Having just moved to the area, I couldn t help but notice this place standing out, so I decided to check it out. As soon as I walked in, I saw people playing all kinds of card games, with plenty of options to choose from. The staff was incredibly friendly and really focused on having a conversation to understand my style, rather than just selling me anything. Their expertise was top-notch, and they clearly knew their stuff. I ended up picking out a game I knew little about, but the way it was described made it sound so interesting, especially with the engaging community around it. That game is One Piece: The Trading Card Game, and I haven t regretted my choice since. Now, I come by on Wednesdays to connect with a great group of people who just want to have a good time, talk, and play. I highly recommend this place. Whether you re already into card games or new to the scene, there s definitely something for everyone here!

It s been awhile since I last visited here, the last time I went here the store was in a different location. I stopped by yesterday and they had a lot of tables set up for in store gameplay. There was a Middle Earth tournament going on, it reminded me of Warhammer gameplay with the miniatures and tabletop experience. It made me very interested in learning how to play this game and perhaps participating in future events.

Truly the best place to find your cardboard and tabletop fix, really helps scratch the itch! Pros: Very nice interior, smart design to keep the exposed bricks for the very industrial feel. Good selection of games, many less popular tcgs and decent selection of board games. Reasonable pricing for lcg, nothing standing out. Tables available for warhammer, not many places have those. Cons: Tried to call around 6:15pm, google voice ringed for a long time then told me not able to be reached. Made a stop to see if the store has some lorcana starter decks. Walked, no one was at the register, no one greeted me nor acknowledged that they are store employee. After standing by the register for 5 mins ish, decided to pick up a sealed MTG commander deck on display on the counter to check out the price and content. Immediately someone sitting at the gaming area stood up and walked behind the counter to ask me if I m finding everything ok. After hearing I m looking for lorcana decks he explained they are currently sold out but remember placing an order. When asked if the order included starter decks, the clerk told me he can t remember. I then asked them when would the shipment come in, so I can plan a different trip to pick some up, he told me he is not sure, maybe Friday. Sadly those answers are a bit too vague for me to make another effort to stop by the store for very specific items, I might still swing by to support the local small business by purchasing some sleeves and dice. Likely would probably look elsewhere for specific items. Overall the experience is not in the lcgs in the dfw area, both common grounds and madness have better customer service and larger collection with easier to spot store employees. And boardwalk genx has more catered selection for me. 3/5

not at all impressed. Had to wait 10 minutes to get any service at all because only ONE person runs the entire shop (including the register) and he was in the bathroom. Was also not at all impressed with the prices. Came for D&D starting stuff and was reccomened the handbook. Was being sold for nearly fifty dollars in store and a five second google search showed me the same exact copy of that book NEW for 18$ plus free shipping. Only good thing about this place is that it seems like it has a interactive game space with painting and games and such. Would never come here again. Hope you get more staff or honestly there s no way your staying in bussniess much longer imo. Best wishes-lain

Called 3/17 asking about the hours to ensure that they were correct and if they were going to be open until midnight as it said. The gentleman confirmed that they will be open and upon arriving at 9:45 pm, they are closed. Wasted my gas for absolutely nothing and after this, better to just order it online from someone else and at least receive a discount on the product I want. I was willing to pay full price here due to the convenience of them being open so later, but they clearly lied about their hours.

Met some friends here to discuss an upcoming D&D campaign. Its a nice little store and the staff were very friendly, they even offered us a backroom for some privacy while we discussed the game. They had a nice selection of board games, MTG, and minis for multiple games. It was very clean inside and most important of all for any game store in my book, is that i never felt rushed or judged. Everyone was so nice! I will def be back when i am in the area

But it is a little small in that section and the selection of cards for their card games is also on the small side. But dont let that deter you. Very excited to have a gaming store closer to home! We havent been up there to play a game, went first thing in the morning to pick up something but it looks like theyve made a great use of the space to include tables. It looks like they have a good selection in their library to play as well. Staff was very helpful in ensuring we got what we needed and the store was well organized. This is a fantastic place to pick up a hobby! Matt and Jeremy work hard to ensure that you re getting the most out of your tabletop game, your board game, even your card games like Magic the Gathering, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, YuGiOh, and several other up and coming card games like Legend of the Five Rings. My point being, if it is a traditional game that is more complex than Monopoly, Matt and Jeremy can get it for at a fair price (and not mark it up to hell) for you and teach you how to play. I m here frequently to play and teach Dungeons and Dragons to folk so I can honestly say this is the best place to go.

Im a big fan of this store for a few reasons. 1) is proximity. 2) is cleanliness. But 3) is because every single time Ive gone in the staff do everything they can to help me find what Im looking for. They take the time to explain - and even demo - some of the stuff in store that I have questions about. They are knowledgeable, approachable, and more than once have helped me decide on whether to pass or play a game I was interested in. The ONLY knock off the 5 star rating is that selection is mildly limited (in terms of things like dice, or heroclix - smaller collectible stuff). But they have great tables, terrain, and overall layout of the space. And WHAT they carry has enough variance to appeal to super-gamers and casual family-game-nighters alike.

They even offered to order some games for us when we were looking for certain expansions and made sure that I would get them. This is going to my new go-to shop for anything tabletop related! They also host D&D adventure league sessions every Thursdays. I even DMd for the store owners kid. If youre into Warhammer, several tables are set up to make it easier for players to game together without much hassle. Though Im unaware if they host any official events. If youre more into card games, there is a great place in the store for looking at card singles for cheap to help you build your own deck. They also host On top of all of this, the store is a great environment that is always enjoyable. Cheap snacks to grab if you plan on staying for a while, and just great all around.

My favorite game store in the metroplex. They dont have as big an inventory as some others in the area (we are spoiled with superstores like Madness) but they have a good selection of new and popular games from many genres including board & card games, war games, and RPGs (and Im sure they could get anything else if youre willing to wait and want to support a Friendly Local Game Store instead of a faceless web site.) The decor is warm and inviting, theres plenty of space, and there is open gaming many nights (check their schedule.)

This is an amazing store. The staff was so nice and understanding. They dont have Magic: The Gathering on their shelves so I asked them and they said Oh they are right here SO NICE! Most stores I go to now dont have that kind of service. I can tell I am not the only one that thinks because only 30 minutes after opening many people were at the tables playing.
