Location is great and quiet. Best thing this place had going for it. Rooms are old, dated and empty. Bathrooms feel gross to be in. Between stains and mold on the shower curtains, the water- damaged walls and the endlessly dripping bathtub, I just did not want to be in this bathroom. There were no complementary items like shampoos or lotions. I cant remember there being even a coffee pot or water kettle not that I would use it if there were due to the state of the place. The second floor smelled heavily of cigarette smoke despite the floor being exclusively non smoking. From the second floor, you could see the filled in pool thats displayed every so lovely on their Google page here. Dont believe it. Its a whole lie. Also, for those staying more than a night, I hope you are good with them coming in to clean while youre gone because there is no DnD sign to put out. This is a little funny, too, because Im not sure what they cleaned. They refolded our bedsheets (also stains btw) and replaced (probably, no way to tell whether they didnt just reroll our towels) our towels and... I think that was it. The first night, a shower loofah had been left from the previous occupants so Im not really convinced cleaning happens ... at least not to me basic standards. So whats good? Its great for travelers. Its quiet, safe, and near plenty of food options as well as grocery stores. These open to an interior hallway. There are not many alternatives of any kind on this area. The ones that are available are right off of the freeway in a very crappy series of construction and they all have outdoor access rooms. The final reason they get a second star is because we left early due to the above issues and they refunded us the unused remainder without a problem or a fight. I could let the pool go (the kids was not happy but they at least found it funny for a bit) if it wasnt so prominently displayed. I wish this place were just a little nicer. Currently, its uncomfortable and I think, in the future, i would rather stay a little farther from my family whom I was visiting in the area for a little more comfort.

I had to fight the roaches off the toilet so I could use the bathroom, the sink wouldnt drain so wasnt much fun trying to brush teeth. I dont know what the deal is because Ive stayed here a lot and have never had a problem maybe new management. Hope they get there stuff together because would like to go back

I rarely write reviews and seldom complain, as I usually dont have the time for it. During my stay at this establishment, I brought along my two well-trained dogs, ensuring that they wouldnt have any accidents indoors. Additionally, I made sure to leave the room in a clean state before checking out. However, to my disappointment, I found that the sheets, room, and bathroom were all unclean. Despite this, I chose not to voice my concerns since I was only staying for one night. Interestingly enough, the following morning, I observed the staff cleaning the rooms with minimal supplies - just two bottles and a small rag. It was disheartening. Upon check-in, I had paid a $50 deposit for my dogs, with the understanding that it would be refunded within a few days. When I called to inquire about the deposit, I was informed that my dogs had left urine and feces in the room. This accusation angered me greatly, as it was simply not true. I expressed my frustration to the staff, even contemplating involving my bank in the matter. However, I ultimately decided against it, as I didnt want to waste any more time or energy on this issue. I have a strong dislike for individuals who prioritize being frugal over maintaining cleanliness. If one chooses to be economical, they should at least ensure that the basic amenities, such as clean sheets, are provided. After all, we are all destined to pass away, and its important to remember that money holds no value in the afterlife.

We rent a 2-bed room, the pool is no longer available, it is full of dirt, the walls are stained, the bedspreads have stains and holes, the hallway has the smell of humidity and cigarettes, there is no breakfast, there is no hand soap and there is only a very small amount of soap. to take a bath. There is a small refrigerator and a microwave, the bathroom is a good size although not very clean, it is quiet, a TV , the air worked well, registration was quick, we paid in cash 150 per day. (Added photos). Rooms: They lack deep cleaning. Nearby activities: There are Mexican and American restaurants Safety: Im not very sure. Walkability: I dont know if there was an elevator, we went up to the second floor via the stairs. Food and drinks: Only outside the hotel. Noteworthy details: Bring what you need. Otherwise you will have to go out and buy such simple things that the hotel should have

The hotel is very quiet and the staff was polite. I enjoyed my stay here and will return when needed. It isnt far from any stores, restaurants, and major grocery stores. Rooms: The rooms are quiet and tidy. I smelled the cleaning upon entering my room. The bed was very comfortable. No complaints. . Safety: I did not feel threatened in any way while at this hotel. Food and drinks: There is a variety of different options to fulfill your taste in the area.

Awesome location, directly off the access road but also tucked away to where you dont even know its here. Due to that, its not super busy either. Perfect. Its genuinely clean, no bugs, the staff is helpful and nice, aaaand last but not least.. theres not alot of riffraff loitering around like a lot of other places have. Ive been here for awhile now and have enjoyed myself and felt safe being completely solo, half way decent looking, young lady and thats my top requirement when relocating. This place looks and feels like its a 2 thumbs up spot, and I appreciate the great hospitality provided! *KRP* Rooms: They do have a few smoking rooms but its not super noticeable so it didnt bother me. Clean and comfortable rooms. Low rate in the area because they do not have coffee maker and iron in the room but I dont use it so dont want to pay extra for it at other motels. Have microwave and fridge. Morning coffee. Clean and comfortable all I need so 5*, AC worked fine. Very quite at night. Had a good sleep

On 7 21 23 I called to get a room for 3 nights for a friend after that my friend called and said he was not going to make it in to town. I called motel 6 back less than 20 minutes later. They told me I was not going to get a refund on the room. $280.00 plus dollars. I have already put a stop payment on my credit card. No stars if I could.

The customer service at this location is way below standard. The female manager/Owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. The cleaning crew will start waking up guests at 9:00 am even though check out time is at 11:00 am. They are extremely rude as well. Please do not stay at this location 5151 Thaxton Pkwy, North Richland Hills, Texas 76180. Also, the non smoking rooms just smell of smoke. **DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION **. It definitely gives all motel 6 a bad reputation.

Nonsmoking room - nice, clean, bed was comfortable, but still smells like smoke due to the surrounding rooms and other tenants smoking on the stairwells, right outside the rooms, etc. At check-in, specifically asked for a room with no bed bugs, nonsmoking, clean, and the clerk was very kind to say that he will give us one of their nicest rooms. Thank you. It was. Gave a 3 only due to the smoke. Am allergic to smoke and coughed throughout both nights there. The interstate traffic nearby kept me up as well. It didn t bother my family member, though.

This place is absolutely TERROR-A-BLE. If i hadnt been driving for 17 hrs i would have definitely went on to another hotel. I reserved a non- smoking room, they gave a smoking. I tried to call down and even walked down change rooms and nobody bothered to come back to the desk. The place had holes in the sheetrock, burn holes in the comforter and curtains and the security deadbolt barely made it into the frame to lock the door. It looks like they start a remodel and move on to another before they finish.....find another place or sleep in ur car.

clean, no bugs...ever. For the price you cant beat it, no deposits. Stayed here several times and staff are always courteous. if you mind your business they mind theirs. 2 big drawbacks.... at 9.30am they will start knocking on the door for housekeeping even though checkout is at 11am.....very very annoying and they dont have any kind of breakfast, not even toast. Stayed here for 5 days. Housekeeping wakes you up at 9 am. Also upon check out they charged my bank card 30 dollars for a trashcan and ice bucket that I never had. Was told according to the housekeeper it was there. Come on 5 days earlier you can say that? I used my own trashcan and trash bags. Had a refrig so didnt need the ice bucket. Wont stay here again.

Rooms: The rooms are spacious and clean. Nice tv and nice bathroom. Safety: Parking lot was well lit and most parking spaces are not far from entrance of the motel. It is located in a quiet area by itself, but its not but a block away from z Rice Snow Dr which has plenty of places to eat and other shops etc.. Food and drinks: Lots and lots of places to eat and drink very nearby the motel, about a block away... Very convenient. Plus a large grocery store is located behind the motel as well.

It is ok but I will never stay there again the maid service wakes people up at 9 and says its check out time when check out time aint till 11 and they were very rude if ur a second late they call the cops on u and if ur sitting outside waiting for a ride or ur money to hit ur card they then tell u that. U cant wait on their property and they are supposed to be pet friendly I was sittin at the bottom of the stairs after they kicked us out and said if I didnt have my dog I could wait in the lobby but bc I had my dog I had to wait outside which is exactly what I did and they still told me I had to leave I then came back ready to pay for a room and they turned me away bc I had my friend come and stay the night with me over all they r rude and uptight I dont recommend staying there

I have just had back surgery and asked for extra pillows. The front dest person lied to my husband (after he saw an entire tub of pillows) and said they didn t have any. When I called to ask why the person that answered told me to count the number of pillows in our room. I guess they will leave the light on but screw you and your comfort.

It was horrific! I let my husband book our stay this time-comin from STL, we had alot planned and I just wanted a clean place...well, he did exactly what I asked lol-Super thrown when we pulled up too! Staff was helpful and cleaned round the clock-anytime we travel, I ALWAYS bring my own sanitizing stuff-i wipe down doorknobs, microwave, remotes, etc....this is literally the first time Ive done so and there was no dirt found(except a few hairs from someone who shaved in the sink) ...besides the welcoming hair in the sink, i was disappointed the pool looked like it had mold floating and water was green(I actually had my swimsuit ready too lolbvs)!! We also saw our first couples argument here -if we get a clean place to sleep, ice machine and entertainment, well definitely be back

Probably the absolute worst room ever! We checked in and went upstairs to the room (no elevator). The room was bare, no pictures, bare walls that seen better days. The bedspread was well worn, had holes in it and blood stains. Sheets looked dingy. Had a small fridge that was in desperate need of defrosting and a microwave. There was a TV and a wooden chair. No dresser, no desk. End tables had lamps and no drawers. We noticed the door was warped and wouldnt take much to break in as you could see the latch. This looked like something youd rent by the hour, if you get my drift. We were only there an hour, mainly to find other accommodations. Thought Motel 6 advertised a Clean comfortable room . Probably will never trust another Motel 6.

We had an issue at our house so we were using this hotel for the restroom facilities. As soon as you walk in any common area here, you are hit with the smell of weed and it never goes away. Fortunately, our room didnt smell but once you sit on the sheets/bed they had a musty smell. The room wasnt fully cleaned when we got there. Also I noticed throughout our time there randomly the light would be on and I always turned it off before leaving and furniture was moved... this was during the day after the room was serviced. So someone was entering our room for no reason. Also they do not have do not disturb signs anywhere to put on your doorknob. Pay the extra couple dollars and do not stay here!

Im a truck driver on a dedicated contract in DFW. This had an adequate room. There was a small laundry room, television with cable, Wi-Fi (which for me was a bit slow) microwave, refrigerator, hot water, decent water pressure, comfortable bed. The things I needed for two nights stay. They dont charge a lot and so I dont ask a lot.

Stains on pillow, bed, sheets, walls, curtain, toilet, table, and couch. No hand soap to wash hands in bath. Smoke smell outside door of non-smoking suite. Extremely unhygienic lodging especially during COVID times.

Rooms are too hot. The AC is working very poor power. Some rooms smell funny. Some television are not working. Bathroom, toilet, and showers are in good condition and clean the bed are fine...the people working in there are very nice

Not your usual Motel 6. This location used to be another motel and it is very nice! I have stayed there a few times and never had a complaint or problem. Well, except one time, about 2 years ago when I used a towel to clean up a spill!! The house keeper must be one of the owners!! She got all over me and told me not to use the good towels for that!! She said they had rags for that and I should ask for one next time . It was kind of funny. Made me fill right at home. I thought my mama was scolding me!! This last time I didnt spill anything and I had a great time! I really enjoyed my stay. Housekeeping was wonderful!! If you are ever in North Richland Hills it is a great place to stay. Clean place, friendly staff, good area with a Chinese buffet restaurant right next door and McDonalds within walking distance and many other restaurants close by. If you prefer a simple, selfmade meal in your room, there is a large grocery store just across the parking lot and a Wal-Mart only 5 minutes away. I recommend this place to anyone. My dog enjoyed it too!!

The worst hotel ever! Stayed her for several days and barely survived. The maid is the rudest person I have ever met in my life. The smell of this place reeks of marijuana and shady people everywhere. Do not stay here!
