The Elm was a very nice, spacious and clean hotel. The check in was located on the 4th floor with an outstanding view of the city. Also on the same level is a food cantina/restaurant/ food place where you can sit and look out the windows and admire the view. The staff was superbly nice. A special thank you to the desk clerk Angela who I never met but was astoundingly nice and personable. Her assistance to my booking was gratefully appreciated. Rooms: Again the rooms were quite spacious with two queen size beds and plenty of walk room for up to five people without tripping or stepping over anyone. Love the space. Nearby activities: There were several restaurants and what appeared to have been a kids playground and an outdoor theater that actually had a live band playing within walking distance of the hotel. Safety: The rooms were digitally open and closed and there was a secure latch on the door once you re end for the evening.

Chose hotel for location.hotel is relatively new so it looks nice, has a great view of the lake and close to everything in Lil Elm. But, noisy AF.omg the constant opening and slamming of doors until 2am on s Sunday night! And the walls are paper thin. Had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed to get away from the chainsaw snoring on the other side of the wall. Weird layout in this oversized room with minimal furniture. The desk is some odd particle board, pieced-together thing that looks like it was added as an after thought. Stay elsewhere if you are looking to get a good nights sleep for work. Shoddy, thrown together too fast, and it shows.

My hubby and I needed to spend one night in Little Elm. We didnt want to spend a ton of money but also wanted a decent place to sleep of course. Check in is at 4 but we arrived at 2:35. I went to the main entrance and took the elevator to the 4th floor to check in, hopefully. Shyla was at the desk and greeted me with a pleasant smile and hello. I said I know we are early but could we check in now. She said we could no problem. She was the perfect first contact at this hotel. Everyone from the store kiosk staff to the restaurant bar staff and cleaning crew were friendly and professional. Overall the hotel was clean however, the shower had a bit of mold growing at the bottom of the tile, the carpet could have been vacuumed a bit better, but the rest of the room was fine. We will stay here again even with the minor issues. We couldn t beat the price that is for sure (see receipt in photos). Rooms: The room was fine however, this category received 4 stars due to the aforementioned issues. Food and drinks: We had 2 appetizers, hummus & flatbread and spinach artichoke dip. Both were delicious as was the mixed drink. There were no hard seltzers offered but they have a full bar. Noteworthy details: There is a huge sign when you first enter the building that the lobby is on the fourth floor. This is for the view!

This is not a bad hotel, but I was not impressed with this hotel and it being a newer one in the area. Check-in here is weird; it requires you to take an elevator to the 4th floor, and there is no good signage present for guests to know that. Our room was nice but you could tell they slapped this hotel together fast. Our shower had rust on most of the fixtures, and you could see holes around the fixtures from shoddy construction. The walls here are paper-thin, and we can easily hear all of our neighbors. I will likely not stay here again and look for something nicer and better constructed.

We booked a stay online at this hotel. While we were pulling into the parking lot we got a call from the manager saying that she had just booked our room to someone else that checked in in person, and that the only way we could stay is if we paid more money to stay in a suite. She was trying to force us to pay for her mistake extortion. She was unwilling to be helpful in any way and was completely unprofessional. Worst customer service I ve experienced in a long time.

I stay at The Elm from the April 26th to May 5th. Check in is on the 4th floor and it is a no cash facility The room was good, light in bathroom goes off if you are sitting on the toilet. The fire alarm went off twice while we were there and the cause was people taking hot shower with the door closed and when they open the door it sets off the fire alarm. When I checked in I was told that the price would be the same for my entire stay. Well, that didn t happen and the price more than doubled on the second Friday and Saturday. Once I got home, I call to speak to the manager about this. Every time I called, I was told she is not in yet or at another location. I spoke to 3 different people and each person gave me 3 different reasons, from the price should have stayed the same to it based on occupancy and the manager was the only person that could correct the problem. Left messages for the manager, But I have not heard from any manager and it is now the end of May. Had I known this issue was going to happen I would have made different arrangements. Food and drinks: restaurant in the hotel and serval in walking distance.

We were excited about this hotel opening and finally having one close by for family, but we have had 3 family members stay here so far and its been so awful that Im embarrassed. During their stays, they said several other guests were also complaining. The same price in any direction will get you SO much better quality. Especially in Frisco. The site lists $89 but its never actually cost that even today on a Monday. It has consistently been closer to $150 or more. Super disappointed and I hope Wyndham fixes these issues.

I stayed here for 4 days and could not have been happier with my experience!! The two gentleman at the front desk, Nick and John, were great! Both were very accommodating and extremely polite young men. The lobby is on the 4th floor and is beautifully decorated surrounded by glass windows and doors for a really unique view. Not something I expected walking in. As for the rooms, I had a suite. It had more than enough size, great comfortable beds, clean rooms, great spacious showers and never had an issue at all with noise. The cleaning staff are all very sweet and do a great job as well. I cant say enough great things about this place and would advise anyone to check it out. Even if you live nearby (I am from the area), its a great place to see Little Elm from a different view!!

My stay was April 19-21, 2024. We were staying for a funeral. I called the morning of to see if I could get two reserved rooms next to each other at the request of my wife. I thought the odds were against it, but after speaking with Nick, he was able to accomodate my request. After hanging up I received an immediate call back from Nick. I had made one reservation through Expedia and it was for another weekend. Totally my fault, but Nick was able to make a reservation that Friday morning for that weekend. It saved me a huge headache! Everyone was professional. Rooms were nice. Beds and showers were great! Ate breakfast at the hotel on Sunday morning. Food and service were very good. Prices were not too high and comparable to surrounding restaurants. The lobby is on the fourth floor and the view is very nice. Thank you Nick and The Elm for a nice stay.

The food in the bar area was fabulous and it s really nice being up on the 4th floor, great view, inside & outside. We met a friend in the lobby area upstairs and it provided a great atmosphere. Pricey, clean, absolutely perfect location, highly recommend! Nearby activities: Many restaurants and bars just walking distance away.

I am sure this is a nice place to stay based on recommendations. While my own haste and mistake in making a reservation precipitated the situation that is driving this rating, it is the zero acknowledgement and customer service by hotel staff including the GM and Assistant GM that drives a ZERO rating. I was making a reservation online with the intent of doing so for a future date to stay with friends attending a wedding. I inadvertently made the reservation for the same night of the day I was making the online booking (I never updated the date fo stay). The next morning, I received an email with the statement of charges. Of course, I never checked nor stayed that night. I immediately called the hotel and spoke to the front desk to see if I could discuss my mistake with management and ask if the amount paid could be applied to the intended night. I was given the GM and Assistant GM emails. Multiple calls, and emails to both over the 10 days and no response of any kind. Again, I accept full responsibility for my mistake, but no response, discussion or acknowledgement to my requests is customer service at its lowest by supposed professionals responsible for operating this hotel. Needless to say, I will not be staying at this hotel nor any Ramada ever in the future.

Stayed one night. This seems to be kind of modern compared to other places Ive stayed but I dont get out much. The room was designed simply and minimally. Highly functional. If you want a good view you have to go up to the fourth floor. That is also where you can reach the front desk and check in and out. The workout room was very basic. I like a little more machines that are old fashioned but Im happy they had a spot. it had plenty of free room.. No free weight save for hand dumbbells. I did not interact with the staff. Play some kind of disengaged but its okay I like minimal interaction anyway. The shower is designed in a way that even if you use the curtain properly water goes all over the place kind of like your high school gymnasium open showers. Everything else was very good. Nearby activities: Located near a really cool Park. I think its called Little Elm park. Park has a lot of amenities. The nature trail concrete and dirt loop.. Johnny Broyles trail is gorgeous. The downside is the eldorado Parkway seems to be insane at all hours. Theres actual traffic jams after rush hours despite people driving really fast. I would still come back to the area but I will need to be very patient with the eldorado Parkway

Hello, I recently stayed at your hotel and was disappointed to find that you do not offer complimentary breakfast. This is a standard amenity that most hotels provide, and it was a major inconvenience to have to go out every morning to find food. I understand that you may have your reasons for not offering complimentary breakfast, but I believe that it is a valuable amenity that would greatly improve the guest experience. I hope that you will consider adding this amenity in the future.

The hotel was nice and in a great location. We stayed 3 nights. Our first night there, whoever was above us was running, stomping, and riding what sounded like a skateboard really late at night. So that was super annoying and not the fault of the staff. Our bathroom was ok. There was what looked like old mud caked on the floor and also found a previous guests sock just laying on the ground, so not sure how well it had been cleaned. I mostly dealt with the staff at night time at the front desk. They were not very friendly, so that was disappointing as most of the reviews on here state the staff was super friendly.

The lay out of this hotel is very odd. When you come in the front door it feels like you have walked onto one of the floors with rooms, not the front welcome area of a hotel. There is an elevator you take to the 4th floor where the check in desk is. I was told this design is due to the view . It s obvious the rooms were very rushed when built due to chips in the wood and doors not shutting correctly on cabinets. The walls are paper thin.. and I mean paper thin! They also offer a very small breakfast menu that is at an extra expense to the guests. For a brand new hotel with rooms priced at 150.00 a night it was very disappointing.

We booked this hotel based on the reviews but our experience turned out to be horrible at this hotel. We had no power in our room all night, no outlets, and showered in the dark. They didn t resolve the issue until 30 mins before we checked out. They refused to refund us because they fixed the issue .30 mins before checkout. The manager was trying to compliment our hair condescendingly instead of taking us seriously and refunding the room. This place sucks, if you have a problem they won t do anything for you. ** we only had one phone plugged in .so either the hotel has an extremely low tolerance for power surges or the hotel reply doesn t make sense** Rooms: They have no power??
