This trail is probably the closest you can get to nature around this area. Beware of snakes!!

I expected a little more, hoping it would be graveled. Not really a trail, mostly a open walking path of bumpy grass & weeds. Not road bike friendly, but could ride a mt or gravel bike. Nice lake views.

Probably one of LEs best kept secrets. Peaceful little trail. Has a bench or two to sit, there are some parts of the trail that seperate off the loop and go into a neighborhood. Its mostly unpaved, tons of trees, some peeks of the lake here and there. If you start at the trail head and loop back out its roughly 2 miles.

Explored the Cottonwood Park trail on a beautiful day. It is a dirt loop trail about a mile long, well maintained. Lots of migrating ducks. Saw a red-tailed hawk being chased by crows. Trees are beginning their spring awakening.

This is a wonderful nature trail along the lake. Walk it several times a week with the dog. Great access for dog to swim. Not many people on it which is another plus. Even the weeds are pretty.

Actual trail but it s mowed and has benches. About 1.9 miles. Not any parking where the map says but 1/4 mile further there s a baseball field w lots of parking and another trail entrance. Behind the field are some more trails.
