Tried to hold out on getting legal help and see if the Prosecutor would give me a plea, but seemed thats not how it works. I called a bunch of lawyers and narrowed my choice down to Phillip Goff. He was leaving a seminar related to updated information regarding my type of charges, and called after hours a few times to discuss. He gave me the direct information, didnt beat around the bush about possible hinderances and I just had that feeling I could count on him, so I took the chance, and very glad I did. As a Marine I dont trust many people. I wouldnt hesitate to use his service again. Prompt Updates and direct to the point, no sugar coating.

Let me start by saying I hate leaving reviews. Good bad or indifferent-I never take the time to do so. However -this time I MUST share! I had about 7 outstanding citations from many years of not following the rules to say the least. I finally started to clean up the wreckage of my past. I looked up this place -called and immediately had 21 questions. They not only assisted me with answering my questions (before i had my decision with going with them) and I never felt judged or pressured to move forward . So I took a leap of faith with hiring Phillip Goff and his team! They not only exceeded my expectations but stayed in constant communication every step of the way. I never felt lawyered in fact the entire process was quite comforting knowing I had a team that was not only professional but knowledgeable. Full disclosure: This is an amended review, as my initial review was a bit unfair. I chose this law firm to handle my traffic citations. I have several so I knew it was gonna be somewhat complicated. Of all the attorneys I had contacted, this attorney was the most prompt in responding back. His assistant, Cat, was initially helpful and informative, but unfortunately, often came across as rude and patronizing. For the sake of keeping this review as succinct as possible, I was not completely satisfied with the end result. I do believe that there were certain things that should have been verified and thoroughly examined before hand. I also believe that communication could have been better on both ends. To their credit, any issue that came up or mistake on their part was addressed and handled. Navigating the legal system is a complicated and arduous process, and can be overwhelming. While the end result wasnt technically unfavorable, a lot of the time I felt like I was dealing with employees of the municipal court, rather than an attorney fighting on my behalf for the best possible outcome.

I Contacted Goff Law Firm regarding a traffic violation my first contract was with Cat who was very knowledgeable and able to inform me of what I needed to do get started. After paying my fee which I would have to say looking back was very reasonable considering the time it took took to resolve this matter due to the courts back log due to COVID. The Municipality we were dealing with gave me several hurdles including wrongly threatening to send warrants for my arrest after which I messaged my concerns to Cat and Mr. Goff. Sometimes in life things happen that are just unexpected! I contacted them regarding a citation on 3-19-19. I rarely got contacted with updates. And when I did try to call I would get a snappy response, my favorite was Stop calling . Last year I was forced to get a new car, which I needed that citation resolved. I called again, no repones. That is when I decided to contact the court myself. The clerk informed me that they hadn t been contacted, and that I all I needed was to pay half of what I owed to get it resolved. It s been almost a year now since that happened, and till today no one has contacted me to ask what happened. Therefore wasting $300 dollars.
