The park has two playgrounds one on either side. Can fish there.has a pier. Walk path. Area for picnics. Close to Covenant to be able to take a break from Hospital.

A Nice, Quiet place to enjoy a mesmerizing view of the sky, great place to enjoy for children, also for walking, having a picnic with family and friends, the lake provides a scenic view. Nice place to pass some leisure time.

Playground: Theres a piece of play equipment for everyone! Toilets: At the community center on the south side there are restrooms, and by the main playground on the NE side theres some. Dog-friendliness: Anyone can take their dog, literally anywhere in the park. Picnic area: There are nice covered picnic table areas, lots of trees by the lake

This was my first time at this park. I use public transit and the bus stops at a park entrance. Restroom availability is a big plus for me. Having a large open area allowed me to enjoy my drone. I explored more with my drone camera as conditions were perfect for flying. A very nice lake, a playground for the kiddos (see photos), and there are ball fields, picnic areas as well as walking trails with workout stations. Everything was well maintained. It was my best park experience so far in Lubbock. I will come back and recommend this park. Playground: Large and well maintained. Plenty of close seating for parents. Toilets: Nice addition and glad it was available. Might have been just a little overdue for cleaning Picnic area: Available, I only saw them with my drone camera.

It was fun. Hot (103 degrees), but fun. Kids had fun. (Idk what day this was) Yesterday, (1/22/2023) it was cool but felt good in the sun. There were some kids there. Bathrooms closed for the winter. Porta potty avail.

Since the best view of Lubbock has been in our review mirrors, as per Buddy Holly, it is rather challenging to find a place to appreciate nature. This little park, however, had a surprising variety of wild water foul! There are some trees, a small pond which likely attracts said water foul, play areas for the kiddos, and a large grassy expanse conducive to leisure sports enthusiasts. Look, you cant compare it to large state parks of South and Central Texas or Central and North New Mexico, but for Lubbock it gets 5 stars.

A little slice of heaven in the most unexpected place. Playground: Multiple play grounds around the expanse of the park and lake Toilets: Clean restrooms Dog-friendliness: Great for dog lovers! They even have bags for their deposal! Picnic area: Many spots with benches and covered seating !

We really like here great spot for family hang out , cook out , small birthday gathering,just to let the kiddos let lose. Playground: Good size play area, plenty of room for some volleyball Toilets: Restrooms on both ends Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly as well ,but would recommend on a leash. Picnic area: It has some bench area, plenty of trees to chose from with lots of shade,or you can bring your own stuff for shade .

The park is extremely nice and well kept for the most part. Theres a small flock of Canadian geese and theyre actually nice and gentle. Only reason Im giving 3 stars is because there are no changing tables in the bathrooms but they do have a toddler station on the playground.

The park is beautiful but the slides and other things are quite old and need maintenance or replacement. The worst thing is that a park where hundreds of children play at the same time could be among the worst toilets in the world. It was not hygienic at all. This was a huge disappointment.
