the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff is super friendly. however my only complaint is that the baristas tend to not make drinks according to the customers needs. the barista makes my coffee with 90% sugar and 10% coffee despite telling her i only want the tiniest amount of syrup. this has been the case every single time i ve decided to visit. im a bit disappointed that the staff cant take the time to listen. also the amount i paid was never the same each time despite getting the same thing every time

Really cute place, had a lot of people chatting in it but a lot of seating. Had the mexican mocha and it was really good, one of the best coffee places Ive tried since moving here.

Hands down one of the best coffee shops in Lubbock. The ambiance is super chill and they have a set of chair swings indoors that give it a little something different but cool. The coffee was excellent. We had their Carmela and Mexican Mocha and they were hands down the best signature brews weve had in Lubbock. Ive lived here for 17 years and have visited several shops over the years. If you are wanting a very cool coffee shop with great coffees, pastries, breakfast burritos, and sandwiches then stop by. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is great since it is halfway between the Texas Tech campus and downtown.

I started coming to this place when it first opened (about more year ago). One thing I loved more than the drinks was the music that they played. Now EVERY MWF, this one worker ONLY plays Taylor Swift... it gets tiring hearing only one artist for more than 4 hours straight . CHANGE THE MUSIC. or just avoid this place when its the mornings if you dont like this too lol.

Beautiful building. Loved the charm. The guy who helped me was low energy and seemed distracted. It was not busy at all. But it was evident that he was slowly getting food to people. My chai was gross. Very watered down. He recommended the cinnamon swirl GF muffin. It was gross too. He also forgot to give it to me. So after waiting for 20 mins I walked back up there to remind him. I went up and asked for a cup of ice water. I was surprised they served me facet water. Lubbock doesnt have great water. My whole 1st experience was not great. I shouldve read these reviews to know NOT to get the chai as other had indicated. It was quiet enough that I stayed for 3 hours working.

The couple times Ive come here the staff havent been very friendly. Theres a few that are but most are low energy. Thats not very good for business. The pastries Ive gotten here have not tasted very good as youd think and they do not give them to you warmed up. The drinks are very sweet so I usually have to ask for half. The place is very nicely decorated and the Mexican mocha kept me coming back for a while.

Such a cute place! There s not many places here in Lubbock like that so I was pretty amazed when I found out about this place! The Mexican mocha was pretty good! My only complaint is the gnats!!! There were way too many gnats where I was sitting! (towards the back by the windows). It was pretty distracting tbh but still managed to complete my assignments.

They have the best lattes here. Once we discovered this coffee shop we keep returning. They have a decent selection of muffins as well as burritos that make it the perfect breakfast/snack stop. Not a lot of seating inside and it is close to the Tech campus so it ll be busy with college students. However I love that not all of the seating is hard wooden chairs and we try and snag a comfy chair asap.

The Big Tom is great! It s obvious by the decor, that I m not their target demographic, but it s close to work and they make some pretty good drinks. I have had their espresso shots and they are good by themselves. Also, I appreciate that the baristas take the time to properly care for their equipment instead of just churching out drink after drink. It makes me confident that I m getting a high quality product! The music is always interesting too!

Took about 45 mins to get our order. One of our drinks was incorrect, the chai had too much milk and tasted watered down, and they forgot to give us the pastry when we payed. Trying to just get their attention to ask for it was difficult. Other people gave up and left without a refund or their drinks. Not worth the wait. Cute atmosphere, though.

Cute if you want to get a selfie. No possible way to get any actual work done. Bar stools are too low to sit with a laptop, the AC is blasting, and no plugs if you sit at an actual table. Nice baristas, but this isn t a place to study/work

You walk into this place and are just blown away by how beautiful it is. The staff is super friendly, the drinks are AMAZING, prices are good, and the atmosphere of the place makes you want to stay all day. It s a wonderful addition to Lubbock in that it offers something unique and refreshing opposed to the modern Starbucks look and feel of coffee shops.
