Went last night for western days .. the food was questionable. The enchiladas tasted like they got dipped in funnel cake oil. The salsa was like shrimp cocktail sauce watered all the way down. The chips tasted like chips you get at the store.the beans had a canned taste. Woke up this morning sick. Wont return or recommend.

Food was alright. The queso was tight Although it was less like queso and more like fondue The margaritas could use some help too. They were sweet which is great, But if you like alcohol, you might be irate. I almost walked out when I saw the Fox News, But we decided to stay in search of new foodz So if you come here, you will surely eat, My husband has hobbit feet.

Fantastic service on a week night for dinner. Unassuming, simple restaurant with outdoor area impressed us with great customer service, calm and pretty outdoor space and good food with a good price to go along. I would recommend the chile rellano. They stuffed it full of delicious cheese and chicken. Their homemade tortilla chips are delicious and pair well with their salsa. They also brought out two salsas in bottle, green and red. Delicious and you can tell it s homemade, not from a bucket. Así tried beef fajitas but sadly the beef was very tough- would not order this again. But the service and ambience made up for it and we are eager to return to try other menu items.

Typical tex-mex menu but with subtle, special touches that make this place real a gem. The menudo is clean and not greasy. Love the cactus tortillas! Chile relleno is my go-to but every thing else weve tried so far was so good. Easily the best Mexican restaurant in Lewisville.

I asked if they sold a Machaca plate. I was told, not on menu, but yes. I tried it yesterday. It was good. I didn t ask how much it was. The bill came out and it was charged at 14.99. Since it s not on the menu, owner told waitress to list it as another menu item. When I said that was very uncompetitive, the waitress went to owner and owner essentially said not negotiable . We were regulars, but this attitude has ended my patronage of this place.

I am giving it a 5Star because this young lady was by herself and today was gorgeous after the storm last night. The carnitas tacos oh my so good. My chips were stale the salsa was Soo watered down. And the ants and flyers on the patio. The owner can put plants out that the pest outside do not like. Out of all the negatives, this place has great potential. I am rooting for it... I got more tacos today go..

Wonderful little place for authentic as it can get Mexican food in the vicinity. A small restaurant with limited capacity but on summers there is an outdoor patio. The salsas were flavorful and there was a spicy one too. Loved the salsa Verde , very close to homemade. We tried the beef burrito and taco al pastor , both were rich in flavors and the al pastor was spicy n good. The service was with love and with a smile. The food is very affordable, unfortunately they ran out of their guacamole which I wanted to taste.very clean place and there is live music on Fridays at the outdoor patio. Surely a will visit again place.

Good spot. Secluded and private feeling despite being an open seating floor plan in a downtown area. Service was good, food was good, margaritas were fantastic. Normally not on this side of town but was in the area and craving Mexican food. Tried going to three other places and 1 was closed due to construction (but didnt notify anywhere), the other had reviews of rude racist staff members, and the last only accepted cash. This spot is a diamond in the rough. Try it. You wont be disappointed.

FOUND A GERMAN ROACH IN A SOPE. I never write reviews but this one deserves it. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. DO NOT COME HERE. My girlfriend and I both encountered PESTS IN THE RESTAURANT. One time there was a MOUSE RUNNING AROUND in the back of the restaurant where the restrooms are. We informed the owner of the restaurant and he seemingly took care of the matter but the next time we came to the restaurant to give this place a second chance, I kid you not, there was a DEAD GERMAN COCKROACH ON HER PLATE . HER PLATE!!!! She noticed the freshly dead cockroach in her sope as she was half way through eating what she thought was such a delicious meal. Little did she know there was a German cockroach on top of her lettuce. Absolutely inexcusable and unacceptable. Again, we informed them and they seemed to be unbothered as if they have known about their pest issues. The manager was on site and didn t even approach us to apologize or let us know that they would take initiative to solve their pest issue. To make matters worse, they told us they would just charge us for my meal and not my girlfriend s. We obviously did not agree and walked out. My girlfriend frequently came to this restaurant prior to these incidents, but will never come back. Needless to say, neither will I. Save your money, time, and health. Go elsewhere.

Lets hope they improve!

The barbacoa is a big portion, with home made green tortillas de maíz, a big cup of consome w/cilantro, onion and limes & don t forget the salsa. The pozole come with the rábanos, lime, tostadas. Menudo same. The barbacoa tacos with the red salsa were FIREEEEE. If you are looking for mild salsa try the green salsa. I ve had the caldo de res and that what made me order from here. Customer service was great. They are going to start selling tamales and the lady was really trying to sell them. Can t wait to try them!!

They re style of food wasn t exactly in line with what I like but despite that it was so very good. I really liked their corn and cactus tortillas. The service during our last visit was below expectations, as we waited nearly 25 minutes for our check after we were done eating, and asked for the check multiple times while the server took more tables. It will not prevent us from coming back, just a small service hiccup at the end of our meal.

Everything was decent (beef was chewy, beans were watery) but the big shock was when we got the bill and the plate we said we ordered to share (fajitas mixta) was 29.99 rather than $18. Nothing on the menu clarifies this is the practice (nothing on the menu is priced 29.99) and Everything else we ordered was more than the listed price on the menu. 2 modelos and guac and one plate to split was $54 before tip. Wild. Im only reviewing now as a warning because I googled afterwards to have a double check of the menu prices. We literally ordered based on the prices for a quick lunch after a hike at LLELA, so for the check to come and its 50% extra, we just should have been told when ordering that the menu isnt accurate.

I regularly come to this restaurant, and they always have good service, but today this or the service was terrible, and the meat was tough, tampiqueña, and the childrens menu doesnt have many options.

Very good Mexican food. Loved the flautas and magonada. Very yummy and was a nice place for our group of 8 to have a good meet up. Our waitress was so sweet. She did well for a big group.

Food was amazing. Got the chicken empanada which was the best I ever had. The mangonada was on point. Its a small restaurant so it was kind of loud but very cozy. They also have a real life Dora working there . Bad joke but I had to make it. (See photo)

We were driving in Old Town Lewisville and saw one parking spot in front of Jalisco s and decided to try something new! So glad we stopped! I took our servers suggestion and ordered the empanadas con a pastor and my husband ordered the cubano torta. It was all very good! They have signs posted that they have live mariachi on Friday nights! They have Medudo, Pozole and Borrego on the weekends so we might have to come back and try it! Cute patio area to boot with reasonable drink prices!

First time visit and OMG, the food was so good! Real Mexican home cooked meals that taste delicious. We went at about 5pm and we were there only ones there on a Thursday night. The next couple of people arrived at 5:30pm. Were went home with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Id go back again, probably for another date night!

We have eaten here a many times with excellent service and delicious food. Except for tonight, our service was horrible. We had a party of 6,had family from out of state. Our food was served to us one at a time..half of us were done by the time 2 of our party was served. Had to ask multiple times for our drinks as well as the qaso that was ordered. Were not sure if well go back or not.

They have a staffing issue and the server was nice but horrible. Asked for a round of margaritas and it took 25 minutes before we got them.but we watched 3 rounds go out to the patio. We ordered tacos, literally came out with a tortilla and meat..nothing else.. no sour cream, no cheese, no lettuce, nothing... To say the least, not worth going.

The parking situation to get to this location is a challenge, but i will say its worth the effort. A table a range of variety in the menu highlighting some of the most iconic dishes in this type of cuisine. It was unfortunate i didnt get a change to try more than one but certainly will return to do so. The complementary chips are fresh and phenomenal and the homemade salsa, excellent. Not enough spice? You still be asked and if you want the smoke, Mamas extra hot salsa will be introduced and bring fire to the table. Really enjoyed this place, delicious.
