I bought 3 tickets to a show in April. The show was cancelled a few days prior and we were told our tickets would be refunded. I have been in touch with several people about the refund, and here we are in July and STILL NO REFUND!! Garbage way to run a business in my opinion.

There is no seating & no shade. You will literally be in direct sun until 830 PM. Staff was friendly and venue felt safe since you go through a pat down before entering. Place is dated but functional. Id go back in the winter or spring but never again in the summer due to the no shade.

Get there early!! The place fills up quick. I took my daughter for her first concert and we sat on the grass hill. It was a great experience. Good venue. They had BBQ cooking on the hill. Drinks inside and out. They have bathroom buildings w stalls. Ran out of soap and paper towels but they were clean.

Fabulous location, we ride shared in. (recommend). Little to no shade,9$ beer.drink water, 70%grass seating on Knolls. Not a problem for us. Bring a low chair, blanket, umbrella, big hat. Aspirin and sunscreen. Our 1st time there, we were sun cooked. And the concert was still amazing.

Nope. Came for the 1st time, we HAD to park 1 mile away, and literally walked alongside the hwy, to get to the gate. Walking up, place was filthy. Trash and beer cans thrown all over. Almost every trash can I saw was overflowing. Was groped by someone who clearly does not know how to do a pat down. I ve gone to LOTS of venues and never had to get patted down . People are basically on top of each other, you could barely walk, much less sit on the grass. Drink lines were super long and slow. Coors beer cold, Michalob Ultra HOT. I ll stick to venues with air conditioning and seating.

We went to the Tacos and Tequila music festival on November 5th 2022. The venue isnt prepared for any more than a hundred or so people. Buying a VIP ticket was worthless. Beer ran out after the 2nd act. The bathrooms are more of a hazmat science experience. They are 2 mobile offices with stalls and urinals (some work some just drain on the floor) that are dilapidated and the floor is rotting out with wood covering what appears to have been holes in the floor. Of the 3 sinks only 1 worked. No soap or paper towels after the second act. Bring your own. Make sure your medical insurance is up to date and have an injury lawyer on retainer just in cace you snap a leg falling through the floor of the bathrooms or even the decking and stairs going up to them. Do NOT give this venue your money.

The only thing good about Tacos & Tequila Music Festival was the food trucks. Their VIP tickets were a joke, their margaritas were horrible and tasted like pickle juice, their mixed drinks were so weak it s not even funny. The VIP seating was ridiculous. We didn t even make it two hours and we left. We didn t think anyone could mess up tacos, tequila and music, but whoever put the festival on did it.

An older Lubbock venue. From locals, in the process of renovation. Bathrooms are functional, usually port o potty are available. Todays festival the alcohol prices are reasonable for venues. Most are hillside grass seating, fairly large pit area. Despite the asthetics, sounds GREAT for music!! Cant wait to see the improvements.

The venue itself is pretty neat and cool. It s large and can fit a lot of people. However, the cops out there are rude and on a power trip. I asked the older one for directions and he was beyond short, rude, and disrespectful. Almost like he was above helping me. And just turned back to his colleague and ignored me. It s a bad look for the venue because I left with a bad taste in my mouth. Another thing is that it can take way too long to get into the venue if there s a line.

Staff should know all security requirements before attendees are checked in. I passed through 4 staff / security and was turned away because of a bag. Could have checked what was in my bag which was medical necessities for my asthma. Would never recommend and would advise everyone to check the requirements which I will admit was a mistake on my part.

I hate to give a bad review, worst crowd management & very necessary! We met our daughter who drove from Abilene & we came from Amarillo. The line was absolutely crazy, (wrapped all the way around from beginning of parking lot, back to haunted house, & back around to venue entrance) moved pretty steady, until it stopped moving completely. Next thing we know they were telling people with printed tickets to move ahead (first time I didn t have printed tickets) We ve been to this venue many time for larger crowds & never experienced anything like this! Apparently WiFi went down & scanners weren t working. After missing 3 of 4 bands & 2 hours in line, we had to wait in line for a drinks for about 15 mins, only to find out that everything had to be cash because systems were down, but don t worry they have ATM s!!! Another line waiting 10 mins. ATM only allowed $100.00+5.95+$3.00 fee per transaction I-Prevail was great, but we went for all 4 bands, arrived early, & missed majority of the show! Not impressed with property either! Maintenance has fallen short! Multiple bathrooms out of order, nails sticking out of stairs & are a tripping hazard! It saddens me to see how quickly this place has deteriorated!

Saw Volbeat a year a go and saw Pierce the Veil a week ago. I really appreciated having a closer place to go to see concerts than all the way in Dallas. I liked that it was an outdoor venue, other than the fact that I was allergic to the freshly cut grass, but they cant control that lol. Its a nice little amphitheater.

The venue itself is nice, my real problem with concerts here is that they have the bands playing as soon as they start letting people in. I get there over an hour early and miss the first band, but theres some people who pay full price and dont even get in until the last band is playing. I would never come here again if that was the case for me. Oh, they also have no parking so be prepared to run across one of the busiest roads in Lubbock to try and find your vehicle in a field.

Ive been to shows here before and they were great for the area. Something changed because we waited in line over an hour and a half. Missed 2 1/2 bands. Was told security forgot their wands. Also they pulled everyone with paper tickets after an hour of waiting to the front of the line of those with digital tickets. There was half the crowd still in line by the time the third band came on. Still parking has not been updated either as most parking is still a spot or field you find off the road. Bartender said there were 5000 tickets sold. They are obviously not equipped for this and its the paying fans who suffer. And theyve switched the bathrooms to portapotties with no light or wash station.

This venue deserves 0 stars. We arrived an hour early for the PTV and I Prevail show. After parking almost a mile away and walking to the venue, we had to wait in line for over an hour in a mile long line. Someone suffered a heat stroke right behind us in line. We weren t even 1/4 through the line when the first of four bands started. After FINALLY getting to the door, we were GROPED by security (their untrained staff) and finally got into the show. We were LUCKY to see the final two bands play after listening to the first two while in line. Towards the end of the line, we could see that the venue was almost entirely empty but the line was still wrapped over a mile long. During the shows, it was impossible to leave to get water or anything from how packed it was. During PTV, over half the attendees were still in line. There were people passing out in the crowd every 5 minutes and the band crew/attendees were more effective in getting people out. The acoustics and sound quality was way below par. During I Prevail, I was nearly passing out from dehydration and heat exhaustion so I left to get some water. They were OUT of water and the bartender told me they had NO RUNNING WATER! I was given a cup of ice from the well and it literally saved me. Overall, everyone who purchased tickets and the bands themselves deserved better. The show was incredibly oversold and understaffed. Worst venue experience of my life. I ve waited almost a decade to see PTV live and honestly wish I wouldn t have driven 8 hours from east Texas to see that show. Should have gone to dallas or OKC.

Then missed 2 & 1/2 out 4 of the bands, when we got to the gate and dude checked our tix he just waves us through didnt even scan the tix!!!!! Just for some chick to come out of no where to put her hands on me to check my CLEAR WALLET SIZED BAG!!!!!!! Worst concert experience of my life and ive gone to small local bar shows to huge kpop concerts to music festivals and this was by far the most ridiculous!!!

Those of you who waited over an hour to see the show with Fit for a King.... Yall realize that those pat downs were done invasively and improperly by uncertified staff, right? Hire real security, not random people who have no authority or training to do safety checks. You are crossing a serious line, Lonestar.

The concert I went to would have been so much better at a different venue. There s very little parking. People who bought their tickets at the box office or printed them got in just fine? But people like me who bought their tickets a month in advance and had them on their phones had to wait in probably the slowest line I ve ever been in. We listened to the bands we paid to see from outside the venue and we got there early. Lastly it seems like a lot of people needed medical attention I think security could have been a lot better. Hopefully the venue will get organized and people can safely enjoy the shows that they paid their hard earned money to see.

Tried to see Pierce the Veil & Fit For a King tonight at this venue absolutely no hate to the performers, everyone we heard (keyword: HEARD) was amazing! The VENUE however was not prepared for this show thousands of people were left in line in the parking lot for hours, and the first 2 performers were done at the time that the venue said DOORS OPENED. To clarify, the venue said doors opened at 7 and the show was at 8 we arrived AT 7 and the headliner was getting ready to go on. Even FURTHER, when we finally reached the gates security didn t even check us or our tickets, and we only got to see 2 songs. $180 on tickets and we saw TWO SONGS. Multiple medical emergencies happened in this time, to the point where the bands performing had to direct EMT to people in trouble. The venue was clearly not prepared for this show on multiple levels. We are appalled and frankly, angry. We will be seeking a refund. If anyone else shared this experience, PLEASE SAY SOMETHING. This behavior is not acceptable, especially for such a renowned venue. WONT BE COMING BACK.

Then on Saturday when it rained we tried to go inside to stay dry but the roof leaks so bad you got wet any way. Weve been to festivals at Paris, Dallas, San Angelo, leukenbach, floores, whitewater, and in NM and have never been as disappointed in a place as we were in this one. Quite frankly its horrible.
