Food looks great, but substance is lacking. Simple things like salting pasta water fail to be caught. The manager did stop by but after talking to him the response was would you like more sauce, and seemed puzzled by the tip of salting pasta water. I think the lasagna may be premade and froze, as the center was ice cold when it arrived but bubbling on the top. Definitely very common to chain restraunts, where the concept is good but the execution is lacking. There are definitely better atmospheres and food to be had in Lubbock.

Came to Ike s for my rehearsal dinner with my wedding party after being let down by Orlando s. The manager on duty got us seats within 15 min and the service was the best I ve had anywhere in Lubbock. Great staff, the food was great, and the live music was a bonus! Ike s is one of the best local spots in Lubbock. It s become mine and my wife s favorite place.

We had Ikes do catering for our sons wedding. It was amazing. The food, servers, and everything was so nice, and they were professional. All the catering team, when I called, were so nice and sweet when assuring me that they would be there the day of. I will recommend them to anyone. We had the chopped steak, twice backed potato, and rice everyone at the wedding were impressed with the food and I had many people ask where the food was from. Thanks again Ikes!

I ate the Ike s hamburger and it was the best hamburger I have eaten in many years, and it was less than $13! It was that good. Our waiter and the kitchen manager checked on us several times and were very attentive. Everything was wonderful. We really enjoyed it.

We so enjoyed our evening at Ikes Woodfire Grill. The service (thank you Maddie) was exceptional as our server was attentive and friendly. We share a cheeseburger pizza and devoured it as it was very tasty. There was a delay in getting my Texas margarita; however, it definitely was worth waiting for and it turned out for the best as I enjoyed it while I ate. There are a couple of items on the menu that my husband and I would like to try, so we plan to return. We ate indoors, but the patio was full of customers enjoying live music. Parking: It was easy to find parking. Kid-friendliness: We saw families with small children who seemed to be enjoying themselves.

First I wanna say first time here. But Definitely NOT the last. The food the Appetizers. I mean were above and beyond good. The Portions are Amazing. Our Server Rennea was Amazing you can tell shes experienced at what she did My Son in Law turned 21. And she went out her way to sing with us. I ve been here a few times now and I have to say I m extremely pleased. They have a quite the selection with a 4 page menu, and the food is very good. I had the garlic Parmesan salmon the few times I went and it was always cooked perfectly and tasted great. The service has been great every time as well, my servers have always been very sweet and inviting making sure me and my friends are satisfied every-time we go. Excellent service and excellent food! Will definitely be going here more regularly and recommending to my friends!

Worst service I have ever experienced anywhere. Never saw our waitress again after she took our order. Someone else brought out our food and our waitress then totally ignored us. My wife asked another waitress for drink refills and when she returned, OUR waitress finally came back! Only to ask if we wanted drinks to go in a HOW DARE YOU tone. I will never go back!!

Our server was very friendly and checked on us several times. The pork chops were very tender and tasty and the grilled asparagus was great. The mahi mahi pitas were large enough to share. My only complaint about them is that the fish was pretty dry. Also, there were toilets out of order and the flatware was pretty flimsy.

Friday night pasta special takeout was not so special. It was awful. It was a big disappointment because ive had this dish before. The entire dish was cold and looked like it had been sitting already prepared for hours. Garlic bread comes with the order but was missing in order. Tasted and threw. Had the Roasted Poblano Burger. I asked for chopped lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and mayo on the side as the burger doesnt come with it. My preference is to add those items. Burger as described by Ikes: Fresh avocado topped with a charbroiled burger patty, roasted poblano pepper, and poblano queso. The meal came with fries. If youre in the mood for a Burger meal, this is excellent! Overall, it was a very good meal!

Restaurant was spotless. Clean and well spaced out. Service was unbelievable! From walking in to walking out we had the most incredible service. Host, waiter, manager, and entire staff! My husband and I came in tonight on 4/5/24. Our dinner selections were: Beef Fajitas & Shrimp Alfredo Pasta and they were both great selections, I just forgot to take pics. Too hungry! Cucumber Chiltons are always our go to drinks when we come here! Our server, Misael, recommended a new drink, The Drunken Astronaut, very good!! Misael, went above and beyond to provide us a great dinning experience. We appreciated his friendly attitude, great service, and recommendations. I ordered the mahi mahi pita. This entree has three (3) toppings: mahi mahi, mango salsa, and avocado. Thats it. They took the two (2) more expensive toppings off my plate. All they gave me was some dry pita with even dryer fish chunks on it. Never a good sign when a business owner resorts to such tactics in order to save on the food cost. Ive been coming here for several years. Its been going downhill for some time now, but today topped everything else.

Food was good, burger was a little burnt but no complaints on food or service. Tessa was great but when we came in Carolina (I think the manager) had called a meeting in front of the kitchen for all customers to witness that was just inappropriate and unprofessional. There is a time and place for things like that and it could have been done in privacy. It held up the entire staff for about five minutes while we sat waiting to be waited on. So would definitely change the approach of a staff meeting and keep it PRIVATE.

My husband and I have eaten there before and have enjoyed the food and service. This past time, eating with two friends, was the worse meal I have eaten in a restaurant. The french fries were cold, my hamburger patty was burnt and tasteless, and the bottom of the top of my hamburger bun was black all around the edges. Obviously, someone wasnt overseeing what left the kitchen. I wont be ordering that again if we choose to come back. The waitress was very good! I ve enjoyed dinner here every now and again. The atmosphere is always nice and the service is good. If you re lucky to have Bella as your waitress then you ll be in perfect hands. About the only issue I ve had has been the seating, the hostess don t jot down names during busy nights and they pick whoever they see first so that s a little annoying but not enough that I won t come back. I ll just stand in front of the hostess table to make sure I m picked first :))

We placed a dinner order online for pickup. I let the manager know that it was our first time eating at Ikes when I picked up the order. I was charged twice, they forgot my drinks, and my burger was raw. The manager that I spoke with was rude and told me that he would issue a refund for the overcharge, and issue a refund for the raw burger. It took over a week for the overcharge to be refunded and he never issued a refund for the raw burger. He never mentioned the drinks and didnt apologize. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!!! AWFUL FOOD AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!

I usually don t leave reviews at restaurants but tonight I was served by Bianca and just had to leave a review. Bianca has the most positive and enjoyable presence. She made our meal absolutely amazing. She talks to you as if she s known you for years and makes you feel so welcome in Ike s atmosphere. Along with her social skills she s incredible at her job! All drinks were refilled promptly, all of our food was perfectly made with no issues, and all restrictions like gluten allergies were met. I would recommend going here and most definitely would recommend sitting at Bianca s table!

As always, Ikes didnt disappoint. We tend to go at least once a month for date night. The food is ALWAYS amazing & plated beautifully. The staff are nice, they dont overly check on your table, nor do they stay away too long. We generally pay about $55 including tip (we do lunch dates). Dinner is a bit pricy (20-30 a plate) but totally worth it.

I want to thank and compliment Ikes for a great lunch experience today, my first time in and Im really happy to have been there. Alex our waiter was awesome and professional, kept our drinks full and treated us like old friends. The manager came by our table to make sure we were all pleased and getting what we wanted. The food here is very good, I had chicken fried chicken, amazing, my friends had chicken fried steak, calzone and chicken strips, they were all really pleased as well. All the sides we had were awesome. Love the restaurant, great atmosphere, loved the music that was playing, plenty of TV screens, not too loud either. I cant speak to the bar setup since I dont indulge, however, it looks really well thought out and comfortable Im sure plenty of folks enjoy that when they come in. Again, thanks Ikes, definitely made an impression on me, oh, since I skipped dessert at lunch time, I just had to go and get carry out orders of their coconut cream pie, my day is now complete and Im very satisfied.

My family of 13 went to celebrate a birthday last niht. Our server Misael G. was fantastic from the very start. He communicates well, keeps patrons informed of any delay & is very honest and genuine in his interactions. He was funny & kind and all the lovely traits one would hope to have in a service staff. Aside from some cold potatoes (which was immediately resolved) it was a great dinner! My family has been to Ikes several times. We have noticed a few complimentary things about them. They seem to have some staff with great longevity at the restaurant. Its very hard right now to hire and keep quality dedicated and hardworking staff at almost any company in Lubbock right now. We have been seeing the same faces for at least 2 years which is awesome! Anothing important thing to mention is when something in our order is incorrect or not quite up to par, the manager always does their best to make it right. (No matter which manager is on staff). Ive hear the owner of Ikes also owns a few others in Lubbock, but none have the best staff like Ikes.

I have not been here since it was Capezies and I remember eating here when it was Zookings many times. THIS PLACE IS GREAT! We had brunch here on sunday and OMG it was soooo good. For a Friday night in Lubbock when the wait can be super long, we were able to walk in and get seated right away. Our server, Alex, was on top of everything during our meal. For entrees, we ordered shrimp Alfredo pasta (the homemade Alfredo was so good), a blue rare sirloin (my husband said it was the best he d had in LBK), salmon, chicken and a HUGE calzone. I cannot express how wonderful our experience was tonight. It was our first time to eat at Ikes, since were out of towners and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from the drinks to the service to the atmosphere to the food was superb...absolutely above par compared to most restaurants! I believe this is a new favorite in Lubbock for us! We went at 9:15 and they close at10:00. They assured us it was no problem & we got excellent service. Our waiter Misael was amazing! He got all of our orders right & was very attentive and fun. We love to go there. It is one of our top restaurants in Lubbock. The manager is AWSOME. The only thing I realized later (if I noticed sooner they would have corrected) is that we did not get the late night special for our Fried Zucchini and our drinks Old Fashioned and Lavender Martini - they charged us full price. Next time I will double check that.

Ordered a bayou pasta which was specifically stated as a Cajun Alfredo pasta. When it arrived, literally penne pasta (unsalted water when cooked), sauce looked like was made with chicken broth and a curdled gritty sauce. The chicken was good but a dish at a 17$ dollar price point had no vegetables added, just bread. My family dined and waitress was very inattentive, forgetting items. We spilled water due to kids cup being given to my child instead of cup being placed on the table. Our server did not clean or put a wet floor sign up at the least. If a patron would have slipped would have been a bigger issue. We spent a $100, leaving unsatisfied by the service and food. Not memorable at all.

Ike s adding $ s fee to all the bills !! I ve been here before This time was bad. wedge salad - sent back. Had that hard core on my plate. Got the same core when it returned - I just ate it as best possible. ordered the filet. Meat was more like a sirloin maybe mashed potatoes were cold steak plate came out about 10 seconds after my salad so that started spinning at the same time. noticed the added charge on my bill. Waitress was unsure about the extra charge. I asked for the manager. Waitress came back & said it s a crcd fee. It was on my bill before I paid with a credit card. This place is HIGH ON THE HORSE on prices. $12.00 for a CHICKEN SALAD??? I it cost us $42.00 for a salad and Some chicken on a plate. The Sweet tea wasnt good so i had to order lemonade, cause you cant mess up lemonade right? To high cost when you can go to TACO CASA and two eat for $12.00. So my chicken salad cost us what it would cost for two at Taco Casa. We wont go back.The service was fine but it just cost so much. We had dinner at Ike s Woodfire Grill on Friday night June 23, 2023. The food was amazing, the service was amazing, our server, Bevyn was so incredible. We both had the Oak Fired Salmon, I m keto and my date is gluten free, and they made sure we could eat everything on your plates. I only have one complaint about our evening there, and that would be the baseball sized hail, but Ike s couldn t have prevented that. It s at 4414 82nd St #218 almost on the corner of 82nd and Quaker, if you re in the neighborhood, check them out. You won t regret it.

I had the best experience hands down in about a year not only was the food delightful but the Service was off the chart !! Best smiles! our waitress checked on us MULTIPLE times !!! She was an awesome energy I believe her name was ( Angela ) blonde with and awesome smile we sat out side and enjoyed the patio and the Texas sunshine!!! The manager was supper friendly , very welcoming and fun to talk to he made sure we had fans and made us feel comfortable if we wanted to move to a different table or inside with the AC. The restaurant was VERY clean!! The margaritas were refreshing, food wait wasnt long AT all !! All and all Im one happy camper!! We enjoyed an incredible dining experience tonight at Ikes. Not only were we served some delicious food prepared by the great kitchen staff, we were also treated like royalty by our waitress, Paris. Paris was extremely attentive to my grandchildren as well as the adults in our party of 8, she took care of us like a seasoned pro. The food was incredible, both our appetizers and meals including Grilled Mahi Mahi, Charbroiled Chicken, Burgers and Chopped Steak all were prepared to perfection. This place is a gem!

We had an excellent experience here for Sunday lunch. The staff were kind and the food (which was awesome!) came out quickly. The manager visited with us and was very friendly. We have two under 2 and not only did they offer to refill our 2-year-olds food if it wasnt enough (although it was plenty, the serving sizes are pretty big), a waiter whose section we werent even in brought us some fruit for her before our food came out. Kids aside, we will be back -- seems like a great casual but still sit-down date night spot. Recommend you give it a shot if you havent yet!

The service and atmosphere was very nice. Both of the dishes we ordered, Baja Chicken and Hamburger had the Roasted Pablono Sauce. It ruined both dishes. It was not creamy as anticipated. It was thick and too flour thick. The twice baked potato seemed a little old and flavor was flat. The burger was dry because the sauce was so thick and goopy. The fried zucchini and ranch was delicious. The safron rice was very good. Also coconut creme pue was pretty good. While some things were pleasant, we didnt enjoy our food experience and it was $70 for the two of us. We had such a nice waitress we didnt complain however we are not likely to return.

The food and service here are awsome. My wife had a calzone and the wood smoke flavor and super crispy crust was fantastic and I had a club sandwich. It was a triple decker and was the best one ever had. My only regret is we were just passing through on a trip to Austin from Twin Falls Idaho. My husband and I went for the first-time last week. Ikes was a recommendation from a family member who stated the Chicken Fried Steak was great. We were not disappointed! I really like the sides with it and had the steamed veggies too. Our waitstaff was excellent. She made suggestions and told us about the favorites on the menu.
