Very rude owner my first time ever walking into this place and the gentle man at the register was very rude and unpolite and made me feel like my presence isnt welcome as a business owner myself I would never recommend this place to anyone or for my family and friends or refer any of my business partners as well to this place.

From the moment I stepped in the restraunt the one owner Mr Robert greeted us and even humbly made us aware of some past in corrections in which he thought we were being a part of, But all in all he came Respectfully and With awesome people skills, and His Staff was just as Amazing. I love it here. The place is homey, nice, and the food is great. The tall guy who works there is always so polite to me. My mother and I come in maybe once a month. We leave very happy. Update: February, 2024- nice staff, immaculate restaurant, but skimpy, tiny portions. Bulk up the plates!!!

They stop making pizzas before close. Called 15 mins before and asked to get the biggest pizza they had. They declined. Everything was already cleand up. Should probably change hours of operations to close at 7:30 pm. Asked if they had anything up just to see if they would sell me anything. They said no.

A mom-n-pop pizza joint thats been there for years. We ordered by the slice, which can be made to order. The pizza was delicious! We also ordered side salads. I had the House Vinaigrette. Again. Delicious. Its located in old downtown Lubbock, where brick streets meander, and its decor probably hasnt been updated since 1970-something. We didnt care at all. The vintage decor only added to the charm. Oh, and they have the largest pizza that Ive ever seen - Texas size! It runs about $40. I can see it making a debut at a few teen get-togethers.

Went in and tried to get a supreme slice of pizza and was told they have never done that. Guess the new owner doesnt know the old owner always just up priced it which I was fine with. New owner is very rude and condescending. Got a salad and the ranch you could tell they watered down. After eating asked for a Togo box and got a bag for my salad and pizza . So asked the owner so put my salad on top my pizza... he gave me a salad to go box. Bad service and food just okay. Bring the old owner back

We were excited about coming to eat here. We get to counter to order & we are told they are not selling pizza by the slice. So we ended having to order 2 whole pizzas coz we all wanted different toppings. Then she proceeds to ask us how many in our family coz we cannot share cups. Based on 1 slice in one visit passing through- Solid joint for decent NYC style slices (by NYC standards). It would be middling in NYC, which is worth 5 stars in Texas, let alone a smaller city. I asked if the bottom surface is a little crispy, and they said they could do that, and they did without burning the top, which gave it a good structure and texture and it didnt make it particularly hard or too tough, though there was a bit of extra dryness toward the wide end. The cheese coverage was a little uneven, and the cheese flavor was a bit extra salty/savory/aged like theres some parmesan in there, while Id prefer it leaned more in the milder, creamy mozz direction; however the cheese texture is not dry or plasticky, nor excessively oily. The crust toward the point was a bit thinner than ideal so you lose a bit of the distinct fresh dough fluff there. That said, the crust is clearly from fresh dough and by far the closest to a good NYC slice I can recall having outside NYC. It has that critical gradient of thin crispy bottom with soft but cooked dough above, retaining some airiness through approx the outer half. The sauce is solid-- middle of the road in all respects, no surprises, good flavor and texture with about the right coverage. Id definitely take these reheat slices over something like a fresh pie from Grimaldis in Dallas regardless of the lineage.

We compare it to a grocery store frozen pizza thrown in the oven. We ate it only because we saved our appetite for it. Price was okay, though. Ordered a Monster size pizza. It was super salty and almost couldnt eat it. This was my favorite pizza place for years. It doesnt taste right anymore. Super sad about it. * update* The manager reached out to me to fix the issue and offered us another pizza. It means a lot that he followed up and was very helpful.

Amazing pizza one of my favorites in lubbock! From the warm crisp crust to the mozzarella that stretches from plate to mouth, this is a pizza place Id recommend ten times over. They also have fantastic fresh canolis.
