Its dangerous! They dont have staff watching the people playing. Edited: Let me explain further since the owner replied incorrectly that they have staff at every attraction. My daughter was on the Ninja Course (that in the past has had an attendant and in fact, did not on the day the incident occurred). She was doing the zip line and was literally HUNG from the rope on which she was swinging from. They have every attraction so shut down that I could not (as a general admissions wrist band holder) get into her to help her. She had to get herself out of the attraction (that I was sitting 2 feet from when the incident occured). She has bruises and is incredibly sore. My only hope in posting this notice is not a negative reaction from the owner, but rather a proactive reaction where as they take this incident and learn from it to ensure the safety of all people who come to this business. We will not be returning.

MINI GOLF REVIEW: The mini golf is super boring!! There s no exciting tunnels or obstacles. It s just straight shots and green holes - no tunnels, no bridges, no dragons, no windmills. Nothing you would normally expect from a classic course! Super disappointed. We played through both courses and they are both pretty much the same boring 18 holes. Don t expect greatness or thrills from this course :((

Updated to add: there is NOTHING in writing on the pass that says it is limited to one per family per transaction. We received ninja zone passes from an event and I was only allowed to use one out of 4. Plus I pay to a $9 spectator fee to watch my kids play which is absolutely ridiculous, we just had to pay to be here instead of it being covered like it should have been. Not to mention the fact that they can t leave the ninja zone for any reason, even the restroom, and get back in to play.

I was extremely nervous about being two toddlers and a 9 year old to adventure park by myself. While it was tough Lilah, who was working Ice skating, was Extremely helpful! She helped my son put his skates on, helped my niece skate, and when I told her I had had foot surgery she offered to help my 3 year old so I didn t have to put on skates. Once we were done she sat and conversed with my niece for as long as she wanted to talk. So shout out to Lilah for all her help and kindness! The world needs more people like you!

The staff was very nice, but I was unable to finish mini golf with family because of the hoard of mosquitos on the course. I wasnt expecting them to be out midday, so I hadnt brought my own spray with me. I would recommend they spray for mosquitos since they have several areas of standing water in their outdoor area.

In response to your follow up, see photo: also, my wife mentioned zip line many times when checking in and not once did the girl helping her eve correct her. She spoken about the waver and my wife confirmed she did it online and the girl told her the other waver was for the rope course and again my wife said zip line, never told it was down. We came last year specifically for the zip line and feel like a lot of people probably look forward to that. If you have something like this offered at your park but it is down, you should probably make some note about it on your site. Sold us a package including the Zip-line even said here sign the waiver for the zip line. Get up there it s only the rope corse. The employee said it s closed due the the lack of inspection. The Zip Line is all over the website. Feel desperate. If traveling here from out of town AVOID THIS PLACE. BAIT AND SWITCH.

Just to find out half of every attraction was closed, on top of that the managers were rude did not want to refund us or explain to us why we couldnt get out money back, on top of that when you bust your butt over 90 hours a week just to give your family a enjoyed experience, its heat breaking I will not come back here ever, if I knew I would have to spend $200 on a event place, I would rather go to main event at least they care and have more things to do that are money worth. My family and I recently visited Grandparents in Lubbock and they took us to Lubbock Adventure Park. We have four kids, ages 9,7,6, and 4 and there was something for all of them to enjoy! We all rode the go karts multiple times and my kids had a blast spraying each other in the bumper boats. There s also a maze of ropes/bridges with a full 360 view of Lubbock if you go all the way to the top! The mini golf was a great way to end the visit off, but there also is an arcade inside for those who need to cool off. I m sure there were other attractions I missed, but I would highly recommend this place to anyone, no matter the age!!

We used to love this place but when we went to use the free Ninja zone passes from the library, they wouldn t accept more than one pass per family, unlike previous years. We had to pay for the other kids (even though they had earned their own individual passes from the summer reading program) for us to use a pass. They said we could come back another time to use the other passes individually but no thanks ($$$). Very poor communication and zero advertising about the change in policy.

I had to pay to watch my kids play at the ninja zone (9$) and just a warning if you have free passes from Halo they will only let you use one per visit (but it doesnt specify that on the free pass). Also, they dont let you bring in water. The place is clean and staff is nice but it feels like you are getting nikel and dimed the entire time.

I never complained or had an issue when it was a price for the day and go but when staff reasons burn your time and a parent who pays the bill has to pay a spectator charge it s not right. We use to play some and eat at the pizza bar and play more now just play and go because we are just a number anymore Not a good value

Since we werent in a party room, they wouldnt allow us to bring our cupcakes or gifts in to the facility. We were also now unable to purchase a pitcher of soda either. Instead we were charged $3 per bottled/ un-refillable beverage and didnt see a drinking fountain anywhere. We watched them deny someone bringing in a baby bottle with a bottled water for their formula too. Food is descent but they really get you on the regular beverages, almost cheaper to purchase alcoholic beverages!!! Service is great, employees are kind and we understand they are just following policies.. but dang some are just stupid!!! It is expensive but the boys had a blast!!!

Edit* I m giving it another star bc the party manager Anne did reach out to try and make it right. Though it s not the same as having family and friends able to come, he is able to spend a weekend having fun with a few friends. They offered him go cart ride and laser tag, that has a time limit on it to use, it was a very nice gesture to do. We had my son s birthday party there with his friends yesterday (Sat the 24th ) we have been to adventure park before this and had a blast as a family. So I figured he would have a blast with his friends (turning 15 and all). I asked the day I booked if they would have to wait in line or anything bc they only get an hr, she told me no and they don t expect a big crowd for that day cool I ll get the unlimited package which is pretty expensive. We get there at our scheduled time and took 28 min to even get to the desk to get our reservations. I asked again bc it was clearly busy and they booked 3 birthdays at the same time. Was told no you shouldn t have to wait and the party s should be able to go together. Paid 400$ for my son to ride the go carts 1 time and he couldn t even ride with all his friends that was included in his package , and bc of all the lines they just decided to play golf because they couldn t get through the lines as a group for go carts again. This kind of sucked for him, there isn t a whole lot here in Lubbock to do for teens in February. So I was counting on them saying they wouldn t have to wait, bc I would have booked another day and have had no problem doing that on a less busy day. But twice I was told no you don t have to wait bc you only get an hour of unlimited play..they spent 33 min and 17 seconds waiting in line and the one time they did get up there finally as a group said play time limit reached. It was just complete madness and I felt bad bc the boys didn t have to much fun together, and then disappointed the fact I paid 400$ and received only one go cart ride for 4 people and the others got tired of waiting they went played golf which for that I could of just spent 100$ got them each a ride and saved 300$. If your going as a day thing with family great it would be fun but I wouldn t spend money on the birthday packages when it s cheaper just to buy the ride per person, sad thing is when I went up and talked to her at the end about it she said sorry and shrugged me off took my number and that was it.

IT IS A HIDING FEE along my Year Season pass. they are cheating! I went to the park several times and never charged me a fee, because I dont play the games and attractions at all, only my child plays, and every time I only buy a fun pass for my child and thats it. yesterday I bought a season pass for my child, and today when we checked in , I was asked to pay a general admission fee, I said I was never charged that fee before because I do not play anything, but I was told by the manager the reason was they forgot to charge me. I was very confused as I went there several times, why every single time they all forgot to charge me ? and when I looked around in the park , I spotted most of the parents NO band on their wrist, that means they did not pay the general admission fee. Now if I want to use the season pass, every time I have to pay 10 dollars to get in, or I have to buy another season pass for myself. The season pass price is attractive but they did not tell me that I have to pay the more than $10 admission fee each time using it. Update: the company replied my review that it is not a new policy. they did not follow their policy until I bought the Season YEAR Pass then told me they had the policy and started charge me each time going there. I would give negative stars if I can.

Read before you visit. I am from out of town visiting Lubbock and saw Adventure Park on the list of top attractions. Spent $36 per person for 2 hours unlimited play Nobody was there, literally nobody. Should of been my warning to skip it altogether but we purchased the 2 hour play. Went outside to the tower, wristband scanner didnt work - had to find an employee to manually open the gate. Holes in the netting, feet can fall through. The slide had a puddle of water at the base, not exactly my idea of a good time. Tried the go carts, my died and made a Loud popping sound, my daughters lost power as well. We were there for 15 minutes and only did those two things and realized how 2 hours would be serious overkill for the condition of the park and the fact that we were the only 3 people there. Went inside to discuss partial refund. I was more than willing to pay for the two attractions we did do and receive a refund for the difference. Nope. Hard no on any type of refund. They did offer a credit towards the arcade games to compensate but I declined. We spent $116 for three 2 hour passes - spent 15 minutes in total there before I went to the front desk to discuss options. 15 minutes in total, they confirmed that with the receipt. He stated that the receipt says no refunds, true it does. But the receipt comes after the transaction is completed. He stated it also says that on the door, but whos looking at the door about refunds when they believe they will be having a great time - nobody does. Kai the owner walked passed my husband and daughter and kindly greeted them while they were waiting for me to finish with the manager at the desk - she went into the back room. I asked this manager to speak with the owner and he said they werent there and cannot be reached - my husband explained that Kai just walked passed them and said hello so she had to be in the back. The manager walks back there and says that Kai is sick and wont come out to talk to me. So we left. I did not raise hell on this, I remained calm and professional and tried my best to work with them. As a business owner myself I cant imagine treating a customer like this- let alone feel comfortable keeping their money with an experience like ours Dear Kai (owner of Adventure Park) I truly wish that you would of handled this better and at least come out to talk with me. You are the owner and chose to hide in the back while you had your manager who kept saying this was supposed to be his day off hold firm on the ridiculous concept of not issuing any type of refund for this type of experience. The park must not be doing well financially if this is their stance after 15 minutes. This review is meant to protect any future visitor from throwing away good money as we did today.. I hate to give bad reviews to small businesses as they are the backbone of America, but this is a terrible stance and bad business practice and i cannot support this. Save your money. $116 in todays day and age could be better spent.

This place is probably alright for the summer time but as fall settles in a lot of the attractions were closed. Pricing is little scaled as if you were going to a theme park. I think the setting was good with indoor and outdoor activities. We got a 2 hour pass and we used probably 1.5 hrs of it but doing go-carts and bumper boats repeatedly.

This was disappointing really, pretty expensive for what you get. Literally only saw 3 total employees inside & outside. 2 of them were pretty rude. Go cart track needs some serious help .really rough even a 7yr old commented on how rough the track was. We went on a Friday & NO one else was outside. The little restaurant wanted way to much money for everything plus no employee at the counter to even order stuff. Inside the arcade part again no employees. There were maybe 5 families inside. Total disappointment to say the least.

We had such an amazing experience at Adventure Park this last weekend. Annie the manager on site was so committed to us having a wonderful and stress free experience. The pizza that we had included with our party was DELICIOUS which was shocking, as children centered entertainment establishments are not known for their great food. However, the pizza was absolutely yummy and certainly a crowd pleaser with my family. There were also other food options available, should you have a weirdo like we did that does not like pizza ;) They also made sure to bring out our special order with everyone elses food so no one felt excluded. The rides and entertainment features were all of your standard fun that you would expect, but I was so impressed with the staff and how completely responsive they were to making sure that our experience was awesome. Thank you guys we will definitely be getting season passes!

This was labor day weekend and still cant recieve my refund. This is the thing that happens when you hire the youth of today. This place is not my favorite. Stay away. Your better off spending the gas money and going to Six Flags. Probably cheaper.

Young gentleman that spoke with my husband said since we couldnt book in advance just to rent a cabana and we shouldnt have any issues with brining in a small cake. Come today we bring a cake and its the end of the world young blonde girl in front was being a little dramatic. She spoke with the party coordinator and she also had a issue with us brining in a cake when we were told otherwise. We told them who we spoke with and they said he was a new guy and didnt know anything. But we could pay extra money to bring In a small smash cake when we just spent 400 dollars already. Also our cabna came with small swamp cooler and fan either worked I asked twice about fixing n young lady in the front never Sent anyone.

I took my family a few days ago to play mini golf and ride a paddle boat. We had a great time playing mini golf. The paddle boat was a different experience. We were on the boat for less than 5 minutes before we had gotten stuck. We had spent a good 20 minutes trying to unstick the paddle boat. During this period, there was no employee in sight. While trying to free the boat, I had attempted to call adventure park to ask them to send someone to help but was unable to get ahold of anybody. After this 20 minute period, an employee preparing the Zipline saw us and got help. After this, I went inside to notify management that we spend all but a few minutes of our time stuck and that there was no employee around to help us at the time. I found a manager and began to complain. The manager cut me off before I had a chance to state that there was no employee out there so ask she heard is that we were stuck for 20 minutes before she walked away to make a phone call. When she came back all she had to say is that all they could do was let us go back out on the paddle boat and there was no other form of compensation for us since we had boarded the boat (even if it was for about 5 minutes before getting stuck.). At this point we had no interest in the possibility of getting stuck again so we left. The biggest frustration was not the lack of compensation, but it was the lack of staff attentiveness, and willingness of management to listen and do something about us being stuck with nobody to help and no way of contacting a person on the phone.

Then he checked ALL OF THE KARTS! THEN he walked the entire track in 102+ heat just be sure it hadn t fallen out! I was so thankful for his efforts and concern for me. Turns out I had left it in their ladies room It s not every day someone that age goes to that length to be helpful! Very poor service and overpriced and ridiculous rules. I thought Id take my 3 daughters to go climb around on the rock walls and the adventure tower area. Upon checking in that I couldnt bring my bag of snacks nor any drinks. So went and put my granola bars away, and if you want anything to snack on, its like going to an NFL game, your going to spend $50 just on a quick snack, water, coke, whatever for your kids. Makes it very unaffordable. I was told to leave my water and cup of coffee I always carry my pocket outside too. Upon filling out waivers and going to pay, the front desk lady asked how old my oldest 2 were. About the same height, but one is 6, one is 4. She said to my kids and I, ohhh great, the older 2 are old enough and big enough to climb the rock wall. They were excited. Get out to the rock wall, and my 4 year old was literally the exact height of the height cutoff and a snobby little 15 year old told me that she wasnt tall enough so I had to deal with one of my kids being told at the front she could do something only to have her come to tears cause some highschool age kid cant reason. And then at the end on this hot day, went to get a cold water out of a vending machine that I was forced to buy, for $3. Wasnt even cold. Horrible experience and a rip off. Wouldnt recommend ever to anyone.

There was also no communication from Adventure Park with the school about any and everything the kids wanting to do, needing extra money. I hope ANY schools considering this as a field trip, get ALL the details before booking. Also, it seems there are A LOT of recent poor reviews of this place with nothing but management sweeping things under the rug and the owner justifying having poor management. No thanks. I hope something else opens up in Lubbock soon. I also checked with the teacher, when my son came home sad after a field trip here, before posting this review. So Im sure I have correct info. :)

Im giving it a three because I did my sons bday there in the 7th but I had purchased the family fun pass and I bought game cards and I also bought 6more rides on the go karts. Unfortunately we had to leave early although I purchased the package my son had gotten severely sick and his nose would not stop bleeding. It was really hot that day but I asked that front desk if I can save the package for later and come.back because my son or my family and I couldnt enjoy ourselves for my sons bday and would like to go back another time so we can enjoy ourselves. He had said no because I purchased the family fun pack and it could only be used that day. I spent about $200.00 and we really were not able to play games, ride the rest of the 11 go karts that I purchased that day, and finished the rest on the family pack, so I had to give it to someone that can use it, I was so devasted because I purchased all that for my sons bday to enjoy. I dont think that I would recommend my son to go there for his bday anymore. And also because it was so so hot there was no trees to cover us. And they took my water bottle away because I knew something like that would happen to my son. I dont think I would go back again. I didnt ask for a refund I just informed him if possible I can go back at a later time to finish using the rest of the packet. Unfortunately another place I would not recommend in this case. I mean it isnt like an amusement park. I just dont see why the reason we could not use it another day.

Today was my first time going, and Im going to give my honest opinion. As far as the park itself, it was nice and fun, it was pretty clean for thr most part the water boats were a bit dirty from previous rain, a nice spraying would do justice. The indoor arcade is nice, the Go-Karts were fun, a bit of a wait, but need to make sure no one is allowed to cut in line, it was some teens that cut in front of us to be with one of their mother and it kicked us back hafting to wait 2 more races, should put a sign up or something other than that it was fun. The climbing set yall have at the very top and the 3rd story part, some of the floor is a bit week, and some of the railing needs to be tighten a bit, especially from thst height but over all the quality was good. The golf course is nice, some of the courses that have tunnels are cracked so the ball gets stuck, that could easily be a dress with a patch of cement. The paddle boats shouldnt even exist untill that water gets cleaned up its very filthy but lots of potential. Its fun for the price point we managed to stay out there 5 hours, how?i have no clue, bathrooms were clean overall good experience EXCEPT WITH THE HISPANIC GIRL CHECKING PEOPLE IN, AND THE WHITE GIRL WORKING THE PIRZE SECTION. I understand they are around kids all day, some bad, some annoying but that doesnt mean you hafto be rude, both young ladies has very bad attitudes and its like you were bothering them and shirt tempered, and I didnt like that. If you need to chill out go take a break, but dont be rude to people or catch attitudes because its not going to fly with all of us and if a parent seeing you being rude to their child, could put yall in danger. All I all it was good and fun if the 2 ladies hadnt of put us in a bad mood when we got there, it probably would of been more enjoyable. Thats the only reason Im giving 2 stars.

We made a date of it for our 1.5 year wedding anniversary, and arranged a babysitter for our baby son. However, the so called ice rink was a joke. It was approximately 20x40 feet, absolutely tiny, and it was PLASTIC. The business called it synthetic ice, which is apparently just a series of interlocking plastic sheets that feel SLIGHTLY like ice. We could not skate on it. It did not handle like ice properly. And it was $15 a person for 30 minutes, which we couldnt even last, it was so impossible to skate. A complete rip-off and waste of money.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! This is the only place like it in Lubbock, so I guess they have no incentive to do a good job. My husband and I went for their temporary ice rink- which they paraded around in advertising with stock photos that were NOT of their rink. It was about 30 by 30 feet and was a bunch of white mats stuck together that were nothing like ice. You couldnt move on the ice skates. You had to walk across the mats, in the skates, cut up your ankles, and not do anything close to skating. I cant believe how expensive and disappointing the whole experience was. We only go out once a month without our baby so our dates are always very special to us- and expensive because we have to hire a sitter. This was also an anniversary date. We will never waste our money and valuable time here again.

I work for the Children s Home of Lubbock- and AP was amazingly kind and gracious to our children. I highly recommend this place. We have a big group some times but staff was all so patient and kind even when our kiddos were having big emotions or frustrations. The staff specifically at the go-karts was soooo helpful with our staff swapping in and out with kiddos riding and I couldn t thank him enough. It was a great opportunity to let the kids run and play and I hope to do it again soon! Highly recommended

We went to ice skate today. What a complete scam. $15 per person. Either they have no idea how to put in an artificial ice rink or they are hoping to scam people out of money. It was ice skates on a plastic floor. It was ridiculous. I don t even know the correct words. It was such a joke. We asked the manager, Josh, to exchange our tickets for the go carts and he said no because they were too expensive, but he did allow us to use the towers instead. Which I did appreciate. I feel like there is nothing there really worth doing except maybe the go carts. I will not be returning. Sorry, Lubbock. I wish we had better options. It looks really nice on the outside but it lacks follow-through. Owners of Adventure Park you can do better. Give us something of value that gives us a reason to return.

We were in Lubbock for a cheer comp, and wanted to do something fun with the kids. This place was so cute and the Christmas package was awesome for the price. One staff member in particular made the evening much sweeter, Kevin at the ice rink. Thank you for your kind heart and patience! My kids had a great time. So did we!
