We hadn t been here in a while. I saw a Facebook post about 3 specials of the day. Ordered the special, but was told it was for lunch only. Showed the cashier to post. He thanked me for showing him and informed me he d fix it the next time he posted. I ordered the catfish, grilled. Received one small fillet (probably what you would expect for lunch) $15. Mac and cheese tasted quite old. Husband had a mediocre steak. Son (3 years old) had chicken fingers (2) and a hand full of sweet potatoe fries - it wasn t enough to fill him up. Pretty disappointing- we used to love this place. Food wasn t great. Service wasn t great and the value definitely wasn t there. Sadly, It ll probably be our last visit.

This place is a hidden gem, no frills. The food is always hot and fresh--made to order. Their chicken fried chicken and chicken fried steak are always spot on. Its a great value for the money. And their daily lunch specials are unbeatable. Definitely recommend.

I have lived down the road from this restaurant for years. Three times I went I was very disappointed. Do not waste your time with the country fried steak it is none stop chewy and breading falls off the moment you start trying to cut it.. maybe only buying there steaks or maybe burgers might be better cause its grilled.. but not happy.. 28 Dollars down the drain

this has to be the best place to eat in lewisville!!! Everything about my experience was none the less amazing. The atmosphere was so welcoming as soon as i walked in i was greeted by the lovely staff, the service was one of the best ive ever experienced they had my food on time the provided me with everything i asked and made me feel if i was as home. The food was so astounding i had the chicken fried chicken lunch special i recommend it to everyone that comes it was so amazing one of the best things ive ever tried. Although it was my first time eating here they truely held up to there name, they left a landmark on my food map and i will be coming back!!

Absolutely rude! Would not take my family here even if they paid for my meal absolutely horrendous service no personality new management is terrible. Stay far away from this place if you want to get a good deal on a family dining experience. Stereotypes and speculates the crowds that come in and bases that upon what types of food they sell you. We wanted to order the ribs special we arrived at 12:15 and we re told that all of the steaks were sold for the day when they open at 11 AM. then asked for a drink after being seated and waiting for 10 minutes for our food to be made to be told and speculated against and watched when I got water from the water machine absolutely despicable. Treated herd of cattle not a family restaurant at all.

Their customer service stand out big time. The BBQ was very good and the portion was appropriate for the price not over not under but just right. This BBQ place is located in a small town but it has big taste and they really take good care of their customers. It was my first time there I had a half a pound of chopped beef with coleslaw and sautéed mushrooms. Very very good stuff. The atmosphere was nice but some of the seats had holes and such, not a big deal I was there for the BBQ. Great hospitality.

OnceUponaTime in the old days (good to see they are still here), late 80s, through the 90s, early 2000s, when GTE Phone yard was across the road, lunch was great. Never had a bad meal. Had bunches of really good meals. Its the grill! Only one of Its kind in the neighborhood. Steaks done right,mesquite fire ...if I was 200 miles closer Id definitely be a regular. Ive never been here before, and we were out and about and needed to get some lunch. We were trying to decide where to go and while driving we passed by this restaurant. Decided to go in and see what it was like. First off, dont expect anything fancy. Its a clean place but the decor is lacking. But you cant eat decor, so no worries about that. The menus are on the wall as you walk in, and you order at the counter. I noticed they had $10 lunch specials, and one of them was catfish. I love good catfish and wanted to try. Fried catfish with two sides. I ordered Cole Slaw and mixed grilled vegetables. Didnt have to wait long for it to be on the table. It looked great and tasted great also. Catfish was perfectly dine, and the grilled vegetables were really good. The Cole Slaw was good also. So, with unlimited trips to the drink fountain, it made for a good quick lunch. The specialization Mesquite grilled meats, and I bet their pretty good based on what I see. Good lunch crowd there that day, The staff here was nice and friendly.

We finally tried this restaurant recently. I ve seen it for a while driving by and thought we d give it a try. The menu has a good selection of items on it and the prices are reasonable as well. We tried the steak sandwich and the chicken fried steak sandwich. Both were ok. Neither one not very big. The steak sandwich would have been better served on a hoagie rather than a hamburger bun. The chicken fried chicken was a relatively small piece of meat also on a hamburger bun. If we do go back we ll try something other than sandwiches.

The Landmark Grill at first glance appears to be a hamburger/steak restaurant. Upon arrival you are greeted with a large menu with many BBQ offerings. I ordered my standard three meat with pork ribs, moist brisket and jalapeño sausage. My sides were coleslaw and Mac and cheese. The wife got a two meat She got chicken and sausage with a baked potato as her side. First let me say I was surprised when getting my drink and seeing all the sauces available like hot sauce, steak sauce and various hot sauces but no bbq sauce. When the plates came out o saw why. All meats were slathered in bbq sauce. For me this is always disappointing as I want to taste the meat not the sauce. As this was our first time here I didnt know this is how its served otherwise I would have asked for the sauce on the side. My brisket was cut from the flat and was dry. There was a smoke ring but with so much sauce I couldnt taste the meat. The sausage was ok but nothing different than I would have had at countless other bbq places. The ribs I would think were par cooked and finished off over the open grill. The char was so strong on one side that the meat tasted like charcoal. The meat fell off the bone. Now I know this is what a lot of people think is the absolute pinnacle of ribs but its not. The bones turned white almost as soon as I pulled the meat off showing how overcooked the ribs were. My sides were decent but nothing memorable. All in all my food was good just not what I would expect for Texas BBQ The wifes chicken was cooked similarly to m ribs, fired over the grill with lots of char. The meat was good but overpowered by all the bbq sauce. Her sausage was the same as mine. She commented that it was the same as any other place. Her baked potato was good but just a baked potato. The wife asked me if I would come back, this place is fairly close to where we live, and I thought about it and said probably not for BBQ as I feel we have other choices. She said she would. I didnt dislike the food, I think this is close to what I would expect from a home backyard bbq up north. Food cooked over a grill and then covered in bbq sauce. As google only allows full stars I gave this place a 4 star but in actuality I would have done a 3.5. For the price it was fair.

I had high hope for this place seeing the reviews. I ordered a 3 meat plate. The chicken was wonderful as was the sausage. But the brisket was almost inedible like it was 2 days old reheated in a microwave. We also got a brisket quesadilla that was good. The haystajes were great. Ordered the steak nachos and the meat was chewy. We only drink water and it tasted bad like they dont clean the machine or lines. For desert we got the chocolate mouse cake amd black berry cobbler. The cobbler was delicious, but the mousse cake was dry and I needed a drink to be able to swallow it. Not sure if Ill go back

The food tasted fine except the beans. The beans could be too spicy for sensitive taste buds and it runneth over the cup that it seeped out and caused other food items to become spicy. Nonetheless, what you see in the photo is what we got. For the small family pack, $38.96, the menu description implies it would feed 2-4 ppl. Every visit to Landmark Grill is the same....... AMAZING!!!! . My wife and son got the Porch Chop Lunch Special.....1 fried and 1 grilled and they both LOVED their chops!!! Wife grabbed the Loaded potato with her fried chop and the boy got Mac and green beans. I got the Chicken Fried Steak Lunch Special with mashed potatoes and grilled veggies........and I am always pleased with the seasoning of the steak and the breading.........and can I say perfect breading!!!! Went out for a friends birthday who loves trying random food places we find. We had a group of five and every single one of us had something wrong. One of our party members who had a medium rare sirloin ended up with one that was actually cold in the center. He bit into it and it grossed him so bad he couldnt eat the rest of his food. After three things being wrong we didnt want to make any more fuss so we just left to go get food somewhere else.

The Burgers are good. Be sure to check your order. Its 50/50 if they get it right. By getting it right. They sometimes make cheese burgers with out cheese and sometimes when you request no cheese they add it on. The Fajitas at least tonight were not good at all. Meat was tough and very fatty. Forgot beans with the order. Again not a bad restaurant just requires you check your order and stick to what they do well. Burgers!

Good cheeseburger, decent tea, good fried okra. But seeing everyone in the kitchen not using hair nets, facial hair nets, masks or gloves doesnt give me a lot of confidence. I basically only eat here when my friends want to. Then theres also some employees child running around unsupervised in the dining area: please pay whoever it is enough of a wage so they can put their child in daycare. The bathrooms were also nasty. I dont recommend this place.

Landmark has been around FOREVER! Still a local favorite. Yes, its a little worn inside, but its always clean Good value for the money. You order from the counter and get your own drinks. So.....we tried this place on GrubHub and we ordered chicken fried chicken and fried catfish. I ate the catfish loved it.....my husband ate later on I think it was chicken fried steak by accident because it came with gravy but Boy! I will tell you he loved all of it. So much that we are ordering here again today! LoL it was delicious I dont do much complaining these days because of covid everyone is short or overworked but please know We loved the food and even when they were out of an item they called my phone. Probably one of my favorite restaurants. when they actually make the food correctly. I have been here many times and only about half the time is my steak cooked correct. Also about half of the time the wait staff is rude and impatient. The food itself is delicious. They have great prices as well. They just need to get some things sorted out to be a great restaurant.

Im a little surprised to be having to write this. Especially with how this place seems to be taken by the locals. I confess myself rather disappointed. Walked in, menu had a nice selection with a variety if option and at first the excitement was there. Cashier greeted us nicely took our order and explained options/sides. Then we sat down. Got waters (werent handed cups) took us a few minutes to realize we were suppose to get waters from cashier. So no big...Waited for food then we find out they switched our orders with someone else. Okay wait for that to be fixed. Food comes out, the broccoli has no flavor, the onion rings are like bricks they are over fried and too thick of a coating. The brisket is dense and dry even with the sauce which was a nice smokey flavor. The sausage was good thankfully. On the flip side the burger that my partner ordered was almost dead it was so well done, the cheddar cheese was shredded not sliced and the mushrooms didnt come out until 2 minutes after the burger got there. I have to say rather disappointing.

Tenderloin was cooked to order and tasty, but I was disappointed there was no food bar to top my baked potato. I only got what they put on the potato in the kitchen. Most places like this would at least have a small bar to add jalapenos cheese or bacon bits.

Best burger I ve ever had, anytime I m in Lewisville, I stop by for a medium well burger. Took my grandfather here one time, he was 84, he said, I m 84 years old and I ve had a lot of burgers. This is the best hamburger I ve ever had!
