Tasty as always, 5 stars cause I want you to stay around! however not allowing unlimited sides was a unwelcomed surprise. I didnt even know about it until I went back for more and was told I couldnt get anymore. That was literally the reason spring creek bbq beat out the other options. Guy said it was cause of gov abbot restrictions, but unless there is a secret restriction that wasnt made public, you can have employees dish out more sides if someone would like some. I understand the restrictions, but this wasnt needed to be one of them. :(

When we walked in we stood in the dining In serving line but got directed over the Go to counter where we encountered Host Conor Focus your attention on your food. The To Go Container are just smaller snacks portions. We heard the host Conor say make sure to use the one marked as served first... (servicing old meat first, not fresh). Serving size was intentionally served as half of smaller portions. You could combine the two cups to fit in the palm of your hand They make sure you do not eat too much. Just by eyeballing the 3 Meat combo it weighed less than a pound of meat/with starchy vegetables. One 3-ounce cup of Green Beans as half full One 3-ounce cup of Mac & cheese as half full The quality of the meat was over cooked, dyed out two vegetable cups were starchy and cold . For example, Im standing right in front of you. Why not just hand me the bag instead of as host, place it on the container and say yall have a good rest of your day...as if he did us a favor. He didnt ring up our ticket number #(29) Reprint# 1 20029 correctly as 2 Meat Combo 19.95 Be the bigger person and ignore fools, no responses and no dirty looks, its called gray rock. People like Host: Conor who are rude hope to invoke a reaction out of us so they can gossip about us to others or start a fight. Do not answer the fool according to their folly. The more stable and confident person has no need to talk back to anyone over an insult. Food was okay. I got the combination plate. That comes with a few slices of brisket, a few thin slices of sausage, and two ribs. Comes with two basic sides. That s about $20. Mac and cheese is a premium side and cost more. The bread they pass out has an empty feeling inside. Nothing like the bread from Texas Roadhouse. Overall, you could get a lot more better quality food at other places for the $20 you will spend at this bbq spot.

Bar-b-Q was excellent, sides were good, bread items were not acceptable considering cost. restaurant is clean, bathrooms clean, adequate parking but its hard to get to parking lot if you miss turn in. The buns I ordered for sandwiches and the rolls were day old at best . The sliced brisket, chopped brisket were on point . The sides were also good and in comparrison to other chain BBQ restaurants were superior. Im saying the sides were good but not great. The manager was clean, well spoken and friendly and was the defintion of professional. My biggest gripe was you could not get your own pickles, onions for yourself etc... Im spoiled by Dickeys never ending free pickles, onions, bar-b-q sauces, soft serve ice-cream etc...I would like to take the best of Dickeys and the best of Spring Creek and make my ideal B-B-Q restaurant. I would like to add that Sping Creek doesnt offer a basic family meal package i.e small meal package 1 meat, 2 sides etc. I bought 2 lbs of meat , 3 large sides, buns and rolls and it was right at 100 bucks this much food at Dickeys is maybe 75 dollars. You have to buy everything seperately. Dickeys has better family meal prices and a better more complete family meal package in general. If given the choice of Dickeys vs Spring Creek I would pick Dickeys but I wouldnt go out of my way to go to one or the other. I would give Spring Creek 6.5 out of 10 spoons lol. Not sure why the quality of food has declined in the last year. I ve given the place 3 chances hoping it was a bad day. But after the 3rd strike, I m out! Last week s online dinner order I picked up was lacking cheese in the mac and cheese. It was more like macaroni with no flavor. Ordered an adult plate and a child s plate but neither had a roll. It is unfortunate as I prefer SC over Dickey s. I ll have to make a further drive to the SC in Frisco and hope it s better quality.

Took the wife and grandchildren for lunch. Two child plates and two adult plates. BBQ was delicious. Everyone finished the BBQ, no leftovers. The rolls were great for absorbing the sauce. I paid $$, but it was worth it. The last time we were here was about 5 years ago. Only the price has changed, the food is still outstanding. The place was not crowded for lunch. I give it 4.5 stars.

Nasty dry and expensive they dont even remove the membrane from the ribs. BBQ is not supposed to be crunchy or chewy. We had beef sliced and chopped, ribs , sausage and ham and none of it was fit to eat!!! To be fair the macaroni and cheese wasnt bad. But we threw it away and ate cold cut sandwiches with our macaroni. If we werent so tired we would have taken it back and demanded our money back. Stopped in on our way home from a funeral. Stopped here because we missed the exit for a different BBQ place, next time Ill turn around and go back.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The rolls were a big hit. I ordered a chopped brisket plate with fries so I was only able to get 1 side. I wasnt impressed with the brisket. It was more on the dry side for me. I was told by a colleague that I shouldve ordered the chicken. I would return but this time I would order the chicken and definitely not the brisket.

Ordered online through a food app. I ordered for a cracked pepper sandwich with baked potato! Look at what I got the meat was so old and overcooked it had turned colors. Thought the potato looked ok and as I got to the sour cream had to spit that disgusting mess out! Got refunded from the courier, but called the store to complain and the seemingly young guy who said he was manager was very nonchalant but did offer his apology. He said they teach the cooks if they wouldn t eat it then don t send it out!!???What a joke! I will never order from this location ever again and due to the grotesque flavor from that potato may not even order from the chain! How could they prepare this and think it was ok?! Whoever made this should be fired on the spot! So nasty! Would not trust this restaurant not just because of how the sausage looked but how the potato s sour cream tasted! As other reviewers have said, youre paying a lot for the amount of food you get here. We went around 2pm on a Saturday and there were only one or two other people there. We thought it was weird the parking lot was virtually empty, but now we know why. Just shy of $50 for two dinner plates with a pretty meager amount of each item is asking a lot. The food was good, but it didnt wow us. The lemonade tasted like it was made with tapwater. Employees were friendly, but ordering was a bit awkward as there were three people, they were talking to each other and doing other things, so knowing who to speak to was a bit confusing. It wasnt terrible but I think there are better options.

Came on lunch time. 1. Employees looked like they do not want to be working or serve the food. We did not even make any special requests to bother them but the workers attitude felt like we were unwelcomed. Also cannot forget these workers smirking and talking among themselves when the customers are in front of them. 2. Some of the workers do not seem to have any sanitary sense. After we were served with the meat, the bread employee literally threw the bread on to the plates with his bare hands. Do you guys not provide gloves to your employees and teach them to toss customers food around? Food was okay. I do not know why we need to get a feeling of unwelcome when we are the one that paid. I recently visited Spring Creek Barbecue and while the food was decent, I cant say I was blown away. One of my main issues was the price - I felt like I was paying a lot for what I got. Additionally, I was disappointed that they didnt offer fresh rolls. While I appreciate that they had other bread options, I really enjoy fresh rolls with my meal. Overall, I would say that Spring Creek Barbecue is a decent choice, but there are probably better options out there in terms of value for money and variety of offerings.

Not very good. I ve never been to a spring creek where you basically went through a cafeteria line to serve yourself. On top of that, the food was t good at all. By the time we sat down, everything was already cold. They have fans above almost every table, which makes the food even colder. I had the brisket, & it was super chewy. My jaw literally hurts. I usually never give less than five stars but I just really felt like I needed to say something. Yesterday I had lunch here and I wanted another roll. I went over to the counter and asked the manager can I have a roll I was glad to pay for it. He said that a lady walks around every 10 minutes and passes out rolls. I was there for 30 minutes. She never came around. It was very disappointing that the manager didn t take the time to provide customer service by providing me with a roll. It would ve taken him less than two minutes to do so. I will never come back here. The customer service was absolutely horrible. I highly suggest next time when one of your customers ask for a roll, take the time and get one for them.

Worst customer service the manager Hispanic guy had a attitude and the little young kid passing out bread was only giving one piece out when others offer you what you ask even the manager did it .. you pay a lot of money to eat BBQ the guy cutting the meat putting it on your place slice it so think they didnt give you alot of meat like being stingy with the meat that use to load your plate now they dont want to give you any meat. ..the BBQ beans were nasty like they been sitting all day .. just lacking service and lacking giving you meat that you are paying for. Wont be goin back . Bad service the manager needs to smile

I always judge a BBQ place by the ribs and Spring Creek had some pretty good ribs. The service and customer interaction were typical for a chain-type place. The restaurant was clean and the food was good, cant ask for much else. Jun 2022

I dont eat beef or pork And if even tasted it well make me sick and yesterday I went to SPRING CREEK BARBEQUE:!!! LOW AND BE HOLD I GOT BECAUSE TOLD THEM TO PLEASE GET MY CHICKEN FROM THE BACK AND DONT CUT WITH A KNIFE THEY CUT THEIR OTHER MEAT WITH EVER HAS TO CLEAN I WAS TALKING TO ONE OF THE MANAGERS AND HE SAID THAT HE TOLD THEM BUT ON ONE CARE ABOUT PEOPLE GETTING SICK FROM EATING THEIR FOOD. BUT ALSO I received hard bread and Not so good food. After paying 41.00 Wow just wasted my money. Not happy .

Went here on Sunday. My wife ordered the chopped beef sandwich and it came out chunky. She bit into the sandwich and was immediately like theres no way Im eating that hard and dry meat. I ordered it chopped. Then we tried to flag the manager down like 6 times and they never saw us. We ended up just going to the them. We had 7 meals and spent $125 on absolutely the worst BBQ I have had. The sides were just ok, not great. Macaroni was the only thing that was good. I had the brisket and sausage combo. The brisket portion was very small for what I paid for. It was a very disappointing visit unfortunately. When we spend nearly $20 a plate we expect a way better meal then that. We were hoping to frequent a new restaurant but after this visit I doubt we can return.

Normally everyone is nice and helpful but not today..11/15/22 went around 6pm. From the moment we arrived the person who took our order was abrupt, unpleasant and didn t smile. The price was higher and the portions were smaller, No rolls were ready, and that s a first. Do better Spring Creek.
