We showed up around 9:45 on a Saturday night with another couple and our kids (2 are college students age 18 and the other is 14). We were told everyone had to be 21 and over. There were clearly many other people with kids much younger than ours, but we werent allowed in. Super frustrating to go to Lubbock for family weekend and not be allowed in with my family!

I strongly recommend Atomic Lounge & Pizza Kitchen. We stopped in for lunch and I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. First impressions indicated (understandably so) that this was a venue tailored to the TTU crowd. The menu was interestingly unconventional; free pizzas had pizza sauce as an ingredient, I think one has grapes or something, lots of strange going on. It was all quite delicious. The portions were larger than expected. The service was on point.

I ordered the QT 3.14 with smoky sauce and the jalapeño poppers. The pizza sauce is amazing, but other than that the pizza itself was nothing special. The poppers were a crunchy, spicy, and creamy perfection. Our waitress, was enthusiastic and helpful with the menu and recommendations. Very spacious and clean restaurant. Overall a good place for a casual date.

We stopped at this pizza place on a trip. The brussel spout salad was interesting but you had to search for the brussel sprouts. Pizza was just OK. Service was ..not sketchy, friendly but spotty perhaps. Good college hang out for pizza. Wheelchair accessibility: Yikes, this place is in the middle of a block and while there is some curb parking ;the curb is VERY high. Parking lot is not that far. My wife uses a rollator so I think a wheelchair would be OK.

GREAT PIZZA! I happened upon this place by chance and it was absolutely fantastic. The pizza had a wonderful flavor and the crust had the perfect mix of garlic and butter - made great dipping into their sriracha/ranch sauce! (Caution - that will ruin you from wanting just plain ranch.) The staff was very friendly and attentive - I will definitely eat here each time I come to Lubbock! You will not be disappointed!

Update 2: Here we are, nearly 2 years later and still no word from the business, no refund, and no replacement for the terrible food they served me. Still telling everybody how awful they are and to avoid them. They could easily have avoided this by just making it right in the first place but they would rather have a formerly loyal customer go around and tell everybody how awful they are for the rest of time than just replace one order they screwed up. No accountability. No customer service. Not a care in the world. Does that sound like the kind of place you want to eat at? Update: Well, a year has come and gone and they never attempted to make it right or replace the disgusting food they gave me. Theyd rather lose a customer for life than own up to a mistake and make it right. (That is, if it even was a mistake. / Im still not entirely convinced it wasnt malicious.) Original review: I usually love this place. However, I often get the Last Call pizza. I hate sriracha and I usually dont like it on there but its not usually very much so I dont mind too, too much. However, tonight, I wanted to fully enjoy my pizza so I ordered it with no sriracha. Instead, they gave me 3 times as much sriracha as Ive ever gotten before so its just completely disgusting. Its everywhere. The crust is covered in it so you have to get it all over your hands just to try to pick up a slice. It seems as if maybe somebody just decided to be a jerk, like they were saying, Oh, you dont like sriracha? Ill show you. Ugh, what a waste of money. Speaking of wasting money, I also ordered a 20 oz Coke and they gave me a 16.9 oz Coke. Dont you just love getting less than what you pay for? I also asked for napkins and plasticware and they didnt include any.

Stopped by to check it out when I noticed their sign on broadway. Went in and ordered a meat blimp pizza. Staff was really nice and It was made fresh right there in front of me on the stone oven, didn t take long at all to get my order, and then it tastes amazing! Even came with Parmesan packets, red pepper packets, and a couple of cups of ranch too. Which was great because I forgot to ask for some, but they came through for me! Needless to say, I will definitely be eating here more often! 10 out of 10 Would highly recommend!

I loved the food! We had the QT, fantastic! Also the honey siracha wings which were excellent! The website prompted downloading the Slice app, which I did, reluctantly, and was pleasantly surprised at how easy and inexpensive it was. Definitely order from here again. Yum!

If you re going to order a cucumber chilton, order it from Henry. It is always perfect! I am also impressed by the wonderful service he provides every time my fiancée and I come in. This is our go to spot every time we are out on the weekends because the pizza and the jalapeño poppers here are amazing! Keep up the great work!

Not from Lubbock and wanted to try something new. Ordered a Blimp Meat Pizza and 2 20oz bottles of sprite. The pizza arrived almost exactly on time. Problem 1. The drinks were in foam cups. Not an issues except I wanted to take one on my job site tomorrow. Problem 2. When I opened the pizza it was just a pepperoni pizza. Not what I really wanted. Called Atomic and they couldnt do anything and told me to call slice. Called slice and they put me on hold to call Atomic. Then said they would issue a refund for the pizza in the next 5-7 days. At least thats a plus and the reason for the 4 star not a lower review.

We got a pizza for delivery an a pound of wings. The pizza was absolutely amazing best pizza I have had since moving here to Lubbock. The wings... well I dont know if you can call them thT, they were mush like a fatty fried mush which the texture alone was disturbing, a disgrace of a wing. an then I tried to resolve on the phone an they told me all complaints are addressed online so here is my complaint!!!

Seriously perfect pizza at a great price!! The crust was outstanding and they put a herb butter on the crust that added great flavor. Was driving through town and just stopped at a random spot. I am always willing to be patient for restaurants, especially ones that have items that take some extra care/time preparing. Unfortunately, I wouldn t expect a 40+ minute wait time for two personal pizzas on a very slow Memorial Day afternoon. There were only two other patrons in the restaurant at the time, and from our view, the oven seemed empty. Not sure if the server forgot to submit our order, but roughly 20 minutes into waiting, he came over to check on us and mentioned it was coming soon. We gave it 20 more minutes and with no additional check-ins and/or updates on our order, we simply got up and left. I hope the other patrons that seemed to know the bartender were having a good conversation, though. We ll find somewhere else from here on out.

I saw a review regarding foreign IDs - let me be the first to say on this platform and not the last, the owner is very discreet about certain ethnicities entering his establishment. Secondly most of the 5 star reviews are from the staff and family, and most 1 star reviews are reported by the owner to be deleted. I lost complete respect for the owner and some certain managers, as they continue to pull the selective ethnicity card and try to sweep it under the rug with their staff. Ive seen the door guys let individuals inside without being properly IDd many times, while waiting in the line. I will no longer attend this bar and will spread the word to friends and family.

The pizza is the best Ive found in Lubbock. And its affordable. You could pay the same amount for a large specialty pizza from a chain and it wouldnt be half as good, healthy, or as authentic. Id hold Atomics QT margarita pizza up to any in Italy when h lived there. Even more important is the fact that the people who work here care about the quality and taking care of their customers. When I goofed and inadvertently ordered two of the same pizza online, the manager could not have been more kind. He had another pizza made to order and refused to let me pay for the order I had screwed up. This place is a gift to the community, supporting the university, students, and residents. It will get my business from now on.

In todays word where it seems service is an afterthought, this place was quite refreshing. Actually came by chance as we had walked in another establishment on Broadway and several employees just walked by us like we weren t there not at Atomic. The place was busy but we were met immediately and seated. Server took our drink order and then we were constantly met with others asking if we had been helped or needed anything additional. Oh, and the pizza was REALLY good as well. Highly recommend.

Surprise in the 806! My husband and I came to see the Red Raider Basketball game in December and were oh so surprised with this cool place. So surprised we came two nights in a row. The first night we only had drinks and was enticed to return the following night for pizza. We ve been to New York and are true pizza fans, and the Atomic pepperoni pizza truly gives NYC some competition. It was absolutely delicious, especially the wings on the side Customer service was also very good even though there weren t many customers. Will definitely be spreading the word to fellow Red Raider Alumni on the deliciousness!

I was in Lubbock for two weeks for work. Came across Atomic from a quick Google search. Coworkers and I stopped by for supper and a drink. Ordered a Black and Red and the bartender recommended adding pepperoni. It was fired in a pizza oven on cast iron. It was fantastic. The balance of sweet and heat was perfect. The blackberries added the perfect sweetness. The crust was absolutely perfect. We also had garlic parmesan wings. I ordered a Crown-7 and it was mixed perfectly. The atmosphere was cool and laid back. The service was top notch. You also cant best the prices. I will definitely keep this place on my radar when Im down here for work.

The person checking IDs said my legitimate ID was a fake and wouldn t let me in or tell me why he thought it was fake. I even asked him if the cop could verify it and he said it doesn t matter I m still not getting in. Now this might actually be a great place to go for night out but they need educated people checking IDs. Or need to get a scanner. I won t go back. That was absolutely ridiculous

As far as the bar scene goes, its decent. Drinks are a bit pricey but tolerable. However this is not why Im giving it a one star. The one star goes out to the pizza and service side. Today i placed an order online at 8 to be picked up at 9:15. At 9:10 i go in saying my name and letting them know im here. They absolutely can not find my order and i show them what I ordered, order number and the location. After about five minutes they finally found it, under Chris, which i did not put. Once received, my order was cold and soggy. Will not be going back for the pizza.

Exactly like the other review says, they don t welcome any customers coming for a DoorDash togo order. No eye contact, talked impatiently, feeling not welcomed and ignored. I went back and forth, the bar staff and the oven staff were both told me to find the others at the first time and both acting impatiently... no eye contact while talking, even when I took my pizzas from the table. That s okay if the food was good because every staffs have their own temper and this s understandable. However, topping favor is good but pizza is a bit undercooked. I don t think they are doing Brooklyn style crust yet the crust is way too too soft/wet and cheese are not even a bit tanned. Ok probably they like it soft, but at the same time some edge is burnt. Also, the crust doesn t carry much wheat fragrant comparing to the other local pizzerias around campus. The fancy topping favor might worth trying but don t order togo.

Looked like a cool spot, never heard of this place...i went in for a doordash delivery,(where I usually find cool hidden gem restaurants)..unfortunately the people working here werent very friendly..no hey how are ya...nothing, just pointed to where to pick up my order..I get Im just a door dasher but you could make me feel welcome, anywho, I went to the back to pick up my order and the guy making pizza tonight 1/11 around 8 ACTED LIKE I WAS INVISIBLE, no eye contact no hello, no have a good day, SHEESH!!!! JERK. Well this is my rant, I gave 2 stars because I may give them another chance..they literally had 1 customer you Think they would treat everyone amazing to get more customers Im just one person, but this was my experience.

The pizza is good but the wings are ridiculous. Both are baked in a crazy big pizza oven with a turntable in it so the wings come out with this great crispy skin while still being super juicy.

The kitchen closes at 10 pm, the lights are always on is super bright, the bar tenders take for ever to get you a drink and the door guys are always letting people cut the line for money or if theyre friends ... so be ready to be standing in line for a while.
