So I love Andy s .. I grew up in Wisconsin eating custard ice cream so Andy s has become my favorite place for dessert. I go there at least 2/3 times a week. However I have noticed when I go there it is like pricing roulette .. my daughter and I get the same thing every single time. Sometimes it s $8.85 and other times it s $9.40.. no big deal. But tonight they tried to charge me over $10 for the same thing. I asked if there was a price change the manager said no. I showed him my my recents charges in my card app and asked him how could it have been rung up that I have been getting charged this , but you re trying to charge me over $10 for the same thing .. he had no answers for me (said he didn t know ) that s it. had no interest in helping me. So I m assuming It depends on who is ringing up your order = how much you re gonna be charged for the same exact item. After sharing this in a local Longview page - turns out so many other people have experienced the same issue with inconsistent pricing. Last night I just got my daughter ice cream and I skipped mine because I don t understand how there s been no price change- but it costs more money for the same item. Unfortunately I have to walk away from this place because the manager proceeded to gaslight me and could care less about my concerns and provided no explanation only disinterest.

My husband and I love coming here for a sweet treat. But we have noticed the size has become inconsistent. For example, if you order a small Funky James Brownie you may get a medium or large, which is ok. However, when you get a customized custard with extra ingredients you don t get it but charged for the extra.

Love the custard! Most of the menu is over-the-top for me, personally. And the prices are a little steep. But I like the classic hot fudge malt and sundae options. Anyone can find something. Staff is friendly but it feels like theyre always training new people so its never quite a well-oiled machine. A bit of a wait. Wish the walk-up had a separate order and pickup window and better seating options for groups.

Not very impressed. I ordered a small vanilla custard with raspberries and they gave me vanilla custard with a few raspberries but a bunch of candied cherries and that juice stuff. It was nasty. The line though was so long that I wasnt able to get back to the window and have them remake it. Prices seemed a bit high too

Lovely place for a frozen treat to fend off the Texas heat, needs a little work on the drive through service. This is one of my favorite frozen dessert places, but not having the menu memorized can result in an awkward interaction. They do not have a menu board up near the entry way of the drive through, however they had a person going up to reach car asking what theyd like to order. Thanks to this feature, I ordered triple chocolate concretes for everyone bc only one person in the knew what they wanted by name. Check the menu online before you find yourself in the drive through line or youll be just as lost as me.

I grew up enjoying Frozen Custard, but trying to find it these days can be a little challenging. This is a very good place to start. If you want to discover the joys of fresh made frozen custard. They make a new batch hourly and you utilize flavors that you dont find at every ice cream stand. The food is great, the custard is refreshing, and they even managed to offer a veterans discount. Whats not to love?!

Ive never once had a bad experience here. Order is correct every single time & always delicious. The boot Daddy concrete with peanut butter added in is my absolute favorite. SO good! I recently came here after being in the hospital miserably sick. I ordered a medium concrete to soothe my raw bloody throat, & they gave me a large at no extra charge bc they saw how miserably sick I was. Told me to feel better soon. The staff is so kind. Service is impeccable.

It is always a treat when we go to Andys. The BootDaddy is hard to beat when you are craving something sweet and indulgent. One of my favorites is the Jitterbug - cappuccino flavor and heath concrete - so good. I always use the app when we go, both to scan the menu, look for seasonal flavors, and then to accrue points that pay off for free custard!
