First AND LAST time ever purchasing anything from this restaurant. The food was nothing short of disgusting and it was clearly thrown together with little to no care from the kitchen. The Mac and cheese was the worst part, I m 99% sure it s just Kraft Mac and cheese, the kind you microwave for 2 minutes in a pre-packaged cup. The kind you add powdered cheese and water to. The catfish, awful. Basically no seasoning. The shrimp, AWFUL. The potatoes? AWFUL. NO SEASONING. This might be the worst seafood experience I ve had in my entire life. I whole heartedly regret giving them any money at all, this is nothing short of a seafood scam. They pretend to be professional and use quality ingredients when in reality they could care less about the food they provide people with. Please don t waste your money here.

My family and I were out shopping and wanted a snack. We saw Rockfish on the corner of the shopping center and decided to give them a try. I m so happy we did! Chris took excellent care of us. We had the crab cakes and the shrimp and crab Louis salad. The food was fresh and very tasty! Chris suggested the thousand island dressing but I wanted honey mustard. He brought me both in case I didn t like one. I ended up eating them both. I could definitely tell the condiments were homemade and did not disappoint. My daughter and I are already planning to go back soon. If you love seafood this is the place to go. I can t wait to go back the next I m in town. Parking: Parking was in a shopping center. Kid-friendliness: My 10 month old grandson had a good time eating at Rockfish too. Chris made sure we had plenty of napkins and a high chair for our little one. And checked on us often making sure we all were having a great experience.

Rockfish has great weekly specials for an awesome value. The frequent deals on grilled fish platters that include a starch and veggie are a quick and healthy week night pickup. You can even grab a couple for a convenient weekly meal prep without the prep! They are also so quick and organized for on the fly orders. More than that, the staff is incredibly nice and go above and beyond to cater to dietary needs and preferences. Our family really appreciates having this staple with its kind staff close by!

Chris B was our server, he was wonderful-attentive, but not suffocating. I asked him to select a white wine for me, and it ,too, was quite good. The grilled oysters were delicious, but the crab cakes not so much. They were okay, just paled compared to the oysters. Fried okra and fried shrimp were crisp and tender. This is most definitely a casual eatery but because our date was later in the evening it was convenient and stayed opened later. I love light seafood but went with fried catfish, creamed corn and a hurricane. The catfish had corn meal breading and was tasty. The drink was yummy and one was more than enough. The creamed corn was very thick and no flavor. I think it needs to be stripped from the menu. Service was good.

We havent been back to Rockfish in a couple of years, and thought we would try for old times sake. We ordered the plank wild salmon with potato salad and broccoli. All of it was so bland and uninteresting! For the price we expected something special. Maybe the fried menu is better? But our meal was very disappointing.

First time in here and we were impressed. I was concerned about going to a fish restaurant on a Sunday, but everything tasted fresh. Best fried okra weve had in a while, I think the bun on my poboy was baked in house, and the wifes fish and chips were second to none. Havent been here in a while for whatever reason but decided to try it during their seafood boil special. They really stepped up their game with a new menu ( since the last time we dined here). Now we have eaten here twice in the last 4 days. The food is great now, the service couldnt of been better. I enjoy the salmon with the pecan crust, wife likes the tilapia with the ponchatran sauce. Did not care for the food. I got something that had 3 items. Cant remember what it was called. I expect Cajun food to be full of flavor, but I found all of this stuff to be pretty bland. The service and food at Rockfish were a pleasant surprise. The vibe on the patio with its trellis and Cajun music caught my eye and ears as I searched for a place to enjoy lunch while waiting for my car to get an oil change nearby. I was greeted inside by Phillip, the server who was really cheerful and helpful as I navigated the perfect place to sit and the menu. The Atlantic salmon tacos on corn tortillas, cheddar grits, and steamed asparagus were delicious. The chef, Tony, checked on me several times when the server got busy. It was overall a really pleasant experience. I will be back again with friends!

We dined at Rockfish May 1 2024. It was my first time there and it didnt disappoint. The establishment was clean, including the bathroom - very important! It was spacious enough to accommodate large parties, but also had a homey neighborhood bar feel - a couple was watching the Dallas Stars play at the bar and chatting it up with a familiar bartender. We were seated and thats where the 5-star experience really began. Jonathan AKA Johnny was our waiter for the evening. I told him it was my first time and to spare no expense with the explanations, which he did. He gave great recommendations, which led to an excellent dinner, Cajun Red Fish! I also tried the Maryland crab cakes, and it totally passed the test. As a Baltimore native, born and raised - this is a major compliment coming from me. Johnny was patient with us when it came time to make decisions about our order. We were dining with a 2 year old and a 7 month old both in high chairs. We got the Rockin green Beans for the 2 year old and she loved them. They were so good that we had a second order sent to the table. He didnt forget about us throughout the evening, was very attentive and patient with the kids. His final recommendation was the fried bread pudding, which we absolutely loved. Ultimately we left, bellies full - with a very memorable service experience thanks to Johnny! Thanks bud! Kid-friendliness: Clean highchairs available, we were sat in area that was spacious to accommodate the highchairs, the environment was fun but not rowdy - there was a diverse crowd. They had family style accessible bathrooms which were clean. Our daughter loved their rocking green beans and ate them like french fries.

I only tried the crab stuffed fish, which was terrible ( stale fish). So bad , it might even warrant a zero star. The service was good, and so was the atmosphere, but youll definitely feel like you just threw away your money for nothing. Update (the following day). Completely amazing. Our server was David he served me and my grandfather the night we came. We ordered a crawfish, shrimp, potato, corn, and crab bowl and he warned us that the amount of food would have been a lot which was good because we wouldn t have been able to eat 2 bowls if we ordered separately. He engaged in conversation with us and all in all was actually a pretty cool guy. He stopped by our table like 50 times which was good because he was making sure we didn t need anything. Definitely one of my favorite servers in my life and I ve been to some top need places. He s what I feel the ideal server should be. Food was exquisite and you know it was good cause me and my grandfather ain t say a word the whole time we ate beside the occasional *grunt* and nod of our heads to signal that the food was great. This place has been our hotspot for a while and will continue to be, I m definitely coming back.

Came here on s Saturday night kinda expecting it to be busy but it was pretty empty. Ordered the spinach dip and Mexican Shrimp cocktail. The dip was 10/10 really tasted fresh. The cocktail on the other hand was not so good, it just tasted off, the bell peppers that were put in it just gave it an off flavor plus the shrimp were so small. I ordered the fish and chips and that dish was super good, a great taste but the coleslaw for some reason had bell pepper and that made it taste weird. Not sure what the kitchen obsession is with that but it just throws off the flavors. Service was amazing! I probably would only go for appetizers honestly.

I went at 8:30pm on a Tuesday yes it was less busy and I felt bad going on even though well before closing time but I m SO glad I did. The server from walking into the door was friendly and kind. My parents came into town and wanted to take my husband and me out to dinner. Our first choice was closed due to moving, so we scrambled and I picked here as it was down the road from their hotel. The food was good, especially for suburban dining (I mean this as a compliment, I swear). We werent expecting the very best of Dallas, but we wanted better than Applebees, and it definitely delivered. The best thing about dinner was our amazing server, Dan. He was knowledgeable about the menu, patient with our questions, and attentive to our needs. Excellent seafood! We ordered plain old fish and chips and volcano shrimp for appetizers. The fish and chips Id rate a 8/10 of the fish was better quality (fish is pollack) it would be higher. They did the best they could with that fish though and it was good. The volcano shrimp was of the charts good.. jalapeno Hush puppies were awesome. Wife got the snow crab and shrimp bowl which was literally a salt and butter soup, there was no flavor at all beyond salt and greasy butter. First time eating here. My family had been curious about it for years. We loved the menu choices and prices. It was not bad, but it wasnt good either. We all said we would not return again because of the lack of seasoning. So much potential. The food could be really good with some seasoning. Whoever cooked the shrimp and fish during dinner on 6/7/23 needs to add some salt and pepper.

Came to this location on 5/4 for the peel n eat shrimp with the $4 Hurricane. I got the garlic & butter. It was okay but needed more seasoning. I added some hot sauce to give it more of a taste. Hurricane Drink was ok. Service was mediocre. The waitress never refilled our drinks, she never ask me would I like another hurricane drink after I had finished it. She attempted to take our plates when I wasnt even done. I asked her why would you think in finished my food, clearly she could see I had about 10 shrimp left and a potato. So in that moment I felt rushed The waitress maybe wasnt experience she didnt read the table, drinks needed to be filled. The other party at the table had an empty plate. She shouldve grab that plate, she didnt. She should have also ask did I need another drink. Empress Moders this was a mediocre experience for me.

The salad with the small frozen shrimp and the crab was extremely smelly. Iceberg lettuce was brown. Lunch portions was on a small dessert plate. Location In Lewisville was extremely slow and had no one in the restaurant. Perhaps they may be cutting cost on the portion and definitely not a seafood place.

Our server Daniel was fantastic! He was super attentive and friendly. Unfortunately, we felt it was a little overpriced for the quality of food. It wasnt bad so we didnt complain or anything. It was just definitely overpriced. This dish was the stuffed salmon. More just 2 pieces of salmon with a small scoop of this mix of lump crab, spinach, and artichoke. I couldnt tell that was what it was really. I just pictured crab chunks, I guess. Its my fault for not asking. Overall props to Dan he gets a 5 star for his service, food is a 3, and price is a 1 star overpriced!

PERFECT. Me and my girlfriend came here originally a few weeks ago and David was our server and I solely wanted him to be my waiter (at every restaurant, HA). But in all seriousness, just the customer service alone makes me want to come back everytime to this location. We had a new server today by the name of Diego and he was wonderful just like David. Can t say enough good things about both these guys and anytime we do eat out, which is rare, we ll be coming here. Great food and amazing service. Love this place but David and Diego are the GOAT s. Thanks for the awesome experience guys!

Walked in to Lewisville (Colony) Rockfish a little before 5:30 pm on 1/13/23 to a mostly empty restaurant. My husband and I got sat immediately but no one waited on us. After we sat there looking around for about 10 min, a male server walked up and asked if anyone had waited on us. We said no, so he got our 2 waters then said hed find our waiter. We sat and sat, staring a hole in all the servers standing around. We finally got up and left. I told the hostess that no one wanted to wait on us so we left. She did not seem concerned either. We are getting great service and food right now at Razzoos instead.
