How people aren t knocking down the doors I don t know. We had the nachos with beef to start. And they were great. Our kid even ate them. And he doesn t typically eat the chips and queso we get places. But he loved it. My Philly cheesesteak is probably the best I ve ever had. And my husband loved his burger.

Wednesday, 17 July 2024 my husband and I came here for lunch. It had probably been a decade since we were last here, and its really improved in every category! My bacon cheese burger was DELICIOUS and the upgraded tater tots were perfect. My husband had the 09 burger which includes ghost pepper cheese and jalapenos, and said it had a perfect level of spicy heat. His fries were really good, too. The young woman who waited on us was perfectly professional and attentive. The atmosphere, with shuffleboard in the back, pinball in the front with a stage, and big screen TVs on sports. The music was enjoyable and at a reasonable level. I expect its much busier and louder in the evening, but we really enjoyed it! Well be back! Oh! They have a good variety of beers on tap and bottled! Parking: I have mobility issues and use a cane. However, the nose-in parking by the door on Broadway was great.

HORRIBLE SERVICE Came on a Saturday at 2:45pm not busy at all. Waitress/bartender took about 8 minutes to get our drink order and passed by our table at least 8/9 times. Took her seeing me stand up to come take our order. At that point 20 minutes had gone by so we decided to go ahead and leave. The smell of the restaurant was of a dirty bar. I definitely would not recommend going at all.

My husband and I stumbled upon this area while we were running errands. My husband is a big burger fan (like legit has a tattoo of one) and liked the royale burger. I ordered the Nashville hot chicken tenders. They were not tenders but patties (huge!). They were delicious and nicely coated. They weren t spicy though but delicious flavor. Our server Amanda was very kind and checked up on his frequently. We d definitely come back.

Broadway 5050 has become my go to burger spot to wait out traffic on the way home from work. Love the seared burger and crispy fries. Also have to mention the incredible onion rings. Club finally did something smart and added condiments to the table. Only thing left is napkins, just so you dont have to ask. Seriously, this is my favorite burger and fry place. Only problem last night was too much salt on fries and rings. Still GREAT FOOD! Ill be back.

If I could give -100 stars I would. I walked in just to meet someone the staff just eyeballed me no greeting or hello what can we get for you. For it to be in high class Alamo Heights its run down and shabby for the staff to have an attitude problem. If you want service, atmosphere, and good food go to Winchester 1 block away. They greet you no matter your complexion.

We went on a night when they were short staffed. The server did his best but you could tell he was flustered. I cant really give a great or a poor review on service. Poor dude tried his best. I ordered chips and queso as an appetizer, the queso was good. My daughter ordered nachos, they were ok. I had the BLT and it was crispy and delicious. The fries were gross. Greasy and over fried.

This is not a bar, this is a day care center. There is a whole arcade opposite the bar and everyone that comes here, and I mean everyone brings their kids here. There were easily 30 people here for the playoff football game and there was an equal amount of children from about 5 years old on up to young teenagers. They made so much noise you couldnt hear the game. We had one drink and left. If you want an adult bar atmosphere do Not come here. Plus there is very little parking as we had to park 2 blocks away. Its a place for people with kids to come and drink. Parking: A few spots on Broadway but mostly on the residential streets behind the bar

I stumbled upon this place while searching for a Green Bay Packers Bar for a co-worker. As a Dallas Cowboys fan I should probably remove a few stars in the review but I guess Ill keep them. This is also an Arsenal bar for those futbol fans. The bar was pretty full from 7:00 to 11:00pm. The wait staff and bar tenders were very polite and helpful throughout the night. It has a pool table, shuffle board table, foosball table, and a few arcade games for patrons to partake in. At 9pm on Saturday night karaoke began and everyone in our group and the others that sang had a blast. The food was delicious. I had the 09er burger which had bacon, egg, cheese, ghost pepper, and jalapeno on it and my wife had the Philly cheese steak which had caramelized onions, green and red peppers, and the house queso on it. We also had fried pickles. Our friends had another burger, totchos, and they raved about the chicken wings. We all had a blast and would definitely return in the future.

Service was slow at the table. The bartenders were more interested in serving people walking up to the bar than people sitting at the tables. One group that came in with us got up and walked out, as we were standing up to walk out a bartender came over and took our order. The Philly cheese steak was so good I order a second one. We ve only ordered food to go and the first time was a bust, but we decided to give it another try. Not good. Nashville hot sandwich was small, and had ZERO spice level. The burger was ok, but nothing special. Fries were extremely greasy and soggy. All I tasted was the grease. Fried pickles could have been good if they took their time to dry the pickles then batter and fry. Not to mention the portion was extra small for the price ($9) only semi good thing was the totchos, but that s hard to mess up. We did t finish any of the food We won t be ordering from here again.

We saw the menu and pics online and decided to take the 30 min drive to try it out. Unfortunately, we werent able to. We walked in and noticed place was completely empty except for one person sitting at the bar and one employee behind the bar. We found a table and took a seat......5, then 10 minutes passed and no one came to give us menus or anything. So, we got up and walked out the door. The woman behind the bar was nice enough to tell us bye on the way out lol Will not give this place a second thought. Ive seen enough about how they run their business.

My first time here and they have a great bar layout with plenty of space in the normal dining section for room between everyones party. The food was much better than I expected, I had the 09r which was a great size and made fresh. I enjoy that I could see the kitchen and the cooks and that they seemed to be able to enjoy the bar atmosphere and talk with patrons as well.

Never been before- 1st time there yesterday. Food was good but they are manged very poorly. Staff arrives late and leaving the shift change in a tough spot. Bar tender was attending the bar and also the tables. Dirty tables and short on clean silverware because dishwasher did not show up. Our order was loast and our food was never put together until I went to complaint. Other customers were getting their food after arriving 20-30 minutes after us. We were patient but no Manager was present so the joint was being ran by the cook and the bartender. It got so horrible that a customer felt sorry for them and started to bus tables and appologizing for the bad service and taking out food to the other customers. That should be embarresing for an establishment!!!! He said he was a regular and he does that all the time for them. Who ever owns this place should really look at this management team because his management team was MIA all that time and according to some people, not there at all all day. This regular customer stated that he had to run to the grocery store to buy them hamburger patties earlier that day because the MANAGER did not order any for the weekend. What kind of MANAGER is this person pretending to be at if not running his restaurant for this owner??? Shame on you for picking a MANGER that will be running your busisness to the ground sooner or later. We went to LA DIABLA Mex Restaurant on Main St and 35 after that and there was a FOOD BLOGGER eating next to us(Excellent service by the way). We told him about our bad experiance at your 50 50 establishment and he was suprised that we werent at offered a COMP meal or at least a discount. We told him that your place was being ran by the bartender and the cook- NO MANAGER in site. Like I said, food was great but very bad managed. we will never return unless we hear back from you guys that things have improved.

Place definitely took a nose dive in terms of cleanliness standards. The cook checking his phone while preparing food and not washing his hands is disconcerting. The bartender eating funions and using her phone and not washing her hands between drinks is gross, too. Yeah, its a bar, but you expect a standard of cleanliness and personal hygiene when you go anywhere to be served food and drink. I dont care if you use your phone in front of me, just wash your hands before serving me. On the plus side, burgers are still good, despite knowing the cook made it with dirty hands.

The bar is well setup and spacious. This is sports bar with very nice vibe, you can have a drink at the bar high chair, sit at table or booth. There is a $1 pool billiard, karaoke night with a stage. This is only Arsenal FC sport bar in town. Gunner is preferred but all sport supports is welcome. The is American football game here, boxing or UFC game night. Highly recommend for any visitor or sport lover. Great location and good price.

my fiancé and I were in the SATX area for a wedding and had some time to explore. We stopped at this place and I loved the vibe. Super laid back vibe, I loved our server! We came into this bar/restaurant expecting good drinks & food. You have to order food at the bar which is okay. I asked for a specific drink & the bartender said they cant make it. So I asked if they had an specialty drinks and he said yes he can make me cherry limeade drink that sounded appealing. My boyfriend asked for an old fashioned. Easy drinks one would think.. instead I got a huge shot that tasted like rubbing alcohol. My boyfriends drink looked absolutely disgusting and tasted worse. The 09er is the best burger Ive had in this town, by far. Ghost pepper cheese, jalapenos, chipotle mayo, bacon...and an egg?! Such an interesting, spicy flavor. And the quality of the beef was excellent. Service was a bit slow, due to there only being a single server/bartender working other than the cook, but was very friendly. The quality of the food made up for the slowness. Loved the laid-back atmosphere. The skate decks and cool half-pipe wall in the game area brought back fond memories of my youth.

Overall, its fine. A group of about 10 of us went to the 50/50 on a Tuesday for lunch. You are asked to place your order at the bar. There was one person at the bar taking food and drink orders for us, as well as food/drink for everyone else. (No table service). No fault to the poor fellow, but he was over worked - as a result, placing food and drink orders took some time. Next, I ordered a Philly-cheese sandwich, which was smallish but fine, however the cheese on the sandwich was Velveeta, which I found gross. The tater-tots were very good. Lots of people in our group had hamburgers which they reported as okay. Two people in our group asked for ice-tea which ended up taking about 30 minutes before arriving. In summary - every once in a while the stars just dont line up and there is an off day - so Im certainly willing to get it anther go. But, for this visit, it just seemed unorganized.

Thursday night is NASTY. As in the big nasty juke joint experience playing blues, originals, and covers to keep your foot stompin and your whiskey flowing. Super disappointed. They opened early at 9 am for the World Cup but weren t serving food or drinks. They have opened before at 6am for games and had food and drinks so why was today different? Very disrespectful employees! All were on their phones and no one taking orders, the bar tender was more worried about answering his phone texts than taking care of the customers orders, he rather ignored us! Come on people youre getting paid to do this!! Theyre also very racist! We wont come back here for sure!

Definitely agree with comments highlighting the decline in enjoyable atmosphere and the drop in quality of food. Not the fun local joint it used to be. Burger of the month options used to be creative and delicious, this month is a run-of-the-mill turkey burger. Thanks for the memories!

Neat spot! Excellent burgers! Derrick knows how to cook! Diana, our server was great! Some GB Packer love was on display! We are going to check out their karaoke (Wednesdays & Saturdays) *update 10/24/22 (5 to 2 stars) The service has gone way down hill and the food is not as good! The last time we stopped in will be (unfortunately) the last time we go here! Check out Vicious Eats food truck! Amazing service and EPIC burgers!

I got the BLT and i know thats basic, but i promise you... You can eff up a BLT. This by far is the best BLT Ive had so far. Aside from that. Great sports bar atmosphere, with games, good food and I like that the chef brings it out to you.

Excellent burgers. Tots were on point as well as the fries. Football on ever TV. Kind of a dive spot, but great food. On par with any other burger place in the city Parking: Parking right in front, but right on the street. Hard to back out of there.

I want to give this place 5 stars, the first two times my fiancé and I went were amazing great service good food and the drinks were great. We had sat at the bar and male bartender was who waited on us the first two times. Really nice guy and attentive. The last two times were completely opposite as far as service. We sat at the table and the girl who waited on us, didn t catch her name but had eyelashes kind of petite, was not so nice. When we asked to have the tab split she snatched the receipt off the tables still we gave the place another chance. Yesterday night we stopped in for some food. Asked if the kitchen was open and was rudely told it was closed. Same girl at the bar. Just seems like she doesn t want to be there or attend on the customers nicely.

The place smelled like decomposing food, similar to many cafeterias. The waitress was very friendly, but forgot several condiments, that we had requested at least twice. The place had very few customers. My chicken tenders were excellent and plentiful. My dates burger was mediocre, as were the French fries. Parking: Hardly any parking spots.

Do not believe the reviews this place was the worst restaurant that I have been to in San Antonio not only was the food horrible the wait staff was the worst wait staff that Ive ever had making faces the entire time ignoring us it took over an hour to get an omelet and a burger when we did get the Omelette it was cold and the burger was disgusting old lettuce but the Patty tasted like it was not beef! It was really sad that this is the way we spent our Sunday morning! The reviews about the smell are true the restaurant smells like mold stale water dirty!

We went in on Sunday resturaunt smelled of urine and mold, ordered our drinks, mine came with a film like coating over all of it, and when we told the server she rolled her eyes and said its just whatever is in the cup well there should not be a film of filthy in the cup Im drinking out of. Then we order burgers and fries, the burgers were hard dry and tasteless and the fries were cold like they had been sitting for a while before we received them, they were not even slightly warm, and neither of the burgers were made correctly. Everything was horrible. There are so many amazing restaurants on Broadway we wont be eating at this disgusting place again. Do yourself a favor and pass this place up, you will regret eating here.

We went in Sunday afternoon and it was bad from get go. My soda had some kind of film over it like the cup they put it in was dirty, it was disgusting. Then we both order burgers and neither of them came out right, and the meat was dry and flavorless, the bun was soggy and full of grease, and the fries were halfway cooked and tasteless. The resturaunt is filthy and smells of mildew and pee. Needless to say this was one of the most disgusting meals we have ever had. Do not eat here, there are so many delicious restaurants on Broadway and this isnt it, save your time and your money.

Terrible experience, server rarely came to table and lucky to get any refills at all. Out of my party of seven only 2 said their food was decent. Everyone at the table said the food was very bland or flavorless. Our waiter clocked out mid service and left one woman to serves the whole restaurant.

They wanted to kick us out right when we arrive for no reason. We are international students from UIW and only got a beer there. They told us we were too drunk when we were just singing by the bar. Not a really nice place when you are international. 1 star because it s the least I can give. Do better
