Little Taqueria with great food and great prices We ordered a taco plate with birria and a burito with Chipotle chicken. Both were absolutely decilious, and both plates were left empty. Prices are also surprisingly fair for the portion sizes.

The cuisine is authentically Mexican and very flavorful. It is obvious that the food is made with pride and absolutely appetizing. The street tacos we ordered were delicious and generously filled with the meat we ordered. Just as important, the owner and family have superior customer service standards that make for a pleasant dining experience. My wife and I were very satisfied and happy when we were done with our dinner there. If you are one who eats local, Taqueria el Chino is definitely a local business that you should support! You wont be disappointed!

For the price, the food was very lackluster. The nachos that I ordered were stale and soggy. For $9.99 you get chips, pico and cheese, which is not worth it. The carnitas were dry and insipid. The carne aside was heavily greasy, however, the amount of meat was good. I wanted to like this place, but not worth price point for the flavorless food.

The Torta Cubano was a fever dream. Ill be back to eat it again, but be ready for a monster of a sandwich. The tacos and meat were all on point and very delicious. We will be back for sure. I went on Saturday morning. I ordered the Green Chilaquiles with Carne Asada and rice and beans, three breakfast tacos and two Birria Tacos. They have the full menu open the whole day. The highlight here were the Chilaquiles. They are among the best weve had. The rice and beans tasted burnt and reheated. The breakfast tacos were dripping grease but were good. The Birria were good as well. Overall really great place especially for the price.

By far the best Birria Tacos I have had in North Texas. Everything else Ive had is great is as well. Ive had their Tacos, Tortas, and Flautas. In the past I started to dislike birria tacos because most places are bland, the tacos here are flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend.

Seeing the reviews I had high hopes. It may have been the time of day we ate (after 7PM) but the food seemed like it had been prepared a long time before and left sitting on a hot pan. The meat on the tacos was really dry. The rice had rock hard chunks in it (they did bring us new servings of rice) I have to believe that if they knew the rice was that bad they would not have served it. The staff was nice, but a huge swing and a miss with the food. 3 people were in our party, bill was about $50. Don t like to leave bad reviews on local non-franchise businesses, but this experience was not good.

At first I thought this was a Chinese place. Till I was standing at the door so when I saw it was a taco place I ordered the taco plate with steak tacos it normally comes with 3 tacos. I got an extra taco it also came with rice and beans. The tacos where kind of small and what ever spice they used made sure my taste buds couldnt taste anything so it was all very bland. No flavor at all.

Today I have had the great surprise that it is the first of many times that we have gone for bread and they serve me today in a bad mood I say good morning to a lady and they dont even answer. I ask for the bread and she tells me that it is ready in half an hour. I go outside to wait the half hour that she told me when suddenly I see another person come in who hasnt even been there for two minutes and he comes out with bread. I think these are not ways to serve. I hope they improve that, and nothing else to talk about. The gentleman is a very good person indeed .

This place is above and beyond. I went three days in a row for lunch, shamelessly, while I was on a job in Lewisville. The barbacoa tacos and birria tacos were spot on! Price point matches or exceeds quality. Very friendly service and fantastic food. The pastries and bread I took home were phenomenal as well. 12/10 would recommend!

I wanted to try a new place in the area and I went with this one. The overall experience was ok. The reason for the rating is due to their lack of knowledge for their menu, over seasoned me, differential pricing from what s displayed online/on menu versus what I was actually charged and overly seasoned food. I ordered meat by the pound as well as menudo. The menudo had good taste but they filled have the cups with bones and it included zero hominy. My family and I will not be going here again. Maybe their dine in experience is better but I wouldn t trust take out.

I cant believe Im writing this about a Mexican restaurant but the Food had no taste at all. My wife and I both ordered a meal with steak. Not only were they over cooked and hard to chew, which is surprising because it was so thin, but they had no taste at all. My grandson had chicken and cheese Quesadilla. The cheese was not even melted inside. My daughters meal came out first, minutes later my grandsons meal came out and halfway though my daughters meal they brought me a meal I didnt order. Finely our two meals came out. They say all good things come to those who wait. NO! They lied! Will not return.

My granddaughter and I visited the area for a mini vacation. We goggled places with sweet bread and menudo. I read the reviews and was pretty excited about trying it, just wish the young lady working the front counter at least acted like she was happy to see customers. It wasnt even busy, only 1 table had customers. I know we interrupted her eating, we seem her when we walked in, but hey, at least she cleaned her mouth with her hand when we walked in. The menudo was nothing but soup and one big pig feet and the taco tortillas were raw, yes, I asked for them to be cooked extra. Out of the 4 days weve been here, we were hoping to have a really nice meal before we hit the road for 31/2 hours and this was the worst place weve been to. Im actually sitting here, waiting for my granddaughter to finish. Sure wish I couldve have the same positive experience Ive read here.

The biggest breakfast burrito Ive ever had! I ordered the bacon egg and cheese and it was delicious. The eggs were not cooked in a large batch in advance. They were fresh. The bacon was very good for the most part; however, there were very very thick chunks of pork (bacon?) that were fairly hard. There was maybe 6 or 7 of those throughout the whole burrito so it wasnt too bad. The burrito was huge so I had half for breakfast and then I ate the other half for lunch that day

A cute little place with really nice people. I ordered the burrito with grilled skirt steak and it was delicious. Pancakes aren t on the menu but we asked if they had any and the cook was more than willing to make some - It was a pretty slow day so this might not be the case at a busier time. Muy amables!
