I appreciate the friendly and attentive service, which deserves five stars. However, I found the seafood dish to be very disappointing. The taste and texture were quite off, and I couldnt finish it after a few bites. Unfortunately, I ended up discarding it without requesting a refund.

We had a late lunch. We ate the two-choice special for $10.99. w/ two sides. Prices are reasonable for proportions. Shrimp was real good, Catfish was okay. Hush Puppies were average. The Restaurant seemed clean but the floors to be honest were flat gray colored cement so who can tell. The service is what makes this place special. If I could blink my eyes I would put in a Fountain Drink service with plenty of ice. Have brewed fresh Iced Tea. And have real metal cutlery. Then the place would be perfect. I do not recommend the fried Okra as it was too salty. But I will have to come back for some of the other things I see in the menu. Parking: N/A Kid-friendliness: They have kid plates.

Swai. They sell swai, this is not catfish. Its the cheaper Asian cousin, swai. Swai is terrible and telling people its real catfish is incredibly misleading. Had I known I wouldnt not have ordered and would have chosen something else. With everything so expensive Im sad I wasted my money. It just adds on to the pressure to cook at home so you know what youre eating and save money in the long run. The dirty rice was also not great either. Not seasoned at all.

Picked up 10 Lbs of live crawfish on Thursday, April 4th and they were so good. I want to thank you all for making it so easy as I like to boil them myself. I really appreciate your business. I will definitely be coming back in the weeks to come. Update April 27th Picked up about 15 lbs as I had my daughter over and picking up Saturday morning was once again simple and quick. If you like boiling your own crawfish then this is definitely the place to get them.

Great tasting New Orleans flavor! 11/11/2023 - NEW REVIEW! I really like going to this place. It has a huge New Orleans vibe. It reminds me of my favorite spot at home. So when I need good fried oysters this is my go to place. Its a typical neighborhood place, nothing fancy, but it feels homey and welcoming. As always, the oysters were fried to perfection, the french bread was right and I got it dressed! I forgot to take a picture, next time! They also sell Louisiana products. A few of my favorites are Patton hot sausage, my New Orleans peeps know what that means. Louisiana peeps, if you want authentic dirty rice mix, Savioes, this is the place to go. True Cajun flavor, it reminds me of my grandmothers dirty rice. Shout out to St. Martinville, LA, che . I will absolutely be back.

I saw their sign advertising crawfish , so I decided to give them a try. I was somewhat disappointed. The boiled crawfish seasoning wasnt that good and it tasted off. I was also disappointed because about half of the crawfish I received had no tails. Of course, thats where the meat is!! Maybe one would do better to order live crawfish and boil them yourself. The service was decent, but nothing outstanding. I also ordered some etouffee and it was average @ best. Heck, Ive had better etouffee @ Pappadeaux.

Been living in Lewisville for about a year and have tried a couple different seafood places when Im missing home back in Louisiana. This was the first place I found that makes poboys like back home. Flakey/crusty bread, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, mayo. Thats all thats needed. Im not saying other places arent good but its just too fancy for me with all the extras flavors they add. As you can see, they do not skimp on the shrimp. Catfish platter came with 2 big thick pieces of fish. Mostly fish and not all batter like some places. All in all, spent 10-11 dollars on each which is average. Will try other things!

Fried okra and meat pie were good. Gumbo was very flavorful but I wish there would have been no pieces of shells in it. I loved the taste of the crayfish and shrimp. The half of a crab surprised me. I did however choke on a big splintered piece of what I think was shell and I stopped eating about halfway because I didnt want to eat anymore shells. Ladies inside were nice and the food was cheap. Place could be cleaner. I watched the cooks sling hot oil and water everywhere which did not appear safe. Edit: they forgot my potato salad and I believe the meat pie was reheated from the box of frozen ones in the fridge.

The best fried turkeys in town. Their turkeys are the center piece of my Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

The meat patty was under cooked. The blackened cat fish were small and not fresh. Dirty rice and red beans and rice were just ok. If you are looking for good Louisiana food skip this place. The best thing was the diet Coke.

The food was tasty but the prep was lacking. The catfish and the oysters were overdone.

Ordered a catfish plate. This is not catfish. Please be aware they are using other fish instead of real catfish. It was fried too light as well. This was really disappointing!

Been eating happily here for years but today my 4 inch shrimp poboy was po. The 6 over cooked chewy shrimp were joined by 1 leaf of lettuce and 2 slices of paper thin tomatoes. AND my gumbo was 80% rice with one each piece of chicken and sausage. Highly disappointed

Meat pies were good. Dirty rice was not good at all no flavor and huge onions and fried crawfish were just ok over fried and tasteless. I like to support small businesses but I think Ill pass on going here again unless I want some meat pies.

Highly disappointed! We got the shrimp po boy and the seafood gumbo. The gumbo was literally a 1/4 container full with rice and veggies not one piece of seafood! The po boys were skimpy as hell the lil shrimp that were on there were overcooked. The sandwich was mostly mayo and bread. Save your money!!!

Its been awhile since Ive been here, as Ive moved to McKinneyny. I can honestly say, it has been several years and I have never found another Cajun restaurant than it can even begin to compare to Bayou Market. I remember how awesome their gumbo was, I always had to have a bowl with whatever dish I had to get. Everything is spot on everything is delicious everything is consistently amazing! Im going to have to definitely make a trip out here pretty soon
