My first time at Buddy Holly Hall, but I will be looking for a reason to return. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The seats were comfortable and the acoustics were incredible! Lots of food, candy and drink options at concession. My only complaint is the hallway for the bathroom on the first floor. It is super narrow and got crowded at intermission.

We attended the Gary Allen concert last night. Sept. 5th, 2024. We sat in the balcony, pretty close to center stage. We could not understand ANYTHING from the opening act nor from Gary Allen!! The band sound waaay over powered any singing. As much as tickets cost for these shows the sound should be outstanding. It was not!! The people next to us said they couldn t understand anything either. We did NOT get our moneys worth and left by 9:15. TERRIBLE!!!

A lovely venue where we have seen some great shows. Obviously, concessions are high, but that s the way it goes. However, tonight we took our grandchildren to see Bluey Live . The show was cute and the grandkids loved it and that s most important. HOWEVER, the show itself was a whopping 35 MINUTES!! They did add about 10 minutes of keepy uppy which was a fun final touch. But considering what we paid for those tickets, it was one of the biggest rip-offs of the century coming out to about $6 per MINUTE. Basically, they used children to get big bucks out of parents/grandparents, which is really shameful.

Ive been to BHH many times but last nights performance of the Cher Show was the worst one for sound. The sound was off so everything sounded mumbled. I hoped they would fix it during intermission but they didnt. When it ended, I asked others and they said it was difficult to hear the dialogue also so it wasnt just me! Sad way to end the season

This place is so fancy! Chairs are a bit small, but not as small as stadium seating. Incredible acoustics. Getting in and out is kinda difficult. Only really 2 sets of doors for the whole ground floor auditorium.

Buddy Holly Hall is truly a magnificent, world class facility!! The architecture alone makes it worth seeing. The acoustics are second to none! It is the home of Ballet Lubbock and the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra as well as a venue for many traveling performers. The Star Wars clip that is attached was filmed from the fourth balcony.

It is always a pleasure to attend events at the Buddy Holly Hall, whether in the big theater or the smaller one. The venue is beautiful and there arent too many bad seats in the house. I have sat at different spots throughout, and even in the nosebleeds was a cool experience. My only complaint would be that those seats at the top are much more narrow and, therefore, less comfortable than the rest. Snacks and drinks are a little pricey but not terrible. I love their collaboration with the local schools and allowing students to come in and perform on their stage for vocal and theater performances.

This was an amazing tribute to Lubbock,s own Buddy Holly! There is much to see and we really loved the interactive trivia machine about Buddy Holly. The Hall was welcoming and comfortable for taking time to see all of the collected artifacts and guitars. Definitely a place to visit when someone comes to Lubbock!

The facility was amazing however the security taking my pepper gel away from me telling me it could retrieve it after the show.was not. When I went to get it, I was told that it had been thrown in the trash. I went to one of the LPD officers there and asked about it, he confronted the security person who said that the boss man tole him to throw it in the trash.. The police officer went to the trash can and helped find my pepper gel. It was my first time attending anything there so I was not aware of the rules.
