Food is excellent for us, the vegetarians. The menu is full of non-vegetarian with few vegetarian items. We took the full meals which came with 16 items on the course. Almost all of them are excellent in taste, except for the Rasam which was ok. What happens when the servers are busy chit chatting and not paying enough attention to the customers? We visited this place and asked for meals. Our waitress said, on the weekend, they only have Kuppanna Pandhri Meals (kind of Full Meals). I took a brief look at the menu, and asked for two meals. After 5 min the same waitress returned to take the order. I asked her what happened to the order when I gave earlier, and she was honest enough to say she didnt note down the order earlier. The service could be better especially serving full meals, not a problem if you can simply stop the server walking by and ask whenever you need something. Food is the most important and this place won us on that. Most definitely to return here. Vegetarian options: Few vegetarian selections are available on the menu

I had a very good experience here ! Came in for lunch on a weekday . Everyone was super friendly and the food was amazing . I got the special veggie meal , a combination of different items and sauces. Everything was fresh and delicious and made with heart and soul . The girl working explained all the dishes to me very well. I thoroughly enjoyed eating here and I will definitely be back!

The problem with Kuppanna is the same as with most Indian places - lack of consistency. I ordered Parotta and chicken salna a month ago and loved it. I ordered the same 2 days ago and it was not even remotely close. I also ordered mutton chukka, but the meat was hard. I also ordered idiappam but it was not fresh, it was dry. They would be better if limiting items to breakfast/lunch/dinner so at least the items are fresh when ordered. The place reeked of cigar smoke due to a smoke shop next door. But I would not ding them for it, they were working to fix the wall they share with the smoke shop. The staff was friendly, but the kitchen let them down.

This place is much better than Kumars Frisco. The people serving are very responsive. Food is really tasty. Not so spicy. My kid was able to eat without too much of fuss. One piece of advice though, unless you have good appetite dont go for their virunthu. Its too expensive. Instead get their Thali or individual items. Their portion is big and can be shared between adults sufficiently.

I ve heard lot of good reviews about this place and it s very close to home, so stopped by to try. My ghee roast and I had Kongu chicken Biryani and Pallipaalayam chicken. The best Indian food I have had after so many years. Being an Indian I ve always thought I rather cook at home instead of eating out, but this place completely changed my mind. My daughter kept saying that this is the place we should come to moving forward! And prices are reasonable for the quantity! Would highly recommend if you want true South Indian food. Amazing atmosphere, impeccable service and mouth watering food. You forget if you ve come to a restaurant or a relatives house. Definitely one of the best South Indian food places. We had the non-veg special meals and were mind blown by the quality, taste and authenticity of the food we had. Eating here made us feel closer to home after ages. Kongu Chicken biryani was just perfect, the chicken curry and chicken fry went really well with biriyani. We had a second serving of every item because it was that good. Special mention to Hari for his top class hospitality and service. He made sure we promptly received what we needed. We catered food with them for a birthday party for around 60 people. I would say they have best quality catering menu. All food was awesome both veg & non veg. Especially mutton briyani, Idicha milagu chicken, podi idly, veg kothu parotta are hit at the party. Guest from kids to adults really enjoyed the food. Manager Kumar was very helpful in curating the menu/quantity. Definitely we will order again for our parties.

Went to this place per my friends recommendation. Loved the place, the food and service. We ordered dosa, poori, mutton biriyani, idiyappam. The food tasted good with the correct spicy level. Biriyani was inline with thalappakkatti. One suggestion was that filter coffee would have been served on the traditional tumbler rather than disposable coffee cup. Otherwise I loved the place and food. Highly recommended. Also its a BYOB place.

One of the best dosa places in North Frisco. The management is very responsive and maintains very good service all through. Food in general is amazing. This will continue to be our go to place.
