We had our Red Hat Fall Fling at this facility. Everyone attending was very happy with the location, decor and the fantastic staff. Best one we have had in years, due in large part to The Womens Club.

I rarely leave negative reviews for businesses, but, like several others, I will never support this organization for the simple reason that they monitor and tow their completely empty parking lots. I parked in a lot that had NO signs, was 100% empty, during COVID, and it was close to dark (so after business hours), for exactly one hour. There had to be someone just sitting in a building watching me because it made no sense that I was towed. It cost me over $300 and led to me having to severely cut back on groceries -- a necessity -- for the month. I understand if I missed a sign or took someone elses spot -- but this is not the case here! With a mission statement that says promote, maintain and support the common good and social welfare of the people of the Lubbock Community, and to bring about civic betterment and social improvements it sure seems like they are more interested in stealing money from women. Why else would you fail to post visible signs? If you want to support the common good in your community, start with fixing this.

Useless people that exist to tow cars from one of the biggest parking lots in town.

What a waste of a parking lot. Everytime Ive been to any of the restaurants near by the parking lot is empty. And then to hear the stories of the people who have gotten towed when they have only been there 5min? GET A LIFE.

I went inside at 1:52, made an order at 1:54, and saw a poster saying to move your car if you are in the women s club lot. I walked outside at 1:55 and my car was gone, I went and asked a receptionist I believe and she yelled at me about how all the mean and rude people make it where no one can have fun. Basically it was a Karen and they have someone on the corner trying to take your car.

I absolutely love The Lubbock Women s Club. A wonderful facility for women to come and enjoy a delicious meal, meet new people, attend a Round Table event, play cards or games and many other activities we have at the club. Our manager and staff are the best you will find anywhere. Everyone feels so welcome and at home. We have something for everyone no matter your age. Best kept secret in Lubbock. You can get married at the club, have showers, receptions, and the list is endless. I encourage any lady that hasn t experienced the club to come by for a personal tour. You ll be glad you did.

The historic Lubbock Womens Club has been used for many decades as a venue for womens organizations and events - my cousins wedding reception was there in the 1960s!! I moved to Lubbock 5 years ago and have attended countless functions at the LWC since...private parties, community speakers, Junior League dinners, Christmas markets, monthly style shows, etc. I can confidently recommend the consistent high quality of the food, the service, and the ladies Ive met inside. This is a top Lubbock venue!

The Lubbock Womens Club has consistently provided a quality venue for excellent programs and events. I appreciate the way in which the 26 member Board of Directors and the 13 staff members who strive daily to provide delicious meals, as well as programs and project that provide important information and afford members of this community with a safe, pleasant environment for a variety of meetings and celebrations. I also appreciate a well-lighted, clearly marked parking area that is clear of clutter. Few 75-year-old, central city businesses are able to provide this level of service. As a member, I commend the ongoing efforts of the leadership for this unique organization. Thank you for maintaining this property (and for providing the quality of activities available at this site) in a very professional manner.

Imagine being me, a 17 year old high school student. Working a minimum wage job at a grocery store. Decide to pull over-time during Christmas break in order to get money to help pay a lot of the bills pertaining to my car, and family. The day after I get my 300 dollar overtime pay check decide to pick up a friend whose had a rough night at the fuzzys taco shop right across the street of the womens club parking lot. As I pull into the area among bustling traffic and crowded curbs, I decide to park in the vacant parking lot displayed below. I drive a sedan bodied car, with a tinted overhead. Completely miss the only parking restricted sign in that entry way which is suspended 12 feet in the air in a non-lit area, also didnt help that i was paying attention to the road. Come into fuzzys for about 10 mins to find him, come outside to find that my car is completely gone without a warning. spend 20 minutes calling my parents for a ride and also the towing company responsible for patrolling the lot, R Ps Heavy Duty Towing. Find out that the total to free my car is 271.65. When me, my parents and my friend get to the towing company, to give them my hard earned Christmas vacation money. I immediately enter to a scene where three towing workers are conversing over how one of the three was just punched in the face by an unhappy patron. One of the three towing workers by a closeted room starts talking, about how he hoped he had his gun so he couldve shot him on his way out. Workers say that they need insurance and a drivers license, explain that its in my car. One of the towing workers who happens to be a woman starts walking me to the tow yard, not realizing that my friend is tailing right behind her, we get to a screen door. As we leave the building and she starts to close the screen door she realizes that my friend is still behind us and for whatever reason she flips out and starts profusely asking him if hes okay, he promptly replied that he was alright of course. At this point I already knew that the entire place was sketchy, but this simply compounded my opinion. Get to my car as my friend is having a conversation with the woman. After I grab my insurance and get the payment squared away and free my car, my friend tells me about the conversation he had with the woman. As it turns out the charitable Lubbock Womens Club always has at least two members of the club overlooking the lot on busy nights, ready to call the towing company. So now Im sitting here writing this review having realized that i spent most of my break working, instead of spending time with my friends, family and my girlfriend just to have it all mean nothing. Thanks Lubbock Womens Club I appreciate my money going to the tow company. Much love, A minimum wage worker that tried to give a friend a ride

Not for Profit? Well all I know is that the Tow Company that tows for this place charges a ransom of $271 per car that parks there to go eat across the street at Fuzzys Tacos. I only wonder what the the Tow Company (Rps towing) pays this not for profit Womens Club. The goal of the Lubbock Women s Club is to promote, maintain, and support the common good and social welfare of the people of the Lubbock Community, and to bring about civil betterment and social improvements Really?? Well why dont we show some support and common good to your fellow neighboring businesses and allow parking at you very large and empty parking lot during your after hours? Shame on you Lubbock Womens Club for not living up to what your Internet page says your about. Here is another little snippit from your Internet page The Lubbock Women s Club would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our great City! We hope you find Lubbock to be a warm and friendly place to live. Wow! Texas Tech Students please take caution of this location. Your parents pay enough in tuition. They dont need to be paying these places for your dumb naive mistakes!
