Today I went with my family to share my daughters birthday, and to start I want to thank the young man named Cristian who treated us extraordinary, very attentive to our request, very helpful and polite. We placed our order and in less than 10 minutes there was on our table a spectacular golden fish with fries, some very delicious fajitas with their dressings, a tortilla with ceviche that our palate fell in love with, the mix of flavors between spicy acid was very exciting for us. palate, a divine mango margarita, cold Corona beers, they gave us dessert as a gift, thank you very much for the detail, I recommend this restaurant 100%, very cozy, familiar and reasonably priced.

Service and food were great! We were the only ones inside, and both staff members were wonderful. My strawberry house margarita on the rocks & chimichanga were very tasty! My husband said his frozen mango margarita was okay, but it wasn t as sweet. His burrito was also okay, but he loved the chimichanga! Would definitely recommend Barracrura & it will definitely become our go-to Mexican restaurant in Little Elm!!

10/10 We are more than pleased with the food. The New owner is great he is very attentive and makes sure if staff busy he takes care of you. Fresh seafood with good drinks! I had the seafood tower and it was very filling for 2 people with lots of seafood. The michelada was tasty and their version of an old fashioned was interesting. So my complaint has nothing to do with service and solely about food quality, in fact the service was great. The fact that what looked to be an owner, would have the blatant disregard to put a plate of food in front of a customer that looked and tasted the way it did is beyond me. My order was the fajita Texan. The serving portion was 5 shriveled pieces of chicken, 5 small pieces of freezer burnt flank steak and 5 over cooked bland shrimp (these were not big pieces). I took one bite of the steak and immediately called over the owner. Now in this case he was apologetic and did refund the food. I wasnt going any further with trying to eat it. However I did offer to pay for the pork rind appetizer so i could leave a tip for the waiter. The owner did not initially acknowledge what was being said and simply blamed the kitchen staff for the food. The cooks can only do so much with ingredients of that quality, or lack thereof, in this case. I wish I would have taken a picture to show all. The quesabirria tacos that my gf ordered were mostly cheese and fat. There was hardly any birria in them. She was done after a single bite. Hopefully this review makes it to the owner and he makes a change with the quality of food being ordered/served! Also, we were the only two people in the establishment at 5 pm. Came In the first time to eat. The DJ Angel is playing some great music. My date got grilled chicken fajitas tasted wonderful. Hot sauce and sweet tea are awesome on point!!! Ok.. where it comes, I ordered the salmon, with white rice, side of veggies, and I think garlic bread. Salmon was dry. I had to cover it with hot sauce just to get some moisture. I stopped in for lunch after a long hike at the lake trails. I came late afternoon, place only had few patrons. The concept is simple and has some good pops of visuals. I like the rattan lighting over the bar. The seating is a step up, comfortable and nice base of color. The back wall and bar is a nice balance. The menu is ample. They have small plates. After looking at the online reviews we decided to head over to try Barracuda. 1. Very limited parking. Only 3 parking spaces and 1 handicap space. We had to park over in front of the storage units next door with concerns that we might get towed. 2. After calling ahead for seating, as preferred by barracuda. We walked into the restaurant we stood & waited a good long uncomfortable minute while everyone watched and walked by. After that awkward moment I stopped one the servers walking by for directions to be seated. 3. Once seated we were given 2 menus. I did mention we had a reserved table for 8 and the others would be in shortly. She took our drink order, and shortly return to take food order. 4. We order queso birra tacos X2, grilled octopus, and grilled fish. $18.00 *Queso birra had only 3 strands of cheese *the grilled octopus was not grilled only slightly tossed on grilled to warm up, no taste, $48.00 *a small piece (palm size) grill fish plated $20.00 The Online menu was not updated Most definitely OVERPRICED. My family did eat the food mostly because of hunger! The grilled octopus was left on the table after 2 bites. The cheese bowl was good! 4. The wait on alcohol was ridiculous, there was a huge waiting gap on alcohol beverages. We look back a few times to check on our drinks...no one was working the bar. We asked the server if it was closed, nope the bartender was on the dance floor! After about 15 minutes we got our drinks. The Margaritas 10.00 water down flavor, NO BUENO aka Not good. 5. The DJ was AMAZING, the Salsa instructors were TALENTED and set the atmosphere with theyre dancing skills! It was really good beware the adobo grilled octopus is extremely spicy but fajitas are great especially the chicken ones atmosphere is pretty cool I dont think anyone in there spoke English however the menu is entirely in English but our server didnt speak a lick of English not a problem just kind of Beware when you go in there you can obviously point to the menu and theyre obviously used to people not speaking Spanish but thoroughly enjoyed my time it was a nice open feel and a very calm nice atmosphere

Arrived with a 10 top. Called in advance to let them know we were coming at 5pm. We were the only table there minus a 4 top that already had their food. Drinks were slow to arrive to the table after we ordered. Refills were nonexistent. My wife got up and went to ask who I presume is the owner at the bar for additional drinks and refills. He took no action. Our waitress finally came around 10 minutes later to take additional drink orders and provide refills. We inquired about our food since we had been there over an hour at this point and were informed our order was just entered 10 minutes ago. Informed owner/manager that we had some place to be and just to cancel our order and we would pay for our drinks and queso and leave. Despite being the only table there at the time, he failed to recognize us and ensure his new waitress of 3 days was taking care of us. Owners/Managers of small businesses have to ensure their customers are being taken care of and ensure they are properly training and supporting their staff. He did offer to box up the food we ordered but we informed him that he should give it to his employees as we did not have time to wait and 5 of the 10 of us were staying in a nearby hotel. We paid for our drinks and queso and left an appropriate tip. We will not attempt to return as there are too many other options in this space that can and have provided a better experience.

Calling all seafood and Mexican food lovers! Barracruda, in Little Elm, is serving up some of the best and freshest Mexican seafood plus other favorites! They have an extensive menu so everyone will be happy! The drinks are so good and well made! We tried the Jalapeños a la Momia and these were excellent and what a fun presentation! GET THIS! The Torre de Mariscos had such fresh shrimp, octopus, ceviche scallops, cucumber and avocado! Wow! GET THIS The Fajitas Texanas were loaded with tender steak, chicken, and shrimp plus incredibly warm handmade tortillas! All the food and service was incredible! Everyone treats you like family and are some of the nicest people I have met! We had the best time and cannot wait to come back!

Im not sure what we ate but it wasnt steak. Very odd texture, almost like airy if that makes sense. It was very odd. Felt like it was overpriced for what we got. The waitress was fine but the food was not. My son had fish and it smelled very fishy. We didnt let him eat it after the first bite, we didnt trust it. To be fair, he didnt get sick but I would not come here again.

I came here today with my family, a group of eight. Upon sitting down the server was constantly rushing us on ordering drinks, if we didnt respond she assumed we wanted water. Overall, we felt very rushed. The server didn t really check on how we were doing, I feel the customer service could greatly improve.

I m not sure where to begin with this restaurant, upon walking in we did not feel welcomed.We were not greeted at the door as a restaurant should. Our server was unorganized and was constantly rushing us, she told asked if we were ready to order because, The kitchen was closing. She later told us if we were ready to check out that her ride was outside to pick her up in what way is this professional as a restaurant your priority is your guest they should not feel unwelcome nor should they be rushed while dining in. This experience was was overall horrible service and management need work

If I could give it zero I would!! From the moment we walked in the owners or managers were looking at us the whole time. Being on their cell phones and not being helpful. Our waitress didnt know the menu. She was rushing us, kept asking if my child was ordering a cheese burger. Wasnt organized, rushed us to order because the kitchen was closing. Rushing us because her ride was coming. Will not return nor recommend.

One of the Best Tex Mex place in town. Must try Quesabirria and Molcajete platter . Micheladas is a must drink if you like spicy tangy mix and to cure hangover. The owner is very friendly and asks for your feedback to make it a better a place. I would definitely visit again and recommend this place

I have been wanting to try BarraCruda for about a year. I am super picky about seafood places so I was a little weary.... We decided to visit on a Fridsy evening to our suprise it wasnt very busy and we were seated immediately. We started with the chips and salsa and added the chicharon and guacamole. the Guacamole was freshly made, the chips were top notch and the chicharon was great. My wife ordered the enchiladas with scallops the cheese/Baja sauce they were topped with was out of this world. I had tacos Gobernador with shrimp picture above... I love attention to detail and the presentation of each dish... one of my pet peeves at many restaurants is the low quality childrens food NOT here my kids loved their big burgers and delicious quesadilla. How this place isnt packed every night of the week is beyond me and I am a little reluctant to give this awesome restaurant to much exposure so it isnt packed when come back here next time. If you are in Frisco or Little Elm COME EAT HERE!! You wont be disappointed.

Went to eat with my wife on a Friday, only 2 other tables in the restaurant. Food took about 25 minutes to come out. We saw our server go to the bar and say something about us to another guest and the bartender. The bartender kept telling the guest to stop as the guest looked over and yelled something at us. You could tell they were talking about us. Felt extremely uncomfortable, we asked for boxes and left. Do not recommend unfortunately.

Me and my girlfriend came over for a quick bite after hitting the beach and it was terrible. We ordered 2 appetizers and it took us 30 minutes to get them. We ordered the fish and shrimp combo appetizer and the fish looked like a prepackaged piece of fish covered in a much breading as they could get away with. We unfortunately left over half our food. Will definitely not be back here
