I ve only been here during events, so this might not apply on a normal day at the park. It s always fun, clean, and easy to navigate! The only issue I ve ever had is traffic while entering the parking lot- you pretty much line up on the main road and it can take upwards of 20 minutes just to reach the parking attendant to pay (which is why I knocked a star off). Considering the number of people who attend events here (because they are awesome!) there needs to be a more efficient system when it comes to traffic control. Other than that we love Little Elm Park- especially the play ground and volleyball courts! It s so nice to have a sandy beach so close to home. Playground: Baby swings, toddler play area, big kid play area with zip line and fun climbing structure. Toilets: Portable

Review: Little Elm Beach Walking Trails Little Elm Beach offers some of the best walking trails around, combining scenic beauty with a peaceful, outdoor experience. Located right by Lake Lewisville, the trails give you fantastic, unobstructed views of the lake, making it a perfect spot for anyone who enjoys being near the water. The views of the lake are truly stunning, especially at sunrise or sunset when the water reflects the skys colors. As you walk, youll find plenty of shaded spots, open areas, and even benches where you can stop to take in the scenery. The paths are well-maintained and accessible, making them ideal for casual walks, jogging, or even a leisurely bike ride. Parts of the trail are crushed granite and other parts are paved. One of the highlights of these trails is the serene atmosphere. While popular, the area never feels overly crowded, allowing for moments of quiet reflection as you stroll along the water s edge. You might spot some local wildlife, from birds to turtles, which adds to the natural charm. Whether youre a local or just visiting, the walking trails at Little Elm Beach offer a peaceful escape with some of the best lakefront views in the area. A perfect place to unwind and connect with nature!

Me and my family had so much fun here for our pre labor day weekend! It was a Saturday and it wasnt over crowded. They have food near by and also a little concessions stand inside the park that sells hot dogs, burgers, nachos, and other little snacks. They have free loaner life jackets for the kids. We played volleyball as well which was a big hit! Definitely will return in the future! They also have little shower spouts to rinse off! (Much needed) Playground: Nice play area for the kids! Toilets: Fairly clean for a public lake restroom. Dog-friendliness: Dogs cant be on the beach... They have to stay on the grass area in the parking lot. Picnic area: There are picnic tables and benches throughout the park/beach for sitting or eating.

Lake park ambassadors this Sunday night Inside the sitting area (the area which has tables/ chairs sitting arrangement overlooks/ in front of the volley ball courts) were throwing/ playing with a foot ball size ball, quite strongly throwing at each other. The ball almost missed my 3 year old son, and had hit our food on table, and knocked down the food to ground. Interestingly they kept on playing anyways. This is supposed to be the lake management taking care of things. Are they allowed to play inside these covered dining/ sitting places, where people are sitting and eating with their kids and families?

There s no sand! We came here last year and had a great time with the family playing g in the sand by the beach but when we went this weekend everyone was huddled on two strips of sand maybe 6 feet wide on each side of the volleyball courts. The middle area had completely eroded away and left an unsafe 2 ft drop into very shallow and murky water. There was no where to sit so people had started setting up on the volleyball courts. The beach was also covered in trash, empty bottles, plastic bags and such. Very disappointed after the many days we spent here last summer.

Didn t get to check it out yet but looked like fun. I had a trailer so I wasn t able to park in the lot. I found that out because of the mean older guy at the gate the younger two were polite but weren t able to answer any questions. On my way out I was curious if there was trailer parking. The old guy said I shoulda planned better.. I certainly would have but I am On the road all year. I typically look up adventures. Today I crossed a bridge and saw a lake. I thought that d be cool to check out. The bridge is 30 seconds from the entrance. I was told I m a bad planner and should have gone online to see.. when? Between the bridge and the entrance I should got on the internet? I was ok leaving I m not ok when people at work pretend they aren t human and refuse to communicate like decent humans rather than being rude and dismissive. If there s a website with info it wouldn t hurt the staff to know the info to pass it on to visitors. Maybe try being welcoming instead of acting like someone coming across something and thinking to check it out is dumb. Such robotic lives people live. Loosen up you work at a recreational place for gosh sakes!

The video is from beginning of the March so that s why it doesn t look crowded but it gets very crowded in summer and also they charge money per vehicle on weekends. If you planning event it s recommended to call in advance and reserve gazebos with a grill because it gets pretty crowded there also. Playground: A lot to do for kids and playground have shade

The lake is big enough for a 5+ mi beach with free parking but why do that when you can make it small and over charge for the limited parking? You know, a slip-n-slide is about $10. Get one for the kids, sit back and drink some NON bud beer and enjoy. Youre welcome.

They did a great job with the Harry Potter Experience (though the food/beverage prices were a bit high for what you get) and the atmosphere was high quality and actually felt like a walk through the Forbidden Forest! The only complaint would be the long walk from the parking to the experience entrance which felt around 3/4 mile of walking. Fine for a park, but I dont think we were quite prepared for it!
