This is the second time I have gone to Chili s here in Lubbock, Texas. And this is the second time that I ve had to send my burger back because it was raw. Unfortunately, for them this time, which is the second time they didn t even bother to bring out a new food for me at all. I waited over 20 minutes and finally I just said forget it cancel the order I m not paying for any of this. The first time I went to Chili s over here they did the same thing however they fixed me a new burger right away and brought it back and it was done. This time, of course as I mentioned above, they didn t bother. They just ignored me. I talked to the manager. His name was Fox. I told him what happened. He asked me about the second burger, and I looked at him and I said there was no second burger. They never brought anything back to me. So even though I know it wasn t his fault it was the the responsibility of the staff to make this right, they did not !!! I will never ever go to Chili s again in Lubbock. I do not recommend them at all.

I ve never had such good service at a chilis or any restaurant in Lubbock really. We had an awesome dinner experience at Chili s! Our server Isabel was the best. She was so inviting and informative about any questions we had regarding the menu. She made sure our drinks and chips were fresh, and checked on us throughout the meal to meet any needs. Our food was brought out in a timely manner, and everything was fresh, hot, and tasty! Ordered 12 boneless chicken wings - buffalo medium with fries. This came with 2 containers of ranch dressing as i asked for in the online order. Each of the contains was less than 1/4 full. Not enough to dip 4 wings in let alone 12. Is there a ranch shortage i am not aware of? Is the take out cashier hording it to sell it on the black market? The cost for this meal was 16 dollars and I couldnt even get 1 full container of ranch dressing? It has been over a year since I last ate at chilis and im pretty sure it will be much longer than that now if ever. Horrible place to eat , recommend avoiding at all costs. Go to Cotton patch cafe much better food and they actually give ample condiments and even plasticware with your food. ( Chilis didnt put napkins or plastic ware). Just clueless customer service too busy with playing games on their phones.

We went on a Tuesday evening. It wasn t busy, but it took forever to get seated. Then they put us at a table that was too small for our group. The server was pleasant and friendly. The appetizers were good. Those were the only bright spots. My Caesar salad had the dressing on the side and was not good. We waited about 45 minutes for our food. Everything was slow! Our visit lasted an hour longer than it should have.

I am a regular for this particular Chilis and Vance is my regular server and he is amazing as always and I came for my birthday but not only did they not have the secret sauce burger that I absolutely love the service assistant mixed me and my friends burger when they came out nearly an hour after we ordered them my best friends chicken sandwich came out different then what we normally get and then when the manager came out she was very dismissive of our concerns and frustrations about the meal then proceeded to only give us a plain remake of the chicken sandwich and made us pay for it. I probably only will come back for the drinks and Vance but being this heavily disappointed with the food and disrespect from management I will not be ordering outside of appetizers

I usually love this location, I come here all the time. Vance is my usual server and he is always great. However this time I went for my best friends birthday and not only was the chicken sandwich different and I had no way of knowing but I no longer wanted it (because it was completely different and tasted quite awful) but when they brought me a replacement they still made me pay for the stupid sandwich and I had only taken one bite out of it. I am very upset. Vance did amazing and the manager did everything she could but Im just a bit irritated that I still had to pay for something I didnt eat.

We went to eat right after graduation for my nephew. Food came out fast and delicious. Tina was awesome to us and made my nephew special day even better. We couldnt be more thankful for her charming personality. Parking: Parking was great. Kid-friendliness: Tina was wonderful with our kidos and excellent customers service. You can tell she has love and passion for her job. First time to this chilis location. I went there specifically for the food I saw on t v and the special price, but it did not disappoint. It was just their cheeseburger, but it was one of the better ones in town. My little one had the pepperoni pizza with fries, and we added corn on the cob, which was terrific. I also added eight boneless chicken wings, which were delicious and on the larger size. We splurged and topped it off with the chocolate lave cake.Chilis has the best vanilla ice cream. Kid-friendliness: Nice variety of options here for the kiddos.

Horrible service!! My food came out wrong and cold well not my salad that had brown old lettuce in it. My soup came out wrong the 1st time cold the 2nd time! My corn on the cob was old and cold. It took 30 minutes to get a old fashion burger, soup , salad , and corn on the cob just for it all to be cold . Our chips were cold we were there 48 minutes I didnt even get to eat! My husband felt bad so he didnt really eat his food either. I canceled my order it was already taking long just to remake me another salad and corn. Management came out said shes sorry and thats it. Were regulars there but this place and the service have gotten bad! Oh and our waitress never came back to the table but once. This Chilis has lost its shine. Used to be such a great location, but the building is showing its age, and the service is getting worse every time we go. Today, the place was half full, but they made us wait 15 minutes to be seated. Then, we ordered queso, which came out cold with a skin on top that made us think it had been sitting for a while. We then ordered food. Even though it wasn t full, or that busy, it took almost an hour to get our food. When we did, it was cold, and some was inedible because it was hard as a rock. Order was also incorrect. To make matters worse, Chilis has steeply increased their prices. A quesadilla is about $15, most appetizers were over $10, and regular entrees were about $20. I m sorry, but for poor service, bad food, and an aging building, it s just not worth the time or the money to go back. We started to say something today, it knew it wouldn t get us anywhere. Save your time and go somewhere else.

Edit updated today 03/18 - we arrived at 11:00 for lunch today. Brought our birthday girl with us. Planned on having a great meal and celebrating her day. They were great at first - brought chips salsa. They about 11:30 we started having to ask for refills - then they took our order. We waited and waited and waited finally about 12:45 we asked again for refills (5 of us) three had water. Finally at 1:00 we asked if our order was ever coming out. Yes maam - we are short handed today. Ok that would have been nice to know during our wait. ( We have eaten here before and food is always good). But today was unacceptable. No communication to let us know about the wait. Mean while other tables were receiving their food. Nope not us. The to go orders were on fast forward and everyone hat came to pick up never waited at all. So we left after talking to the manager and team. We only had chips salsa and water and two drinks ice tea and Pepsi. So we left. The receptions came running out to make sure we paid. After a two hour wait for food, really thats what yall were worried about. A good Manager should have came out and apologized and gave us coupons for next time. I dont see the irony in waiting 2 hours for food. Maybe yall will have a better experience than what we had. Probably will not eat here ever again. Sad 2/22/23 - Take out service. They were extremely helpful. We ordered the quesadillas salad plus shoreline State with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Well a piece or two of broccoli....came in super small portions. Guess restaurants need to cut back somewhere. The quality of food and quantity of food would not be where I would come back. The place wasnt busy. It was clean and the waiter that took my order was very sweet.

Host wasnt very helpful when we asked 3 times for a booth and all we got offered was normal tables even though I was able to see empty booths and pointed at it where there was people sitting on the next table, and the restaurant was about 35% capacity. Server wasnt attentive only got 1 refill of my water and it was towards the end when I was ready for my bill. I recommend the location on University over this one. Came in on a Tuesday night around 8:30pm. It wasnt busy at all. The two of us chose a table in the bar area. There was two other tables occupied with families who all looked annoyed and i soon found out why. Service was terrible. We werent acknowledged at all, even though numerous servers were passing by our table. Not a single hello or anything. As we waited we kept looking around and no one was getting service, but there were 4 employees standing right by the register at the bar just talking. It took exactly 27min before someone came to take our order. I timed it by the text message i sent when we first sat down. So we order, i ordered a beer and water, and my friend got a margarita. And since we didnt want to wait any longer, we decided to order our food as well. About 5min pass by and they bring out our waters, another few minutes and they bring my salad, but didnt bring out my friends. But there was no silverware given or any on the table. So im looking around again trying to get someones attention. Then finally i ask one of them as they are passing by can i please get some silverware? she says yes, ill be right back. Nothing ever came. Another 10min pass by and they bring out my friends salad, but still no silverware. So i ask again, can we please get some silverware? this person actually apologized and brought them immediately. As we are about to be done with our salads, is when they finally brought out our beer and margarita. A few minutes later they bring out our food. As we are eating, i notice that we dont have any napkins. So im looking around again and there are the same 4 workers standing at the same spot talking. So i ask, can we get some napkins please one looks over and says sure as she continues with her conversation. So since she didnt budge, i walked over to the bar and helped myself to the stack they had on the counter. Even with our frustrations i chalked it up as a bad night. What made me leave this review is due to the extra $3 charge i got for touching the little electronic thing on the table. I was trying to place my order on that when we initially werent getting service, but doing so, i was charged a game device fee. $3 is nothing, but the nerve to even charge that with the horrible service we got was just ridiculous. I havent been to chilis in years & this experience pretty much solidified why i will never return. Oh.. and the bottle of ketchup was empty, i didnt even bother trying to get their attention. I just grabbed one off another table

Our server Netty was an incredible hostess. She was professional and timely as well as incredibly kind and attentive. Our food was delicious and very tasty. The atmosphere is amazing and everyone is awesome and fulfills their role amazingly. We came here for my birthday and they sang to us and brought an ice cream sundae, which was so sweet. The second time in three months our to-go order was missing food or food was not cooked properly. The last time our Santa Fe Salad only had lettuce in the box. We waited for over an hour for food after we placed our order. We asked for our check because we didnt want to wait any longer. There were two people in my party and I ordered Baked Potato Soup. My granddaughter ordered a burger. It was around 8:45 pm on Friday night and the waitress had already mentioned that it had been a wild night. Later our waitress came back to the table and apologized saying the burger was ready but had just told there was no Baked Potato Soup and could I order something else. I ordered a Bacon Chicken Quesadilla with no sour cream and she said she would try to expedite the order and there would be no charge for my food. I thought that was very nice and said thank you. Less than 5 minutes later she brought out the burger and the quesadilla. Everything about the quesadilla was cold, not even warm and there was no bacon on it. Although I appreciated having no sour cream, I did not enjoy the quesadilla at all and ate less than half of it. I do not blame the waitress at all and did not mention the cold quesadilla with no bacon.

The bartender seemed annoyed that we were there, the waiter was kind but not very attentive, my food was good but my wifes was not, the food took almost 45 minutes and my toddlers meal that I asked to come out first was literally the last dish to touch the table. There was a long wait, the table that supposedly been cleaned was sticky. We ordered chips and salsa with queso, which took forever to get until we received after our main dish. There was no apology from anyone for the delay. 3 service came by and said would check on the order. The dish I ordered was nothing like on the menu. They were very tight with some of food. The very minimum, I felt ripped off for the price I paid. I like to get my moneys worth. It will be another 2 years before I go back, maybe it may be too soon.

The appetizer came out looking looks sad. It looks old and smashed. But we decided to just eat it anyway. When our main food came it was worse then our appetizer. The ribs looked like someone freeze dried it. Both quesadillas had the tiniest amount of anything on them. (Almost like for a kid or toddler) the fat part of the meat is all we got. The corn, toast and fries looked ok. We decided to just return it and leave. McD s had better food. The meal was taken off the check. We were informed this has been an issue . Our waitress was good.
