Its a nice location and the staff is always very friendly. I just got back from an intense backpacking trip and was able to get in the same day which was nice. Mari was my masseur and she is the absolute best one Ive ever had, she was very attentive and obviously very knowledgeable at her job! I will be going back.

I came here with a gift card for my birthday. The experience was lackluster at best. Booking was odd, the customer service was not there but I figured the employee was younger/possibly new. They called back the next day because they forgot my gift card number. I did not have it on me and was told if I didn t provide it my appointment would be cancelled. They allowed me to provide it the following day. Upon arrival the building was FREEZING! I had called thinking I may be 3 min late due to traffic but I arrived on time. My masseuse told me because we were short on time it would be best to skip my legs and to just do my upper half. My appointment was at 12:30 and she started at 12:36 and ended at 1:24. The massage was truly awful, it was a waste of time. I asked a couple times for more pressure but overall, pointless. Then they had me put on a robe for a facial. The robe wasn t dirty but it was dingy. It was white and you could tell it had been through it. I grabbed my belongings that were in a box but the room wasn t ready so I sat in another massage room for a few minutes. It was so cold and odd. The facial was okay. Again, just cold. The bolster they put under the legs was plastic and like an ice cube. The bed was uncomfortable, you are in a position for a long time with nothing to support your neck. I was more sore leaving than when I went in. The esthetician was kind and did a pretty good job. Overall, don t waste your money.

I have hand n stone membership from 2016 (Avery ranch location) but I started going to Leander location once we moved to Leander. This location provides the worst most service ever. I have almost 25 services in my account (u gain 1 service every month if you are a member) and I am not able to use any of it because firstly they are out of deep tissue message therapist (female) for over a year and they have no intensions to hire one. Secondly I tried booking for a legs/arms wax but the receptionist told me legs/arms wax is not something very common at their location and they don t have anyone who is experienced but they do advertise boldly on their website that they Do provide tip to toe waxing service . What a great lie! I was being told that it will take up-to 2 n half hours for just the arms/underarm waxing which made be go simple aback as the Avery ranch location did my legs/arms/underarms everything in 2 hours. On top of it they abruptly cancelled my scheduled appointments couple of times which is quite frustrating as I have to book the appointments a month before. Extremely disappointed with their service and will never recommend them to anyone.

Dry massage, receptionist was coughing in my face and apologizing for doing it over and over, massage was cut 15 minutes short. I booked for deep tissue- he spun my arms in circles for 20 minutes-I did not rebook and purchased moisturizer with my remaining credit. $175 wasted.

I have been trying to book here for months. That is the reason it got 4 stars. Everything was excellent except availability. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for location. I just cant seem to ever find an appointment in a reasonable time. Massage was great timing great. Wonderful therapist. Scheduling makes me sad.

My wife went there today. While she was undressing the massage therapist knocked on the door and asked if she was ready. She said 3 times that she was not. He then cracked the door and looked in! Maybe he didnt hear her, but there was no apology! She was able to cover herself, but this made her feel VERY UNCOMFORTABLE! This is very unprofessional. She will be not be using your services again.

Ive been a membership client of Hand and Stone in another state for about a year. I recently relocated for work and decided to check out my new local Hand and Stone. The massage was excellent and the front desk staff were helpful, friendly, and efficient. Membership credits are transferrable between locations, so the transition was very smooth! H&S are 3/3 for me so far, which reflects well on the brand as well as this location.

This was hands down, the worst customer service I ever had! My Moms birthday was this week, I was trying to get her a facial or massage as part of her birthday gift. I visited there website, (which looked professional) and saw they had a gift card special for fathers day(attached picture). I called the number listed on their website, I had a couple of questions about this special and what massage / facial services they offer. I called once on Wednesday with no answer, called Friday no answer, called Monday of this week, with no answer, and I left a voicemail. Stupidly I thought they were very busy and decided to go into their location to get some questions answered and grab two $100 gift cards. When I went into the location yesterday, it was a ghost town, their was one young employee at the counter talking to his friend when I walked in. I wonder why my phone calls were not answered nor returned, this young kid was too busy talking to his friend to answer my phone calls. He hangs up the phone, and I proceeded to ask him about the fathers day deal. He replied (sir we dont offer any deals or packages). I told him its on youre website. He stared at me with no answer, or reply. I told him if you pull it up on your computer Ill show you. He again stared at me with no answer or reply staring at me awkwardly. (getting frustrated now) I firmly said, OK Ill pull it up my phone and show you. Showed him the deal on his companies website (attached picture), showing him and telling him we they had a gift card deal on their website. He AGAIN stared at me with no answer. I finally said I need to talk to a manager, he said Im the only one here, he told me Ill be right back. Thinking he was getting a manager or some answers to my questions, stupidly I waited again. He came back and told me we do have a gift card special for fathers day. I asked what about any packages (attached picture) or what massage services you offer). He replied we dont offer any packages or massage services. I shook my head, in disbelief. And proceeded to walk out, they lost my business. If you looking for great customer service, this is not the place for you. I found another spa place nearby with a totally different experience. I would recommend to call and talk to an employee before you go in. If you looking for a GREAT EXPERIENCE TRY the JON RIC SPA!!

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Was hired here back in the beginning of April in the spot and was told that I was gonna make good money yada yada blah blah. The girl that was supposed to train me left the same week I got hired and was supposed to open up the rest of my company training for me to complete and she didn t do it. The manager is rude and cut throat and was telling me the licensed Esthetician how to do her job and didn t even know how long Dermalogica scaling fluid is supposed to stay on a clients face. Fired me bc apparently I took too long on clients and I was up selling my packages which means more services which means more time it takes to do the service and I m not the type that s gonna sit there and rush and slap products on a clients face. Some of the stuff I needed to do a Dermalogica facial weren t available. Also Got fired for not having enough rebooks when they were clearly rebooking my clients with another esthetician. I was even told by the manager that maybe I had a personality problem. No I was clearly sabotaged behind my back and felt disrespected. I even sold more product than the others and even witnessed the manager telling the client that she didn t need the sunscreen that I the licensed Esthetician recommended for the client! Talk about overstepping boundaries. I knew my products I knew what the clients needed and also was the only one who knew how to wax. None of the others girls were even comfortable to wax a client. They were Not even comfortable enough to do a Brazilian. I was fired well before the 30 days. Very unprofessional, unfair, sneaky, and will do u dirty. I would not recommend this place to anyone to work. Funny how u can call people out for their behavior and they try to flip it on u like you re the problem and tell u that u have a mental problem. And to melody all of ur clients I had said that u were lackluster in the treatment room and ur clients left unsatisfied with dry faces. -sincerely P-E-N-N-Y Btw corporate is going to be contacted for the way I was treated

The hair removal services here are cheaper than European Wax Center, and not as rough as traditional wax on my skin type. Facials are amazing. Great deals and free gifts offered when booking with new esthetician to promote those services. I really like that the management supports their technicians in this way. When I can get an appointment it is great but they have cancelled back to back appointments with me. When they say they can reschedule it is weeks out. If you are a working professional with only nights and weekends available it is very challenging to get an appt. I cancelled my membership and still havent gotten a call back from a manager.

This is like going to Supercuts to get a great hair style. Pamela was sweet but way too gentle. I basically got a really long massage. I wanted my pores unclogged and that is not what happened.
