Had a bow made for my Christmas tree. Trusted the judgement of the bow maker since she s professional. I was not satisfied and asked to either return it ( since they could use it in the store) or get store credit. I spent a lot of money in the store this day, but staff was unwilling to work with me in any way. Will never spend another dime in there.

I visited Holland Gardens Tuesday September 5th and was once again reminded why I dont shop there. The employees are SUPER rude and unhelpful. 2 out of 3 of the employees barked at me when I asked a question. One of them didnt even look up as she barked. I will NEVER return and Ill continue telling this story to all of my gardening friends as well.

Awesome place with plants and gardening decor and utensils. Lighting for Christmas decorating and garden parties. They change stock seasonally accordingly, I got a planter and 4 fly swatters. I already lost 2 of them.

I have ALWAYS loved Holland Gardens!!! I will never forget when they used to be on 34th street and going as a kid to see all of the animated characters at Christmas time. It was always a one of the favorite places to go then. Wish I could turn back time for my grandkids.

Holland Gardens is your Go to place for all of your Christmas needs. They have everything from Trees (of all sizes) to decoration. they even have several different Themed sections in the store. If you cant find what you are looking for in here, just ask the staff and they will be more than happy to assist. We hop to see you there!

There are no returns during the holiday season. We bought lights that weren t long enough and didn t work and there was no way to know this until we got home and adequately measured, coupled with how the lights looked aesthetically. We never even took them out of the bags. I called the manager upon returning home and told her that we never routinely shop in the store so a store credit wouldn t benefit us in any way. She said that s how the owners want the store to operate during the holiday season and proceeded to tell me that is was fine and hung up on me. Never go to this store or give them your business. They clearly have no interest in returning or maintaining customers, or operating correctly during the holiday season. We will be mentioning this experience to others that we know in the community.

Walking into this store I had no idea how beautiful their Christmas displays were. I was presently surprised when I went inside. I highly recommend this shop for all of your Christmas needs. We go there every Christmas for a little bit of Christmas shopping. They always have wonderful ornaments, trees and decorations. The cashiers and the woman working in the light area could use a little bit of training on being friendly. But the lady that helped us with the miniature tree section was very nice and helpful.

Staff is super rude all the time! I want to love this store, but their arrogant staff keeps me from buying anything. Yes, they have a large selection of cool stuff, but that does not make up for their attitude. In addition, many of their items can be purchased online or at other local stores and their prices are also much higher than other stores.

Terrible customer service!!!! Got to the store around 5:05 went straight back to the custom cut Christmas lights section and waited in line about 15 minutes. Finally got waited on (random customers would walk up and they would help them and walk off). Went directly to the front and paid (had to wait in another line because there was only one cashier). Went directly back to the back and waited another 15 minutes to be told at 5:47 that he couldn t cut my lights today and I would have to drive all the way across town to pick them up tomorrow. I am sorry, but if a customer has already paid and waited that long, you take care of them. This was my second trip there today and we spent quite a bit of money there. Ridiculous! I will not be giving this establishment my business after I pick up my lights tomorrow. So much for buying local.

What a beautiful place - so helpful. We bought lights for the house for Christmas. So helpful and told us excally what we needed. Plus SANTA was there !!! So exciting. What a fun place to visit and so many tree ornaments. Did you know they make custom bows here. The lady here who does them is amazing. Trees, ribbon, lights ornaments and more ...Ill be back for sure!!! Plus thank you for the help on lights. We can not help to put them up.

We spent a lot of money on Christmas lights here. We bought 188 LED lightbulbs got home to put them up and they actually only have us 161 light bulbs. We went back to the store and the guy simply said that happens sometimes and we had to REPAY for the 27 bulbs THEY shorted us. Awful experience.

I was surprised! Have you ever been there? Today 9/24/2020, there is a small Halloween section for home decor and there is a full Christmas Winter Wonderland there for home decor. There are beautiful green and purple leaf cabbage to decorate your winter garden and trees are on sale!

I am so proud that Holland Gardens is a part of Lubbock because they truly represent our town! They are the nicest, kindest, most helpful people ever!! They let you browse without being pushy but if you need to know about something they are right there to answer! I was impressed with the knowledge and helpfulness of the employees. Also, Holland gardens carries a large variety of natural and organic products for people that want to go that route. They were the only ones in Lubbock that had a liquid calcium magnesium product available. I would recommend this garden store above the other garden stores in Lubbock.

We absolutely LOVE Hollands! Ok so my husbands family had a tradition since he can remember their mother would take them here every year about Christmas time to pick out a tree ornament of their choosing with their name and year engraved. Me and my family were not as fortunate but not a reason to deny our daughter of the wonderful opportunity to do the same. 8 years weve done so with her and I absolutely LOVE just LOVE and look forward to doing this. Its not even so much the ornament but our Christmas wouldnt be the same if we didnt go and see the beautiful scenery they always display. Not to mention the santa clause always there for the kids at no cost, thats right NO COST and your allowed to take pictures on your cell or any device for that matter sure does beat south plains mall santa. Now weve never taken advantage of this, Im not sure I could actually tell you why but we oh so enjoy. I guess you could say its become our traditional as well. Hmp! I just now realized this! God bless America and bless you all as well. Give thanks to this beautiful country state city community and neighbors for we are all blessed to live in the greatest country on earth. Very unacommadating. DO NOT buy anything and expect to return it except for store credit. I bought a string of lights several years ago from Holland Gardens.
