The food was decent, but the service was terrible. My family of four went for breakfast this morning and we were left waiting for 10-15 minutes without even getting a menu or having our drink orders taken. Despite there being only two tables on our side of the restaurant, we were completely overlooked. I even had to flag down a couple of different servers to find out who our server was; both told me, I dont know, let me check, and they never came back. When that didn t work, I finally managed to get Jordan to take our order. It was frustrating to see the other servers just hanging out and chatting while we were left unattended. Jordan did a great job taking care of us, even though we werent in his section. The rest of the server staff really dropped the ball. We wont be back

We live close to this restaurant, so took our grandkids to it this morning, even though our previous experience at this place was not great. They were extremely busy, so I have to grant a little leeway for today s poor experience. To begin with, the metal chairs are almost tortuous! Without hesitation, I will say they are absolutely the worst, most uncomfortable chairs we have ever sat on! And not just us oldsters; our grandkids also hated the chairs! After 10 minutes, everyone was in pain! The wait, to get our food was very long, too long actually, but as I said they were quite busy. When our food arrived, it was immediately obvious that the preparation was very poorly done. Three of us ordered breakfast food, & one ordered lunch food. A 3-egg omelette was not an omelette, but just scrambled eggs, with scant meat scrambled in. My 3 eggs, ordered over-easy were not! They were almost raw. I don t mind the yolk being runny, but the egg-white was clear & runny too! Not very appetizing! The lunch food was also poor, with cold soup, and a sandwich made of scant filling and bread that was partly missing, with gaps, as if it had been wrecked, then trimmed ..but the salad was very good! On the plus side, the service was great! Our waiter & waitress were both quite friendly and attentive! Still, we do not plan to return, nor recommend this place to anyone else.

Sat here for an hr waiting on my food, said the omlet was made wrong, so took another 30 mins to make? And seen four couples come in after me, and ate and left before my food got here, then half order showed up. Even the manger that walks by to see if everything is going ok, walked right passed our booth and kept walking

The classic why did we do that experience. Very disappointing. To start, the flies were off the chart. The table was dirty which included a dead fly. We sit down and was deciding on what to order. The young lady with curly dirty blonde hair seemed like a good waitress at first. She asked if we needed more time to decide. We said yes..that was a mistake.. she disappeared out of sight for 15 minutes. When the food started trickling in my pancake was brought out with no syrup. Once the food came out, she noticed our drinks were needing refilled and said shed take care of it. Never happed. Upon checking out she became a smart**s with my buddy. My friends 1st time and last time there. My 3rd or 4th and last time. Makes you wonder how they stay in business.

Place was clean. Showing news channels everywhere which was an immediate turn off. Server wasn t very friendly or welcoming. I felt like an inconvenience. Took awhile to be seated because there was no host. Asked for extra crispy bacon got uncooked bacon. Hashbrowns were also half undercooked and half burnt. My daughter was with me and we both had the same thing. It was not good. She immediately started having a stomach ache and I also felt a little nauseous. Told the server of the issue and they didn t care. Place used to be good but I will never be back at least not to this location. Service and food has gone downhill.

I can t deny that the food was good, but they told me they would make the sandwich I ordered over easy instead of hard, and that they d make the hash browns extra crispy the inverted it. Soggy hash browns, hard eggs. Then, it took them at least twice as long as they said it would when I picked it up. Not a bad place - I will be back to give them another chance because I really did like the food. That being said, I think these things would annoy anyone.

Our server, though new, was efficient and friendly. The food was very good with large portions. We all enjoyed our breakfast and the entire experience.

While the restaurant exhibited commendable service, the culinary experience left much to be desired. The waffle lacked flavor, the eggs seemed reminiscent of box eggs, and the potatoes had an unusual taste. Despite the excellent service, the underwhelming quality of the food diminished the overall dining experience.

The farmhouse is a restaurant that unfortunately has terrible service, we came to have breakfast and it took 7 minutes for them to come and serve us, they brought us coffee and a Coca-Cola, the cream never arrived, 2 tables arrived after us and they were served immediately, they received their order and we are still waiting for them to take our order, whats going on here I wonder? They forgot, the restaurant was practically empty, we got up, we left 10 dollars for the coffee and the Coca-Cola, we left, everyone saw and none of the waitresses flinched, what a shame for the owner, with so many good people who want to work and they have these people who dont care about the customer who is lost, bad, very bad for the business.

We used to love having Sunday breakfast here. But the last few times, its been awful. The service was ok but the food wasnt good. They were out of several things on the menu. Then, once we finally did get our food, it was awful. I ordered some apple pancakes. It was 1 large pancake, so tuff you could barely cut it with a knife. The apple they put on it was a raw apple cut in large chunks with the peeling still on it too. The whole experience was just awful. We will not be going back again.

Terrible experience, will not be back. I ordered 2 waffles (one with strawberries); a deluxe omelette, 2 sausages with scrambled eggs, hash browns, a chocolate milk and a water. When I arrived at the restaurant to pick up my order, I-waited for another 10 minutes. When I arrived home, my order was not what I received. I receive only one waffle with no strawberries, no second waffle and 2 slices of french toast and no water. The omelette was terrible, it was cold and had congealed cheese and sandwich cold cut ham that had been cut up for their ham. There was no water and the hashbrowns had not been cooked at all, they jus shredded some potato and placed it in the clamshell. They were completely raw. This is the worst service and quality control that I have ever seen. I will not be back, ever.

I wouldnt give this place any stars the manager/ owner is not a person u wanna work for ot even eat his food. He treats his waitresses very poorly when when its his fault we were there about 2 hours before we got our food right. The waitress got our order right cause she would repeat it back to us as soon as we ordered it. When I asked to talk to the manager/owner it took him about 20 or 30 minutes to makes his way to our table. He totally blamed the waitress for the food when the food was late or the wrong this or even a hair in just our table his man does not know the definition of a cook his good was disgusting. He made the waitress cry she took it hard when he blamed her. Also when I got up to pay they took for ever to give me my change. Then when we were walking to our car he sent a waitress to go get our licenses plate then when we when back in the to ask why they were getting our license plate the lady claim that my money was a fake. When I told him he could of talked to me n addressed he he said I could leave n that he was gonna call the cops. He called the cops we waited. The cop seen the 100 dollar bill n said there was nothing wrong with it that he just did everything so poorly n that we hadnt done anything wrong but give him a peace of our minds. The cop said that we would be surprised on how many times this farmhouse has police come to there place for something. I will never go back to this place. People if u go there ask first how the cook is n if its him I wouldnt stay. I cant understand why he would send his waitress to get a license plate putting her on the line his just looking for great law suit.

The only nice thing about this place is the outside. The inside is tacky but looking past that the service and food added up to how basic it is. We were very excited to go but our waiter hardly checked on us, drinks came after we had sat there for a long while and refills were hard to get. However he was very nice just not as attentive. Our food came in and although it looked appetizing it definitely was not. The food here is basic microwaved, straight from the trailer to freezer ordered cafeteria food. There was no flavor no seasoning. If you want food with effort and flavor AVOID this place!

Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Great food. I wont be back. We ate there on a Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m. and all I heard was loud country and western music being played over their speakers. Granted, Im not a fan of country and western music. True this is a farmhouse style restaurant which leans towards the country music industry. But, Im not a fan as the shrill twangy singing grates on my nerves. Yes, Im weird. But maybe play something for everyone or something neutral? Ill miss the food as it was good, but the atmosphere was not my style.

Absolutely Terrible service!!! Had to go here with a group of 30. No place in Lubbock takes reservations for breakfast so they convinced us to come there by saying they would hold empty tables for us as long as we called same day-30 mins prior to arriving. When we arrived the whole restaurant was seated with a table of 15 right when you walk in. I was then told that they started saving tables but once the 15 top came in they gave all our tables to them. I have worked in the food and beverage industry for 20 years in Las Vegas. I think it s kind of silly that no restaurants take reservations but whatever. However- The fact that we did exactly as they asked and they still just gave our tables away was EXTREMELY unprofessional. Will never go here again.

Sometimes crowded but because it has been a great place to eat. BUT TODAY the food was subpar. The waffles were burned (never happened to us before) and the aftertaste for the BBQ Benedict has continued to be horrible even four hours later. The impression from that aftertaste is of bad cooking oil. Maybe there was a change in cooks / kitchen staff? Also, the food seemed to take an extra long time to arrive, even though the restaurant was not full.

Very unprofessional and very inappropriate. I also heard her yelling at other employees in the back of the restaurant. Word of advice for the owner. If you want return customers, either get that lady under control or get rid of her. It made me never want to return seeing the way she treats employees. I don t like feeling the tension when I m trying to eat my breakfast.

Im sad we took so long to try this place. As far as I have seen, they have the best Eggs Benedict in town, and the hash browns were extremely good. I have no idea what made them so much better than others, but the hash browns were not overly greasy or salty and I think they may cut them finer than others. The Eggs Benedict had a good thick slice of ham, perfectly poached eggs, and a great hollandaise... I rarely see all three done well together. Our kids had pancakes and raved about them.... Cool concept to only serve one pancake but make it huge.

A buddy and I went to have lunch there one afternoon and I ordered the lunch combo which came with a salad, fries and the pulled pork burger which the pulled pork was dry slightly burnt but thought it okay for the first time and price.si then I went again and ordered the same lunch combo but not the pulled pork sandwich I ordered the south west sandwich I asked if I can have the salad before my food came out unlike the other time well I ate the salad which was a little soggy not crisp anyways as soon as I finished the salad along comes the half sandwich but no fries so I asked the waitress if it comes with fries she said that it didnt so said last time I was here it did well she said I can charge you for a side of fries I said no thanks I guess they changed their menu over night I was charged almost $10 for a soggy salad and a half of sandwich I will not be going back spend my money elsewhere

We were seated promptly. I was visiting from.out of town..passed by and thought it looked interesting. Love the name! Food was excellent. Coffee ok. Waitress was helpful and kind. Brought out everything we needed and came back to refill our coffee and to ask if all was well. I will return. I had stuffed French toast delicious. Husband had a waffle, which was tasty. The food was very tasty, cooked right, great portion size and at such a reasonable cost. The place was clean and prompt and our server Emily was the perfect waitress. She was just the right amount of attentiveness and so polite and friendly. The whole staff was courteous. I will definitely be back!

Very disappointed with the service. We finally left without eating after waiting for 30 min from the time we ordered. Everyone else around us seemed to get their food in a timely manner, but our order was forgotten with no explanation or apology.

Wasn t impressed. Eggs over cooked. ( scrambled) biscuit wasn t cooked. Sausage Pattie s tasted like Walmart sausage patty. Gravy was watered down and tasteless. Coffee was weak. Didn t offer water or bring it. Chicken fried steak had good flavor, but was tough to chew. Pros: waitresses were nice. Place is clean.

I came in today for breakfast. Our server was Andrew. He was an excellent server. He was kind, friendly, and funny. We placed our order with him, and he got everything right when he delivered our food. He checked on us several times asking us if we needed anything. The food was excellent and so was the service. I lll be coming back to the Farmhouse, and asking for Andrew again!

This was so good I had to write a review before I even left the parking lot! We got the Southwest Benedict and the Stuffed French Toast and barely even finished half of our plate. It was SO much food for the price point. (Under $10 for each plate). The food was obviously freshly made, piping hot and very flavorful. Will come back if we re in the area again.

Andrew was an amazing server! He was very attentive to our needs and making sure everyone was taken care of ahead of time. Anything we mightve needed was brought before we ever thought of asking for it. He was also funny and made the experience that much pleasurable. Ill definitely be asking for him again when we come back!

Sad day! Have been regulars since this place opened. Today was not a good one. We sat down 10 min past, not one person looked our way, acknowledged us or anything. Others were seated after and taken care of right away. 5 waitresses walked by us and nothing. We were told Keisha was our server but our server didn t exist. Wish our server would have been Cheyenne this would have NEVER happened! She has been good to us for so long! Service has gone down hill and it s sad as this is our favorite place to be and enjoy.

Update: After this review I was quickly contacted by the owners. They were very apologetic and quick to try and correct things. After our conversation I am completely willing to give the restaurant another try. The owners seem genuinely concerned and on top of things, and I thoroughly appreciated their approach. I suspect all these issues were quickly addressed and corrected where possible. I am giving 2 more stars for great owners! Original review: I had the pulled pork Benedict. The eggs were poached nicely. The pork was flavorful although it was served to me cold. The hollandaise sauce was bland but atleast it wasnt broken. The english muffin had gotten soggy under my cold meat and eggs. I was really disappointed as I had heard great things about the food. The waitress was a little too friendly with my husband for my taste as well. Its never good to flirt with the customers much less in front of their wives. Especially when you get the wifes drink wrong and serve her cold food. It was not a good experience and I would not return. They need to train their staff better and make sure food is served hot to everyone at the tables. 2 stars only because my husbands burger was tasty and served warm.
