I decided to hangout at the Drunken Donkey for the first time lastnight. Good vibes and great food. I ordered the classic cheese burger which is made with a brioche bun. It was delicious. Had a nice refreshing house side salad along with the burger. To drink I had a 10oz Big Wave. Very good. They did have problems with the left side beer drafts pouring out a lot of foam so I hope they get that issue fixed soon. I also ordered their blackened Cajun wings which were half off lastnight. It hit the spot just right. Looking forward to hanging out at the Drunken Donkey again.

Couldnt help but notice the interaction by the owner and an apparent long-term patron. What was the snide comment ...even if you re on a date all about? And browbeating him over how long the place has been open? Sheesh. She might want to go to Amazon and download How To Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I was let speechless at her dressing down of a patron who apparently had an issue. Must have thought it would make new patrons come in by the droves. From my only visit, Id recommend any other neighborhood watering hole. Food was a notch above hospital-grade, staff was indifferent, and bar hangers-on looked angry and aggressive. Next!

Loyal patron for 12 years. Until last night. New management. None of the old wait staff. Tried to charge me $140 for four shots of tequila. Server was flirting with my date. When management was made aware of the issue regarding over priced tequila I was given a dressing down as if I was lucky to be able to spend my money in their establishment. Will never go back. Advice is to stay away because of the fact that the old atmosphere of the neighborhood bar is nothing more now than a memory. Stay away

The food was just average to below average. It felt like microwaved frozen foods with plastic utensils to eat with. When we got there, there were 6 or 7 normal tables available, but all had signs on them that said reserved so your only choice for a table was a high table with hard metal non-back supporting bar stools to sit up high enough for the table. The waitress was a sweet but over-talkative teenager that didnt know the menu very well, and didnt know any named alcoholic drinks. Service was marginal at best. Plus she was the only waiter not including the manager/owner or bartender. The atmosphere was 15 or so TVs on every wall, a man sitting at a table with a laptop, microphone, and a kid speaker, playing music from a playlist of generally popular songs and announcing a countdown to the trivia game coming up at 7 shortly followed by about 50 - 60 people coming in and filling the place up to capacity. They began playing a teams-based trivia game and this was the only atmosphere. Aside from the multiple video golf arcade game machines in the actual dining room with the tables. Side note: I do realize its a sports bar and the owner is trying to attract business with games and participation things like trivia and golf. But, maybe have a separate dining area for the games from those who want to just enjoy a meals or drinks, and focus a little more on food quality and service.

If you want the definition of a dive bar, this is it. Food was absolutely awful. I swear they just buy a bag of pre-made chicken wings from Costco and mark them up and sell them. It was served with wilted and bleached celery that still had the leaf on top. Fried pickles were razor thin and 90% batter that was absolutely disgusting. I feel like the batter was left out over the week because it really tasted off. In addition to that it was served on top of wilted and disgusting shredded kale for some reason as a garnish. Totally unnecessary and unappetizing.

True story: The bartender had a friend who was a patron. The bartender and her were taking shots racking up a tab. I paid my tab, left a $100 tip because I felt sorry they were working on July 4th and Im a nice guy who has bartended on holidays in the past. I was only there for an hour. The bartenders friend stole my debit card to pay her and the bartenders bill. I caught them and an argument ensued. They finally refunded me the money after several minutes and said it was no big deal and that I was the problem for having an issue with it. They asked me to leave which is what I was trying to do until they stole my card. So when they asked me to leave, I went out to the parking lot to wait on my uber. Instead of taking the L with the argument like an adult, the manager who watched her employee drink while working and steal from me followed me outside to continue the argument and to tell me to get out of their parking lot. I was not on their property anymore and was waiting on my uber. The parking lot is shared by several other businesses so its not their parking lot. He thought it was, so he called the police. They lied and made up things to try to get me in trouble. These people are disgusting trying to protect a thief and drinking on the job and trying to take advantage of my generosity. I couldnt believe it and you cannot make this type of stuff up. I dare the owners upload the security footage from that night to youtube 07/05/2023 1:35 am. They wont because theyre pieces of Sh and know theyre wrong and thieves. That was my first time there and only went because it was on Bar Rescue. Now I know why it was on the show to begin with and they have disgraced John Taffer

Been there twice. Staff is pretty rude. If you re not a regular they are stand offish. The regulars in there are your typical drunks that insert themselves in your conversation then the staff will back them up. The place seems dead most of the time. The wings are great though. So inside was a little rough like a bar but we sat outside on some picnic tables. As far a comfort I was good because I was leaning up against the wall but my 3 other friends (all in our late 50 s to early 60 s). Food was good flavor but half the table was very cold. I d rather been delivered in rounds instead of waiting till it was all done. Fried catfish tasted good but we got two pieces that were REALLY fishy. The chicken fried chicken was really good but sadly cold. We all had drinks and honestly we waited on most stuff. We would have drank/ate more if we we re waited on more.

We selected this place as it was a bar that was rescued on the TV show and being not familiar with the area. We thought it would be fun. The food and service was outstanding. Unfortunately, they ditched the decor and new name. Went back to the decor before the show. Its a step down and wasnt a good decision. Plenty of wasted floor space and an ugly green wall color. Ah well. With excellent food and service. I can live with it.

What a find. My wife and I stopped into this eatery for a quick lunch after shopping. We were greated with a most friendly waitress who offered great suggestions for lunch. The meal was great. My most recent experience here was the worst time from the other 3 visits. To begin the bartender, who is mentioned in other reviews so I wont say her name, was drunk; She had the attention span and comprehension of a 6 year old. I asked for a beer on tap she gave me a bottle of the beer I asked for in a bottle and opened it because she wasnt paying attention to me telling her thats not what I wanted then on top of that she didnt even give me a glass,. This visit was so horrible i lost my appetite and didnt even order food; their food is great but I hope this night is not a downward trend because if so then call bar rescue back immediately before this type of service becomes the rampant.

Awesome Place! Brittany served me when I came here, and she has the greatest personality. Food is amazing, beer is Ice Cold, and the atmosphere just plain cool. I recommend to anyone.

The wings were really soft and juicy and they offer a multitude of different sauces, all 3 different sauces I tried were very delicious kudos to you guys. My only complaint is that the Moscow Mule I ordered was pretty watery and they dont use live ginger in the drink. Other than that, our waitress seemed a bit annoyed by our table, but I will admit that we had lunch with an older couple from my work and im sure we came off as needy. Haha Ill be back
