First, I was not particularly eager to pay $10 without a receipt. I think the park isnt public because the entrance money has no control. Second. The restrooms were crazy because they were ugly, without maintenance, without utilities, and smelled too bad. I dont recommend it.

Lake park ambassadors this Sunday night Inside the sitting area (the area which has tables/ chairs sitting arrangement overlooks/ in front of the volley ball courts) were throwing/ playing with a foot ball size ball, quite strongly throwing at each other. The ball almost missed my 3 year old son, and had hit our food on table, and knocked down the food to ground. Interestingly they kept on playing anyways. This is supposed to be the lake management taking care of things. Are they allowed to play inside these covered dining/ sitting places, where people are sitting and eating with their kids and families?

Little elm park has artificial beach that gives real beach feel where we can swim and go for boating . It s a good picnic spot too for family and friends. We can carry food from outside into this park and multiple restaurants are available in this park surroundings. Beach volleyball courts are exists here to play. There are long way trails around the park for bicyclists and walkers . I have visited this park on 4th July for the Independence Day celebrations. That was a great experience by standing at beach shore and watching the fire crackers. Overall it s a good place to visit with kids and friends, but here the parking fee is 20.

I was there yesterday evening and my friend was swimming, then he caught a cramp in one of his legs, so he started to sink. No Lifeguard or staff were present. He was yelling for help as water was entering his mouth & he was going down. I called 911, but they took forever! I screamed over and over SOMEONE PLEASE HELP, HE S DROWNING! 2 teenagers swam out of nowhere & saved my friend s Life and this story need to be heard! Those two teens, need to be recognized for saving a Life at this beach!!!!!! By the time the authorities arrived, about 15 minutes later, my friend had been rescued. If it wasn t for the teens, their wonderful swimming & hearts to save a Life, my friend would have lost his Life!!!!! This is a nice peach, but they definitely need Lifeguards on duty, during business hours. This could happen to anyone!!!!!

High Parking fee of 20$ (no re-entry allowed and no receipt) seems like a scam. It was over crowded on Memorial day weekend. Most of the beach is flooded because of the recent rain fall and looked like a muddy puddle. We will look for a different beach and wont be returning anytime soon. See the pictures to get the clear idea.

Really disappointed right now. Given the current water levels, most of the beach has eroded. Ok great, no worries. But what little beach was left was covered in trash. And I dont just mean 1 or 2 things, I mean it took me 30 minutes to clean up a 8x8 area because there was so much trash. The volleyball courts were trashed, the water literally had trash floating in it. It was horrible. Weve been coming for years and have never seen it look like this.

Exploring Little Elm Beach last weekend was a pleasant surprise. While it may not be a traditional beach, the artificial lake nestled in the heart of the city, surrounded by open spaces, a stadium, and a kids park, offers a unique recreational experience. One standout feature was the innovative choice of materials for the kids play area floor a soft, bouncing plastic material designed to minimize the risk of injuries in case of falls. The thoughtful design adds an extra layer of safety for families enjoying the area. With amenities like a beach volleyball court, walking paths, and ample parking, Little Elm Beach provides a versatile space for various activities. The idea of having a picnic by the lake makes it an appealing destination for family outings, offering a blend of relaxation and recreation.
