The atmosphere, service and cost is your typical family operated Pho place. The food is delicious! The Pho is the best youre going to find in Longview, the roasted pork vermicelli bowl is great as are the spring rolls and egg rolls. Not the best I have ever had but well worth it if youre in or around Longview and have a craving for Pho!

We went in around lunch time and there was a dead fly in my drink. Not close to the bottom either lik it was stuck inside the cup. But my husband and I decided to just get a new drink and try the food anyway. The lady that served us was ok but she charged my card $12.23 over what my bills was and I left a cash tip. I dont understand why they did this and its unacceptable! I dont recommend the seafood combination pho just do to the fact that they used imitation meat and it had a weird texture but after I weeded through that the base and everything else was great.

We arrived at approximately 7:20. The older man who took our order was clearly in a hurry and quite rude. We placed our order to go and were asked to drive around to the take out window. When I asked for water he told me we don t have no cups. I paid almost $35 for 2 bowls of soup and rude service. The food was good.

Food is delicious. I didnt check their local rating before I ate. It was a B. I cant personally go back until it has been cleaned up. The table I sat at was sticky and the wall beside me was spattered with food. The sauce on the table had dried bits clogging the openings. I ate but was fairly grossed out.

Honestly this place has amazing food. I was really shocked and didnt expect it to be as good as it was. The service was horrible. Im not sure if it was the owner at the register at around 1pm, but whether it was or not he was not very helpful at all. He wasnt necessarily rude per say, but he had a very unpleasant attitude that customers should never have to deal with. We got our food a little before closing and I asked for napkins and I wanted to be sure that we got some soy sauce. He rudely tells me that he put plenty in the bag and so we said thank you and walked out the door and they immediately locked the door behind us with at least 15-20 minutes left until closing time. We were going to eat in the parking lot since they were closing and when we opened the bag and saw there was no soy sauce or napkins only one pair of chopsticks and one plastic spoon. I tried to use the spoon and the edges of it were so sharp that it sliced my lip open causing me to bleed. We knocked on the door to ask for some soy sauce and napkins but not one person would come to the door. Needless to say the food is amazing and I highly recommend everyone try it, but just know you might have to deal with a very unpleasant customer service experience.

Every single bite I was humming and dancing. The flavors were so smooth and delicious, I got the P13 Beef with lemon grass soup, added an egg. Yum!! Hands down best I ve ever had. The amount of food given was perfect. We also had the A2: beef egg rolls. Small portion but they were good. Service was great, only downside is that it was a little toasty in there due to maybe AC not working but I didn t notice much once I had our food in front of us.

The flavor of my pho was average, but some extra chili oil made it good. For $14.50, my pho had far too few vegetables and was very skimpy on meat (i.e., poor noodles to veggie/meat ratio). Would have appreciated this meal more if there were more meat and veggies or if it had been cheaper.

Bad experience!! I went and I got a sweet tea. It tasted super bad, tea was not sweet it had a really bad taste . The server there couldn t even explain to me what they had mistaken the sugar with. The food was excellent! The server provided suggestions and asked questions for our preferences. She was very friendly. Her suggestions were spot on! My husband enjoyed the P13 beef lemon grass soup. Updated Review from tonight 01/07/2023: Katie took care of us tonight and she was AWESOME. Super friendly and attentive and made the visit very enjoyable. The peanut sauce and chicken spring rolls were excellent - They have THE best peanut sauce - I ordered the P7 Beef Pho and the broth was perfection and the portion was generous. - The food here has always been great, but tonight was the 1st time I had awesome, friendly service - So thank you Katie! You rock 1+ year ago: Used to love this place but its gone down hill in terms of service. Several times during normal business hours weve stopped by only to have them be closed and not even the courtesy to have a note on the door. Today, a Saturday, we went as we called earlier in the day to see if they were open. At 2:30 we walked in and were told to leave because they would reopen maybe around 4pm. The staff in the building were quite rude about it too. This used to be my favorite Pho place in the area but Ill just drive to Tyler from now on.

I had my Grubhub order canceled because they were closed or no longer accepting orders. On my way to Chiangmai (WHICH I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!) I noticed Pho Saigon was open. So I thought I would stop by and order some Spring Rolls. The restaurant is clearly open, there are clearly workers passing by their drive thru window but no one came to the window for the 10min I was there. I thought maybe their drive thru is closed (even though there is no sign on the window) so I tried calling inside to ask. The phone just rang and rang. No answer. I used to love this place. The egg rolls, with shrimp, were the smallest I ve ever eaten but tasted fresh and good. Pho was okay until I ate one of the two overcooked and dry (rehydrated?) shrimp within the pho. I knew better to stop at the smell but assumed it had to be seasoning because the shrimp egg rolls were good. Surely no cook would let something smelling that bad leave their kitchen. The taste, wet unwashed dog, was as bad as the smell. Very much like that first and last nasty straight-tailed boiled crawfish that I ate over 45 years ago. I expectantly but thankfully didn t have food poisoning later. Service was friendly and fast. Still waiter should have spent time cleaning instead of reading. Place felt dirty. I told them it was the nastiest shrimp I ve ever eaten out of the decades I spent in S La buying, cooking and eating shrimp.. Unsure and unconfident of their mitigation. Won t go back.

Great Pho! I ve been to Vietnam and eaten Vietnamese food all over the world, and this place stacks up! Huge portions. Great flavor. Nice fresh veggies, basil, jalapeño. Chicken Pho = highly recommended. I will say as well, other reviews said the owner was rude? Not at all! Very pleasant & nice. He provided great service. This is my favorite place when Im needing some rich, comfort food (or a hangover cure). I have yet to order anything here and not like it. Their spring rolls are great, and the peanut sauce is divine. I used to get the P2 pho bowl, but Ive recently switched to the pork lemongrass soup. Its a bit spicier but the flavors all compliment each other so well! Also, be patient with the waiter. Other than the cooks, hes a one man show. Hes always quick to greet you and he never forgets a face. 10/10 recommend.

My son and I dined in on Saturday and were first timers. Ive gotten Pho to-go from here but never dined in. He got the P14 (which he loved) and I got got P7 which is a combination of meat. The meat in my dish was very, very chewy. But other than that, I loved my dish too. The waitress was not attentive at all and the air Conditioner had to have been out because it was so hot! I was happy to find this place in Longview. The negative is this....Their menu was confusing to me, but Im a newbie to the Pho game so Im keeping that in mind. We were all pretty hot in there, like melting down, especially after all that hot soup. Its also July in Texas so theres that.. lol We got the egg rolls, which reminded me more of a fried spring roll. They are small, but still good. I also got the shrimp spring rolls with the peanut sauce. Those were good, definitely would get them again. All the pho bowls are huge and tasty. They gave us a nice take away container because there is so much its near impossible to finish. When I come back to Longview, I will come to Pho Saigon. Hopefully it will be a winter visit .

I was quite surprised at how good their pho was. Their brisket is way more tender and flavorful than most pho spots, and their grilled pork is off the chain. My usual is the brisket pho and grilled pork spring rolls, but their lemon grass soups and fried spring rolls shouldnt be slept on either...be sure to ask for the peanut sauce. Service is always quick and friendly, making this a great spot for workday lunches. Their prices are quite reasonable, as well. Hands down the best pho east of Dallas.

It was raining at 7pm, and one of our party was in a wheelchair. I got soaked assisting the twelve-year-old with a broken leg get into his wheelchair during the veritable gully washer. As cats and dogs feel from the sky, a staff member came to the door and informed us that they had decided to close early. My introduction to pho was at a Vietnamese restaurant in my hometown Arlington, TX, and whereas they were the best, I have been looking for a similar taste ever since. This has been the only place that has come even remotely close. The broth is phenomenal and the noodles are really good. I have been driving by this place for years always wanting to try it, and I m glad that I finally did! This little shop is well worth the visit and definitely worth any kind of wait. This is one of my favorite restaurants next to Jasons deli . The people who work there are hard workers. Karl will take my order and he will bring it back hot and delicious every time. My daughter likes spicy so she always gets BN9 which is the lemongrass beef,! she. loves it. The owner, Kari Nguyen is great. My family and I have been regulars since they opened.

This place is amazing, I have no other word that could describe it better. My uncle treated me here and Im not a big fan of soups, but this place changed my outlook. Ive been back several times since he took me the 1st time. I will continue to go back.

Dont go here unless being treated bad is your thing. The older man at the desk who is almost always there is super rude and I typically dont mind but he is on a different level. He literally was mad when I decided to sit down to eat instead of get it to go. Wanna know why? Because he didnt want to get up. So good luck getting him to get up for anything else. You have to walk the check to him as well. The food portions have gotten smaller while the prices have gone up. I use to like this place but it is just constantly getting worse. It really feels like your not welcome in there and they want you out. Idk why. Weird.

I used to come here every weekend with my boyfriend for date day and loved every experience, but as of a few months ago, the customer service has gone way downhill. specifically, theres an older male server that is SO RUDE. he always has an attitude and is very inconsistent. the food is great, but the service and atmosphere has sadly changed. we miss jordan!!!

My grandma is from Vietnam and growing up with her cooking has made me very selective about asian food. I can honestly say this place is so close to her amazing authentic cooking. It is delicious and everytime it satisfies my stomach and my heart. The other local places just can not compare.

Best Pho in Longview (in my opinion). The eggrolls are really good, cooked to perfection and served with a really good dipping sauce. Restaurant is kept clean and staff is nice. At first I only came here every now and then but now I eat here on average once a month. Pho is absolutely amazing when sick (or hungover).

everything Ive tried has been authentic, the place is clean, the staff friendly. As with all restaurants they have their strengths. I find several dishes I like and never deviate. Those are always excellent and hit my spot. So Ill have to keep trying new ones so I can add them.
