Im so happy I took the advice from a friend to use attorney Mr. Carey Thompson. My case took a little longer due to Covid but I won my widow disability case without any problems.I highly recommend this attorney. They do not care about what is happening with you and focused on the money and being paid, pretty usual for lawyers. We lost a family member and Carey Thompson did nothing to make the process go smoothly. My family member had to get up while in extreme pain to get into a car and suffer through the drive because Carey Thompson did not want to get up from his comfortable office chair and get a traveling notary. Please if you care about your loved ones and their health do not use this office unless you want to be treated terribly. He made the last months of our loved one s life a living hell as well as the process after they passed. Response to Owner: I have never spoken to you and have simply been in the background of conversations you have had with my family. I have no connection towards you besides you being a bad person to my family. Your house call was dropping papers off and leaving. You were very aware the short drive was very difficult because I heard what was said in the phone call, and made sure to communicate how it was a strain on them. It was a month or two before cancer had taken their life and they could barely get out of bed, but you said there was absolutely no way. When in reality you did not want to hire a notary and bring witnesses to their home because it was too much work and money. My advice for you, sir, is to focus on more surface level cases because you are apparently unable to connect to families on an emotional level and have empathy.

This attorney was extremely rude, IN MY OPINION he is only interested in cases that will make him rich and not about helping people who are paying him anyways! Disgusting attitude and in my many years of dealing with a multitude of attorneys for different cases, I ve never run across one so rude from the moment he answered the phone. His first and ONLY question was how much money does our harasser have despite us saying that s not what we re in it for and regardless we re paying.

Carey Thompson & his office worked fiercely, for my cause. I truly believe that he knew how important it was to me and my family. He realized the injustice of the situation. I have been fighting Social Security Disability for what I at least 7 years now. I have grandmal & petimal seizuire with no warning as to when they will happen. My cognitive skills have been tested & the results basically came back that my memory has suffered dramatically from all the scarring that the seizures has left on my brain. SSD denied my claim, saying I had improved before I found Mr. Thompson. But with his help he was able to make the ALJ Judge see there were 0 jobs I would be able to safely do. However for whatever reason the Judge still ruled against me. If I had to go back in time & choose any attorney, I would still pick Carey Thompson. He made a good argument & a convincing one with sound medical proof from more than one of my doctors saying I was not able to work. However the Judge disregarded the evidence & denied my appeal 2 times. Me. Thompson was then good enough to give me a good referral for Federal Court. Lost my disability case because he failed to obtain the proper records ... literally contacted me 45 mins before my court to go over my case he failed to obtain proper records in a timely manner , didnt fill missing gaps. He was extremely rude every single time we spoke on the phone. Never ever had answers to ANY of my questions. Doesnt even have the decency to contact me to let me know we lost the case. Sends me a freaking letter in the mail. Im absolutely and utterly disgusted by his unprofessionalism. What an absolute joke. If u want to lose your case be sure u contact Carey Thompson attorney at law. JESUS!!

I filed for SSDI on my own thinking since I had a 100% VA connected disability rating through the VA that I would be approved. I was denied about two months later. I googled online ssdi attorneys near me. I decided to call their number. They sent a packet for me to fill out and the rest is history. They filed my appeal for reconsideration on 6/12/2018. Yesterday at (8-19-18) @ 8:01 AM I received a call from the Fort Worth social security office telling me I was approved. To be honest it s still unbelievable to me. I thought for sure I would go in front of a judge some day and possibly even lose that. Then start all over. Call this law office if u feel u deserve benefits that were denied to you. They will get you what you are deserved. God bless and thank you Carey Thompson and your team of professionals who got me approved.
