Peaceful fishing hole in a ducked off residential/ park area of Lewisville. PROs- Shaded areas available to post up and fish Room to setup for a BBQ or picnic Plenty of side-of-the-street parking Restaurants, convenience/ gas stores, and bait & tackle shops nearby CONs- With rain, flooding caused issues with water levels, giving false markers for fishing setup points. Access roads may be blocked off when flooding has occurred

It was nice but my family really liked it so I guess it warrants four stars Toilets: Didnt see any restrooms, but wasnt necessarily looking for them Dog-friendliness: Too many dogs, problem is nobody cleans up after them there was so much dark poop you had to be careful how you walked. Picnic area: Lots of picnic area, was quite crowded cuz it was the beginning of memorial weekend

My 59-year-old Hispanic mother left for a second to collect something from the car in the parking lot, and on her way back, security was very rude and prevented her from coming back in. It wasnt even the nice ladies at the gates preventing her; it was those rude men in the carts going around.

Weedy lawns across needs a lot of improvement overall a nice place for a quick evening visit keep in mind it s not a free park you need pay 10$ for vechile single entry

We drove 40 min to reach this park and had very bad experience. $10 entry free is not worth for this park. There was a big queue due to issue with payment machine at the entrance. Inside the park, people were playing very loud spanish music. And no lawn maintenance.

Card reader to pay for day pass to fish doesn t work. All park bathrooms are locked at 9am on a weekday. Called for help. Call back said they had someone coming to help with paying for the day pass. No one showed up. Very disappointing. Don t know why we re paying fees & taxes for this.

It is wonderful place to take kids during weekend. My son loves being here and swimming. It is great place to be in the weekend.It is one of the best example of waterfront planning. This lake is the great way to beat the hot weather of Texas during summer. I think everyone should visit here for enjoyment.There are lots of picnic spot to have fun with family and friends. Lake Park offers a wide shoreline and view of Lewisville Lake, alongside a few cliffs on the western end of the park for great lake views. There are several frisbee spots for those who enjoy playing frisbee. Lewisville Lake is really defined by its fishing aspect, so if you are looking to have a great fishing experience, Lake Park is the place to go. There is a fishing barge located at the western end of the park. Overall, it is the go-to place for swimming and fishing with the family.

Good place for picnic. But the table needs to be cleaned and there is too much loud music from another group. There should be some music volume limit, Good for others and natures. Natural environment! To enjoy with family! You can prepare food, bring drinks and relax a little. The schedule is until 10pm when the Police arrive to maintain order! Dont forget to leave your area clean, to contribute to a cleaner environment. Dog-friendliness: Pets can be there! You just have to take good care of them! **WARNING** Please don t underestimate how deep the water is at the buoys/floaty blockage. IT IS 8-10 FEET DEEP. We actually saved 3 people from drowning. They thought that area was walkable & the young girl started drowning & then the brother starting drowning by trying to save her. We heard AYUDA! (HELP!) and thankfully we had our floatie with us. My bf and I were lucky that another person came to push us to shore. It took 3 people to push them to shore. We are thankful to be alive! Please swim with caution! **** AVISO!!! **** TENGAN CUIDADO AL NADAR! La área donde está las boyas/los flotadores esta HONDO/PROFUNDO! 3 Personas casi se hogaron pensando que estaba pachito. La muchacha empezó a hogarse y el hermano quiso salvarla y tragó agua. Gracias a dios que teníamos un flotador y ellos pudrieron subirse. Mi novio, yo, y un señor tuvimos que ayudarlos a nadar hacia la orilla. Por favor no naden a lo hondo y usen salvavidas!! NOTE TO MANAGEMENT: Please write warnings in english AND spanish. This area has a lot of hispanic people. I m begging you to use the money you take from people to put more warnings or at least hand out spanish & english park regulations.

Beautiful scenery, cool lake breeze, cold water, soothing nature........ no, I am sorry. It is not. Nonetheless, it is what we have..... if you can tolerate 110 degrees summer heat, you can BBQ for your loved ones. Remember, you will roast like your BBQ . In the afternoon, sometimes even people in the water look . Still, I enjoy watching people having fun with their friends and family. If you make it to the park before 2 pm, the temperature is actually manageable. The breeze is actually pleasant in the morning until about noon. So, you should BBQ before noon. Bring gazebo and lots of sunscreen.

Great park! We love to launch our boat at this park. It is a small fee for day use but totally worth it to use the amenities. They have a lot of areas for picnics. There are 2 boat ramps and swimming areas as well as camping areas.

Played a round of disc golf. The course is nice, very challenging. The only problem was people. 3 holes were along the lake and were difficult to play for fear of hitting them with discs. Play this course in the winter when the shoreline isnt filled with beach combers.

Where is not a place for change cloth after swimming . The restrooms under reconstruction and closed. It have one plastical mobile restrums. The enter to here is very difficult for found it. As alone challenge it is OK, but is not more. The sand is dirty and have a bits of glass and sharp plants seeds.

Nice lake. Great views. Trash along some of the shoreline was sad to see. Disc Golf Course was a really nice touch with elevation changes and panoramic views. Come out, but bring some shade, sunblock, and plenty of water to survive this Texas heat.
