potential if they can just keep an atmosphere more consistent. No one wants to be there with friends and family and horrible behavior happening. Again great food ..

We were underwhelmed by the service especially with our reservation providing specific details for a 70th Birthday celebration that was not acknowledged. Both hostesses were reminded upon our arrival. Then the waiter gave the bill to the individual celebrating his birthday after being instructed not to do so. Due to the rain and Tech playing a double header, they were not busy to have just overlooked these details.

We were seated right away for an early dinner on a Saturday, and the place was already buzzing before 5pm. Service was quick and our waiter was really good. He offered me a sample of a beer I hadnt had before prior to committing to a dull pint. There were quite a few options for each course & very good drink selection. We had chicken fried bacon for an appetizer and that ended up being much tastier than I anticipated. Mains were salmon with Cole slaw and sweet potato tots for me and meat lovers pizza for the mister. We enjoyed both. The booth was a bit weird (seats kind of tilted in and leg rest was quite a way down), but I really liked that it was sectioned off so we could hear our conversation easily. Several basketball games were on, always a plus.

More than underwhelmed by The Reserve Culinary. How can you have culinary in the name and serve people frozen crinkle fries and frozen sweet potato tater tots? The only reason I gave 3 stars... they actually had Lemon Drop Martinis on the menu and the barkeep could actually make it! Most places in Lubbock dont even know what it is, and if they try to make serve it in a highball glass instead of a martini glass. I would go back just for drinks.

This is a new restaurant so my critique may be a non issue in a few months. But because I want them to succeed, I m going to offer some honest feedback: 1. Four people ate in our party and nobody enjoyed the food. The salmon was undercooked and they did remake it but it took so long we had to place it in a to go container; the tavern burger was over cooked and had very little taste at all; the chips were way too salty. Just not good food for the price or any price. 2. The whole experience took way too long. We got there at 6:30 and did not have our dinner until 745 or so. It took 10 minutes for them to get the checks and another 10 minutes for them to return the credit cards.

I m not sure what special soda water they use on their chiltons, but it is the BEST CHILTON in Lubbock. I have enjoyed everything I have had so far: The pizza, the naan bites (this is my favorite), the jalapeño poppers, the shishito peppers, the tacos, and the tuna tower. I also love that they have gluten free pizza and you can also make your pizza a protein only option, which is a dieter s dream! The staff is really friendly and Nick is on the floor running food and talking to tables, which is a nice treat.

We just went here for a date night, the appetizer (Italian eggeoll?) Was great, everything else was pretty blah. I got the filet medallions, filet was very bland, didnt taste like a nice grilled steak, tasted like you fried it on your stove but maybe worse than that. My husband had a pasta dish that he said was also lackluster. Dessert menu basically consisted of just pie, so we got apple pie. Doesnt come with ice cream, just pie. It was meh, sounds weird but bites of my pie tasted like smoked brisket Im giving 3 stars because I think theres room for improvement but Im not sure well be back to this one.
